FACILITY: Small, limited seating indoors with very nice, fun, outdoor seating areas. Love this place. MENU: Simple, easy to understand, great photos online if you have any questions. FOOD PREP: Very well done, like professional in just how it looks. FOOD QUALITY: Professional in how it also tastes... Watermelon Gazpacho was perfect with drinks prior to main. LIBATIONS: drinks and bartender were excellent, fun, and the photo print was very cool. WAITSTAFF: just so nice, and fun making the experience all that much better. We have been enjoying The Plaza Theater so spending a little more time in Palm Springs and this will be one of our favorites places to relax prior to an event. OVERALL VALUE: Good, but it is Palm Springs, outdoors, great locations, classy.. no, not inexpensive but well worth it. TIP: I'd say be nice, be patient, and you will get a table. Had lunch at The Front Porch in Palm Springs. We had the Italian sandwich, ahi tacos, and the melted Brie with nuts on top served with fig jam and pears. Amazing food and service from the two waiters, I wish I would've gotten their names. It was pouring rain in Palm Springs, the week I decided to go on vacation with my daughter, yet the staff did the best they could on the outdoor seating. They lit the heaters for us, which really warmed things up. Thank you The restaurant is clean, the food is fabulous and the service is great. There is nothing missing. Very small place, so there is limited seating. There was no host and no one working there said anything about the wait. People just started queuing outside. Service was slow and took a long time to order. There are only two bathroom stalls that are shared with the restaurant next door. Our first time did not disappoint, yes to an intimate setting, great table side service, and great tasting Tropic Thunder, under craft cocktails. Of the two selections, the artisan bread slices layered with a fig spread, then melted Brie, a sprinkle of chopped pistachio's and sliced fig across, this dish became my new go to for a first off; I highly recommend, you won't leave any evidence behind. Whenever I get a chance to visit the Front Porch it is always memorable. Can't go wrong with the rainbow salad or the incredibly beautiful cheese board. The cocktails never disappoint, and there are so many to try! It's fun for me to bring friends & family here for the first time to try. If it's a Thursday evening (village fest street fair) and we have the dogs, we sit outside and they are so happy to receive love from people walking by. Only 6(?) bar seats and maybe 10 seats total other than that on the inside. There were a few tables out front on the sidewalk as well. Our bartender was great! We came in around 2 or 3 on a Monday and originally sat outside since the inside was full. Our bartender offered to move around some umbrellas for us and then asked if we wanted to move inside after some people left. We didn't even have to ask for anything, he was so accommodating! I wish I would've gotten his name. I asked about getting a picture on my drink, and he said that the cocktail had to have egg white in it, but you can also do the espresso martini since it has a foam.
