Located inside of the Parker Palm Springs, we have eaten here many times while staying at the hotel. Service is wonderful, the shot of the day as a complementary appetizer is a great start to your day! A healthy smoothie and delightful. Breakfast are the best way to begin your day. I have tried my way through their entire menu by now and worthy mentions are the donuts as well as any of their salads, you really can't go wrong with anything here. I love that they have a variety of breakfast and lunch items, many vegetarian items, hearty portions, beautifully presented! The quality and portion size is well worth the splurge, not just for hotel guests. This is a great option while in Palm Springs!

Have now been to Norma's at the Parker about five or six times. Recently, my visit was so lackluster that I felt compelled to update my review. We had Sunday brunch reservations. It took about ten minutes for our server to appear. Unusual for this restaurant. We had no water until he sent someone over. Our server never told us his name, also unusual for Norma's. It took a long time for our meal to arrive. Yes, we are in high season and the restaurant was busy, but not packed. Norma's usually handles crowds well. We were a party of six and half of us were not happy with our food. The corned beef hash was about a quarter cup of under cooked potatoes and pearl onions. Under the eggs was a pile of shredded corned beef. Just a pile of meat. Not even crispy, just a pile of shredded beef. The chicken and mushroom omelette was bland, and the potato pancake not cooked evenly. One of our party told the server about his breakfast and we were comped some doughnuts, which was lovely. However, it was a pricey meal that was disappointing on many levels.

AMAZING spot for brunch! I initially was hesitant to come here because I'd heard the brunch was just okay, but this was my favorite spot we visited the entire time we were in Palm Springs. I ordered the short rib Benedict and was so impressed by the variety of flavors. Perfectly savory. The eggs were cooked just right and there was tons of short rib on the Benedict. My husband also loved his corned beef hash. My only complaint is that we didn't try any of their sweet dishes like the French toast, which looked amazing. Will definitely order next time. The service was pretty fast and efficient and we were in and out in about an hour. Overall a really nice experience and I can't wait to return!

Norma's was by far the better of the two restaurants at the Parker. The service was more seamless and I didn't have to flag down servers. This place does have a lot of items labeled gluten free but they had a lot of options to modify gluten free! I had the corned beef hash and they gave me gluten free toast in a separate toaster! Good cross contact knowledge. The ambiance is very cute, funky 70s vibe. The food was good and of course it's pricey just due to location. Really my only complaint. The food portions were large at least.

Norma's at Parker Palm Springs is a full 5/5 -- breakfast done perfectly in true Palm Springs style. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The fresh-squeezed orange juice is a must. I had the turkey and sweet potato hash with gluten-free bread, which was hearty and satisfying without feeling heavy. The classic American breakfast was equally impressive -- especially the chicken sausage, which was beautifully charred on the outside with a juicy, flavorful center. The yogurt and fruit parfait was fresh and balanced, a perfect lighter addition. Service made the experience even better -- Vanessa was warm, helpful, and genuinely happy, which set the tone for the entire meal. A tip: reservations are strongly recommended. There is a table fee that varies depending on the time and seating you select, but it's worth it. Walk-ins are technically welcome, but I wouldn't risk missing out. Also, parking is limited, so plan accordingly. A vibrant, delicious brunch experience that lives up to the hype -- I'd absolutely go back

Norma's is inside the Parker hotel, which is a gorgeous property with eclectic decor. You can get street parking and walk in or pay $15 for valet. The restaurant itself has a lovely, colorful patio and the BEST breakfast I've ever had dining out. I got the Wa-Za waffle and lemme tell you-- I'm so glad I treated myself! We'll be back!!

Normas is an amazing breakfast/lunch place with great service, nice outdoor seating, and lots of delicious and healthy options. We ate here two days in a row while staying at the Parker. Loved their salmon and fish options. And they give you a free smoothie sample. Their coffee and espresso are also incredible. It was amazing.

The restaurant was beautiful and the staff was very kind. We were celebrating an event and they really made it special. I have two complaints: Parking- it is a hotel but the staff does not communicate. I driver around trying to figure out if i was in the right place and had to wave down several people to try to understand where and how to park. My Caesar salad- the bread bowl was sooo stale, it was unbelievable. The dressing was very off. Too tangy and maybe too fishy. I couldn't when get half way through it.

We had lunch/brunch here twice in a three-day span in the middle of the week. There are plenty of creative choices on the menu. The dishes we tried over those two meals were: Huevos Rancheros, Eggs and Bacon Breakfast Quesadilla, Pancakes, Eggs and Hash Browns, and Claws & Chips (their version of fish n chips - except using lobster). All of the food was nicely prepared and well presented. Service was outstanding and the setting was beautiful. We didn't have any issues with parking because we were staying at the hotel. It's not difficult to see why this place is so popular.

The service is top tier. I wish i could remember our waitress name , She was amazing . She was super attentive without feeling pushy or ingenuous. Very sweet and personable . We ordered drinks and were brought samples of freshly made smoothies, so so delicious! Drinks were great. Food was impeccable , the flavors and preparation are 10/10 as well as the presentation. The vibes here are great , super bright and cheery !! Loved the aesthetic ! Fajitas were amazing and even splitting the meal between two people we couldn't finish. my other guest loved their dishes as well , fish taco and short rib benedict were to die for !!

    Pathetic burger

This place is not worth the hype. The hotel is designed cool, but for a place that has the nerve to charge for reservations the service and food were a huge let down. Took forever to get someone to help us, we both ordered the burger and what came was something you could barely describe as a slider. Tasted fine, but was literally two bites. Told the server this and they said yeah the burgers are really small. So they've basically gotten this feedback repeatedly and not felt compelled to fix it. None of the other dishes coming out looked particularly appealing either. Spare yourself and eat somewhere else in town.

great service and ambiance, okay food - we were there for brunch. although we were seated inside, the flies still found their ways in and wouldn't leave us alone...

Located in the Parker Palm Springs hotel, Norma's is a Palm Springs establishment everyone should visit. If the weather permits, definitely sit outside in their colorful, covered patio. The staff are attentive, friendly, and welcoming who can help decipher the menu. I say decipher in the best way possible because Normas menu is one of the BEST menus I've ever seen. The names are clever, the preparations thoughtful, and the presentation's exceptional. They start you off with the smoothie "shot" of the day, which was strawberry banana and orange juice. We then ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the crab cake "pancakes". The sandwich was large and the fries FANTASTIC (super crispy yet meaty). The two crab cakes were flattened but large and delicious. They come with an aggressively dressed mixed green salad with white balsamic and a single beer battered onion ring that is filled with a dill tartar sauce/aioli. Highly recommend eating the onion ring first otherwise it gets soggy and if you're not a heavy-dressed salad person, then ask for lighter dressing or on the side. Otherwise, fantastic and flavorful dish. Order a glass of their rosé and you'll have it poured out of a double magnum bottle. Or a Diet Coke and you'll have a personal carafe on the side. Awesome spot. Bring a group so you can try a bunch of different awesome dishes and just have a good time. Can't wait to come back.

If you can't get a reservation, bar seats are first come, first served, and I can see why people line up for them. This was probably the most expensive meal of our trip, and at times you definitely feel it. A Belvedere martini with no vermouth for $27 made me laugh a little. This isn't Vegas. That said, much of the food was excellent. The Duck Liver Pâté was incredible, and the Red Thai Curry Mussels were unique without overwhelming heat. The Cacio e Pepe was one of the standout dishes of the week. Those thick noodles were fantastic. We also ordered the Steak Frites and upgraded to filet. Unfortunately, it came out overcooked, and I asked for it to be removed from the check. On the other hand, the Smoked Bone-In Duroc Pork Chop was perfectly prepared and incredibly moist. Dessert finished strong. The Aniston's Pavlova was excellent, especially the Chantilly cream. The warm chocolate chip cookies were delicious too, although $15 for cookies is definitely a Palm Springs moment. Pricey? Very. Worth experiencing? Absolutely.

On our journey to Palm Springs my team left the food choices to me since I'm picky. Lol. We showed up on a Wednesday night (note that they do not open Monday and Tuesday), around 4:40 PM. There was already a long line of individuals waiting to get in. There were about 15 people ahead of us. At opening, we were immediately sat down into the second dining room to the right of the restaurant. It gives a different vibe than the main room with its red bench seating and lantern ceiling. Although the benches were high, and the tables were a little low, we managed. Of course, we tried the complementary congee. Which I love, but my colleagues were not a big fan of. We ordered the calamari and the crispy beef noodle. We also ordered the shrimp and mango spring roll, the softshell crab and green papaya salad, and the pork belly lettuce wraps. The shining stars, for my colleagues were the calamari and crispy beef noodle. Followed by the shrimp and mango spring rolls and the softshell crab. The three of us did not enjoy the pork belly at all even though it came recommended. We actually only ate 2 pieces. The food overall was good although we wish we didn't get the pork or at least stuck to our goal of four main dishes. The waitress recommended we get one more and that's when we added the pork. Next time we will go with our gut instinct. One thing that was disappointing on this visit was that when we ordered drinks, one of them came out in a can. We were under the assumption it was a draft pour. For $14 it should have been noted that it is canned. The way that it is written into the menu no one would assume otherwise.

The two-top table near the bar, with mustard-fabric lounge chairs on low spindled "moon-lander" inspired supports seem to have jumped right out of a 60's time machine, matching the retro vibe in the whole place. Our server was delightful, regaling us with her informative descriptions of her favorite dishes... it's fabulous when a server knows the menu so well that they can describe not only what's in the dish, but why it's so good. Cocktails were an obvious strength, and after my first choice, the pear-inspired Akita was regrettably "out of stock" (she informed us that they had run out of the fresh pear syrup they make by hand each day), I was steered to the It's Giving Julius. This boozy take on the classic Orange Julius, with a mouth-watering egg-white-textured foam floating on rum-infused a citrus blast. For Gayle, it was a moment to savor the non-alcoholic "Clutch Your Pearls," complete with boba pearls atop an icy lime-green concoction. The entire restaurant is themed on "American comfort food with an Asian twist." And let me say, they nailed it in every aspect. My bowl of Tteokbokk was a brilliant spin on a classic Rigatoni bowl, subbing Korean rice cakes for pasta and gochujang spiked tomato sauce for marinara, but keeping the rich parmesan/mozzerella cheese. At the server's suggestion, I topped it with fried pork belly, well executed and delicious, the entire bowl was light with an arrabiatta-like kick. My wife had the Garlic Noodles... imagine a creamy bowl of chicken noodle casserole straight out of the 60's, but without a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken in sight. Velvety sauce glazed perfectly cooked Ramen noodles with vegetables and chicken... took her right back to her mother's kitchen where the same dish was the perfect remedy for the flu - comforting and scrumptuous without being too heavy. And finally having not overstuffed ourselves on this trip, we opted for the "poor life choice" of dessert. And after asking for the "simple plate of milk and cookies," the server corrected me and stated - rightly so - that this was anything but simple. Three stuffed cookies: Red Velvet with cheesecake cream, S'mores with marshmellow, and cinnamon filled Churro - nuggets from Heaven's bakery, with a glass of cold milk. We managed to finish it and roll on out full of some of the best food we've had this year. The only minor hiccup was when trying to buy merch on our way out, the front stand didn't have a terminal to let us pay, so we had to seek out a bartender to run our credit card (and they were super busy). A minor complaint in the grand scheme... get those hosts a card reader! Note: We didn't see a single dog in the place... but they clearly are welcome to 4-legged clientele. Such a fun spot.

We were taken to our table roughly 10-15 minutes after our reservation, which was perfectly fine. When we were seated, we decided on appetizers to order. Our waiter came over and we put in our appetizer order, but said we'd like more time to decide on main courses. The appetizers came out very slowly, and we were then told that one of the orders (the ube focaccia) had run out, so we could get regular focaccia instead, which we did not want to do. Two orders of tuna tacos were brought to our table but we had only ordered one, and on the receipt they made it look as though they "comped" the second order (which was taken back once they realized we hadn't ordered it). We didn't get to order our main dishes for quite some time, and then it took ages for the dishes to come out. They were tasty, but we were getting to the point that we were ready to go home if the food didn't come out within the next few minutes. Once the mains did arrive, my friend asked if there is any rice we could order, and our waiter said yes, but they had just run out. We found this very odd - ube focaccia is one thing, but who runs out of rice? My husband ordered a beer which was never brought to him, and upon getting the bill, my friend said that we didn't receive one of our drinks. The waiter then said "yeah, I forgot about it. But don't worry, it's not on the receipt." Again, strange. Our waiter seemed very disengaged and unapologetic, which I found odd. I can understand that he was busy, but to not apologize for forgetting the drink, running out of one of our appetizers, running out of rice, and waiting a very long time for our dinner seemed strange. Plus, the food was quite expensive (and the portions were relatively small), so it felt especially bizarre that the service was so off. I wouldn't come back because of the service and the price for the portions, but the food did taste very good. I'm disappointed because I wanted to love it here!

Got the ny steak this time , fabulous. I love the outdoor patio, lots of big round tables available for larger parties. Only recommendation for the restaurant is to please put chimichurri on the menu for the steak :( it's fairly cheap to make and store but I understand chefs will serve you according to their vision, which I respect haha. Just I love me some green sauce with my steak Absolutely best restaurant in Palm Springs for picky eaters, great big menu with lots of unique flavors

While I'd like to say I loved this place, it's just not possible. We were seated in a small dining…read moreroom because outdoor seating was full. The servers were very attentive and didn't skip a beat when we needed water refills or had questions. That's about where the stars turned bad. We ordered a shrimp cocktail to start. When it arrived, I noticed the shrimp was undercooked and translucent, not opaque and fresh like it should be. I asked our server to please have the chef cook it more so that we could eat it. Unfortunately, he came back and advised us that the chef refused to cook it longer because he said "it was perfectly done." Since when does a chef not accommodate a request for further cooking??? I was shocked that they didn't understand the concept of customer service. We cancelled the shrimp and ordered the fried chicken deviled eggs. They were interesting and tasty, but it just didn't really work together. I ordered the Steak Wedge for dinner, which consisted of just that -- a tiny filet mignon covered in sauce and half a wedge salad. My sister ordered the meatloaf. It was the strangest meatloaf I've ever seen. The consistency was more like corned beef hash mushed together into patties. She said it had a good taste, but the texture turned her off. The food was just okay, and later that night I ended up getting sick. I can't say it was directly related to my dinner, but I can't imagine what else would have made me ill. We did enjoy the mai tais, but only had one with dinner. When the bill came, the server was quick to point out that they didn't charge us for the shrimp. Well I hope not!!! All in all, I'll skip this place next time. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g32847-d796247-r1061652344-Jake_s-Palm_Springs_Greater_Palm_Springs_California.html#
