FACILITY: Small, limited seating indoors with very nice, fun, outdoor seating areas. Love this place. MENU: Simple, easy to understand, great photos online if you have any questions. FOOD PREP: Very well done, like professional in just how it looks. FOOD QUALITY: Professional in how it also tastes... Watermelon Gazpacho was perfect with drinks prior to main. LIBATIONS: drinks and bartender were excellent, fun, and the photo print was very cool. WAITSTAFF: just so nice, and fun making the experience all that much better. We have been enjoying The Plaza Theater so spending a little more time in Palm Springs and this will be one of our favorites places to relax prior to an event. OVERALL VALUE: Good, but it is Palm Springs, outdoors, great locations, classy.. no, not inexpensive but well worth it. TIP: I'd say be nice, be patient, and you will get a table. I am actually on vacation, not at work for a change !! I found this gem via Google and Yelp, my two favorite guides! Amazing food and service from the two waiters, I wish I would've gotten their names. It was pouring rain in Palm Springs, the week I decided to go on vacation with my daughter, yet the staff did the best they could on the outdoor seating. They lit the heaters for us, which really warmed things up. Thank you The restaurant is clean, the food is fabulous and the service is great. There is nothing missing. The flavors on the food were incredible. I got a small seasonal salad and an Italian sandwich on gluten-free bread. Service was slow and took a long time to order. There are only two bathroom stalls that are shared with the restaurant next door. Whenever I get a chance to visit the Front Porch it is always memorable. Can't go wrong with the rainbow salad or the incredibly beautiful cheese board. The cocktails never disappoint, and there are so many to try! It's fun for me to bring friends & family here for the first time to try. If it's a Thursday evening (village fest street fair) and we have the dogs, we sit outside and they are so happy to receive love from people walking by. We have pretty much tried everything on the menu now, and even their sandwiches are good which I wasn't expecting. Can't wait to work my way through the breakfast menu. We were drawn into this bar by the prospect of printing an image on our drink and it didn't disappoint! The inside is pretty tiny. Only 6(?) bar seats and maybe 10 seats total other than that on the inside. There were a few tables out front on the sidewalk as well. Our bartender was great! We came in around 2 or 3 on a Monday and originally sat outside since the inside was full. Our bartender offered to move around some umbrellas for us and then asked if we wanted to move inside after some people left. We didn't even have to ask for anything, he was so accommodating! I wish I would've gotten his name. I asked about getting a picture on my drink, and he said that the cocktail had to have egg white in it, but you can also do the espresso martini since it has a foam. Front Porch is a must try when in Palm Springs! My hubby and I drove into town on our last stay in PS, we were looking for something fresh and light to eat for our late breakfast. I thought I wanted a salad but landed on the strawberry banana waffle LOL and my husband stuck to the plan and ordered the sesame ahi...both were delish! The waffle was fluffy yet had a slight crispiness and not cakey at all, they top it with fresh bananas, homemade strawberry jam and homemade whipped cream. The seafood was oh so fresh and the presentation was beautiful. For drinks we had the fresh watermelon lemonade which tasted exactly as you'd hope and the French press coffee (small) was perfect. Our server was very personable and friendly kept conversations going with all us in the place. And even (easily) convinced us to try one of his specialty cocktails, it was a smoked old fashioned with pistachio infused bourbon...I know right?! How could we say no... It was legit just like two beets cut up with cheese, pistachios and sprouts. It was delish...but not enough food for $17. Throw it on some mixed greens and you have something filling and yummy. Kids didn't have a lot of options either. Pancakes and crepes...I feel like there is a great opportunity to do something like a grilled cheese or a kids charcuterie or something here. Just one option that's more kid friendly and not just sweets. Italian sandwich was good, banana chocolate crepe was delish. There are no table for party larger than 4 people unless you want to sit at the bar. There are patio dining as well. The restaurant manager was our server and she was very efficient and pleasant.
