Organic Beet Salad

We arrived late and this is one of the few spots open. Farm also was open but we wanted something light. This is a great spot. Friendly staff, wonderful drinks and cool vibes. It was hot night so we opted to stay indoors. The food is delicious. Highly recommend where you want small bites and great drinks!

The front porch has an amazing view of the mountain range with good quality clean food and beautiful cocktails. My experience was an 100/10. I recommend this restaurant to everyone especially for the location in downtown.

I am actually on vacation, not at work for a change !! I found this gem via Google and Yelp, my two favorite guides! Amazing food and service from the two waiters, I wish I would've gotten their names. It was pouring rain in Palm Springs, the week I decided to go on vacation with my daughter, yet the staff did the best they could on the outdoor seating. They lit the heaters for us, which really warmed things up. Thank you The restaurant is clean, the food is fabulous and the service is great. There is nothing missing. The flavors on the food were incredible. I got a small seasonal salad and an Italian sandwich on gluten-free bread. It was a very filling meal, I tried a new wine at the recommendation of the previous guest. We are here for a week and we will be back!!

Absolutely loved The Front Porch in Palm Springs! It's a small but incredibly cozy restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The seafood was exceptionally fresh--especially the oysters--and every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The watermelon cucumber gazpacho was a standout: refreshing, light, and the perfect dish to cool down during the extreme Palm Springs summer heat. The cocktails were creative and just as impressive as the food. Brian took care of us, and his service was truly five-star--friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. We can't wait to come back!

Very small place, so there is limited seating. There was no host and no one working there said anything about the wait. People just started queuing outside. Service was slow and took a long time to order. There are only two bathroom stalls that are shared with the restaurant next door. Banana Brulée Cocktail (3/5): too sweet, light banana taste Ahi Tuna Lettuce Wraps (4/5): expensive for only two wraps ($26), but they were delicious and fresh Veggie Sandwich (2/5): not that flavorful and didn't like that there were onions in it, which was not described on the menu

We love everything about palm springs and this place is neat. If you consider yourself a foodie and are in the area you need to check it out. Baked Brie was so good! We sat outside on the back porch and loved the ambiance. Would definitely go back!!

Vegan Wrap

I already love The Farm, but since they were closing for the day and we wanted a late lunch we found ourselves here instead. The staff was kind and attentive to our water glasses; thank you very much. Couldn't decide between the Italian sandwich and the vegan wrap. Husband got the Italian which meant I was stealing a bite or two. It's delicious, but the vegan wrap -- OMG that was yummy!! I could eat that every day.

This is an intimate, smaller venue with indoor and outdoor seating on a side street in old town Palm Springs. It's a charming area with plenty of restaurant options. I was impressed with the quality of The Front Porch's hand-carved turkey sandwich which was among the best I've had with a side salad where every lettuce piece seemed to be individually chosen and curated. Friendly service complimented the fine sandwich. I also liked the music they were playing outside: Jazzy and, thankfully, not too loud.

Beautiful, cozy spot for an after-dinner drink. We told the bartender what we liked and he recommended these beautiful cocktails!

Whenever I get a chance to visit the Front Porch it is always memorable. Can't go wrong with the rainbow salad or the incredibly beautiful cheese board. The cocktails never disappoint, and there are so many to try! It's fun for me to bring friends & family here for the first time to try. If it's a Thursday evening (village fest street fair) and we have the dogs, we sit outside and they are so happy to receive love from people walking by. We have pretty much tried everything on the menu now, and even their sandwiches are good which I wasn't expecting. Can't wait to work my way through the breakfast menu. No reservations so come early for a table. The wait isn't bad and people are very friendly. I love that the staff is consistent, know their stuff, and a big part of the reason we keep coming back.

Smoked Salmon Flat Bread

If you love Farm, don't miss its charming neighbor next door--The Front Porch. It's owned by the same group but has its own personality: lighter, shareable dishes, craft cocktails, and a relaxed, inviting vibe that's perfect for small groups or solo visits. I keep coming back for the out of this world cocktails created and the Smoked Salmon Flatbread--to me it's an elevated bagel and lox with dill cream, capers, heirloom tomatoes, and a fresh vinegary salad on the side. The stuffed dates (with smoked blue cheese and candied pecans) are a shareable sweet and savory snack, and the strawberry banana brûlée waffle is perfectly crispy, warm, and exceptionally delicious with the way the bananas have been brûlées. It comes with all the right accompaniments as well. So back to the cocktails.... They are as incredible to look at as they are delicious to drink. Carlos, the in-house master mixologist, crafts stunning (and award winning) drinks with house-infused spirits and homemade cordials. Try the Jalisco Mule it's spicy + refreshing with. Watermelon garnish. Or go for the Botanical Berry (fruity, floral, layered). You may be surprised how even a spirit that you would not normally choose will become an essential backbone to your next favorite drink. Have fun exploring and try something new! Other menu highlights: Shrimp ceviche: Bright, flavorful, and refreshing Beet salad: Goat cheese, pistachios, sherry vinaigrette; small but tasty The ambiance is relaxed and stylish--shaded patio, cozy interior, and super friendly staff with attentive service for a quick bite ora leisurely hang. Just a heads up: You won't find bacon and eggs or omelets here. It's more crisp salads, fresh sandwiches, and cold dishes--with a few warm options like waffles and crepes. And honestly? That's what makes it special.

I stopped by The Front Porch for a quick drink and will definitely be back! It's small but cozy and so cute! Joe the bartender was so welcoming and answered all of our questions. My family member and I were so excited that he knew Spanish and took the time to explain the different ingredients being used. If that doesn't sell it for you, you can have a personal picture printed on certain drinks!! Not to mention the drinks we ordered were delicious! I will definitely be back to stay longer and enjoy the atmosphere and food. Don't miss out on The Front Porch. With so many great options in Palm Springs, you should make some time to visit at least for a drink.

Ok, at first glance you might think just another overpriced cocktail bar, but this place is truly an experience. It's a small, intimate atmosphere with a few tables and a bar. They have small bites and drink options available. The drinks are amazing and they are all so unique. Watching the bartender make them is a performance. You can even get a drink with a custom picture on it. It's definitely a standout from other places in town and I highly recommend stopping in for a drink.

This meant Marilyns everywhere, including the waiters, which made the experience that much more fun. Aside from that, we had made reservations ahead of time thankfully, because it was BUSY. But we were sat just as soon as we had arrived, and despite it being very hot out at the time, they had a bunch of shaded spots with misting fans. The drinks were fantastic, including mine which was a zero-proof mocktail. We all ordered different chicken dishes, and each one received high praise. I was able to try each of them and I was very happy with my fajitas, but I gotta give the nachos their dues. They were just as good. Chips were crispy all the way through, and not one was soggy from all the ingredients. Loved it, will definitely be back when I visit again. Id also like to mention that we chose this place as my friend's Bachelor Party closing dinner, and he couldn't have been happier. He was so thrilled with how the weekend had gone, that dining at Clandestino's really was the cherry on top. Thank you for making our dining experience such a pleasant one.

A flawless, five-star gastronomic masterclass in PS!…read more After finally scoring a coveted reservation, the entire experience blew us away from the second the host greeted us. We were immediately whisked away into a night of unrivaled service and culinary perfection. Tucked away in one of Palm Springs' most charming shopping plazas, this meal was easily the highlight of my week. The menu is brilliantly varied, but a few dishes truly stole the show. The grilled artichoke is a classic, but their execution of it is completely elite. The Halibut main was a revelation--hands down the best I've ever tasted. And you must save room for dessert because the Berries and Cream was worth every single bite. Absolutely delectable. Top it all off with A+++ service from a flawless staff, and this place is worth every bit of the hype.

Reservations are notoriously hard to get, but we got lucky with a last-minute walk-in and were seated after 15-20 min wait. There's plenty of parking, and if you do have to wait, they have a cute little covered outdoor seating area with chairs and tables where you can relax. We sat on the patio, which was surprisingly cool and comfortable, so don't let the Palm Springs heat scare you away. The whole restaurant has such a sexy, colorful, candlelit vibe that somehow feels both lively and intimate. We kept the drinks simple and ordered Hugo Spritzes, which were refreshing and perfectly made for a hot afternoon. What we ordered: * Caramelized Onion Tart (Puff pastry, chive, Comté) - This was recommended by our server and I can see why. It reminded me of French onion soup wrapped in a flaky puff pastry. Rich, savory, and definitely shareable since it is a bit on the heavier side. * Red Thai Curry Mussels (PEI mussels, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, red chile, coconut milk) - WOW. This was hands down my favorite dish. The broth was incredible, rich and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. I was worried the lemongrass might overpower everything, but it was perfectly balanced. It comes with toasted bread and trust me, you'll want every last drop of that broth. I'd honestly come back just for this dish. * Steak Frites - The steak was cooked perfectly medium and was delicious. The fries were crispy and seasoned well, making it a classic done right. * Broccolini - Simple but really good with a nice char that added great flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The atmosphere is one of the best parts..beautiful, moody, and full of personality..but the food absolutely held its own. Service was friendly, the patio was comfortable, and now I completely understand why it's one of Palm Springs' hardest reservations to get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

If you didn't know better you'd think you were in LA in the summer, excepty for the bocce ball. They have an excellent selection of spirits, cocktails. Maybe a little varied, but decently creative. The only thing that gets me is pricing. Sure you pay for everything for decor, glassware and not just spritis, but I recall wondering how they price their drinks becuase not everything is equal or standard mark up when some things aren't house made it's easy to cost out becuase you stop paying for creativity after a certain point. It feels like they took alot of Mr. Lyons business model and use that for pricing rather than a sole entity with their own margins. The service makes up for it, the ambiance makes up for it. The crowd makes up for it. Far less wrinkled and aging snowbirds and retirees circling the drain in their waning days. People dressing up and celebrating, genuine convivialness abounds with most guests. It's not somewhere else trying bring that vibe here, it's pretty authentic. It's separate from nextdoor other than shared bathrooms, so don't be surprised when you feel like your in a different world. Most people who wander between the 2 take pause and awe for a few seconds before their mood shifts to match the room. Not a place to get sloppy and party that way unless it's a closed event. It's a great, classic PS lounge for when you have 2 groups of friends who you can entertain, the steakhouse crowd for dinner and the loungers beforehand. It caught our attention as we had stayed in two different Kimpton Hotels in Seattle prior. We wanted to grab a drink at the Window Bar (not knowing that was its actual name, but the conversation we had with the bartender about that window shining too much light at certain parts of the morning definitely gave me a chuckle in hindsight). We happened to be a bit early since he had not been able to finish setting up shop yet. We went ahead and waited until he was ready without rushing him because we ourselves weren't in any rush at all. Surrounded by a ton of nice interesting artwork, it was a pure joy to enjoy a drink or two in this environment. The bar can be found at the corner on the other side of the hotel concierge in plain sight from such a big space for a lobby, directly left upon entrance through the front. Since it was slow in the morning, we were able to chat it up with the bartender and even explore a bit of experimentation in the form of a particular top secret cocktail that every mixologist knows. I definitely exercised my etiquette and reading the conditions to even suggest it. He couldn't be any nicer about our time with him. So yeah, Christopher H. from 9/9/18, I don't know what you're talking about. I make it a point to visit the bar at any Kimpton location nowadays. I always seem to have a good time. But then again, I can only speak for myself. Parking: Street, unless you're a guest at the hotel. FYI: - Despite the hours on Yelp saying this place is open from 4-10pm, they might open earlier, as we joined in at around 11am or noon. But don't hold me to it. If there's somebody at the bar, you'll need to simply ask if it is open yet.
