It was more of a conversation than a sales transaction. We explained what we were looking for, in terms of deal (money down, monthly payment, etc.). Kyle introduced us to Abood, helped us explain exactly what we were looking for and we were told "No problem. We hear you and will do our best. If it doesn't turn out to be the deal you are looking for, no worries, but we'll call you in the morning." Next day, my wife got the call and the deal we talked about the night before was they deal made happen. No sweat, no stress, no anxiety. We walked in later that afternoon. We talked about the relative merits of various EVs on the market, as well as the importance of their handling characteristics. (SUVs, of course, are like driving refrigerators on wheels and are not serious vehicles that deliver a pure driving experience or elicit driver enjoyment.) The showroom provides wonderful information and context about Lucid's vehicles, which are impressive in almost every way.

Extremely disappointing experience with Douglas Motors VW…read more I truly regret buying my 2021 Volkswagen Atlas from Douglas Motors Corp. Less than a year after purchase, the check engine light came on, and after several visits, I was told there was carbon buildup on the intake valves -- a well-known issue in VW engines. What makes this worse is that when I first brought the car in, they cleared the warning light without doing any real repair, and told me everything was fine. The light came back the very next day. Then, instead of honoring their warranty or taking responsibility, they quoted me $1,400 + tax for a repair that should have been addressed during the warranty period. Communication with their staff was frustrating and inconsistent. Every time I tried to get straight answers, I got different excuses. The dealership seems more interested in pushing sales than standing behind the vehicles they sell. I've already filed a complaint with Volkswagen of America and the BBB because customers deserve honesty, not avoidance and blame-shifting. If you value transparency, accountability, and integrity -- please avoid this dealership. They treat customers like a problem, not a priority.

He let us know they only had one on the lot and offered to show it to us. Unfortunately, we didn't like the color combination. He then checked their database and other lots for inventory that matched our preferences. Juan brought over a senior sales manager, Gio, who confirmed they didn't have the year and spec we were looking for anywhere in their system. He suggested considering a new CR-V instead. While we weren't planning to buy new, we appreciated the suggestion and were open to the conversation. What stood out was that neither Gio nor Juan pressured us or tried to push a sale. They were transparent about the out-the-door pricing and gave us a clear breakdown of the costs; no games or endless "let me check with my manager" delays. In the end, we purchased a brand-new 2026 CR-V from them. The price was fair, but more importantly, we were well taken care of. One thing I didn't like, though it's more about the dealership than Juan or Gio, is that they charge a fee for using a credit card. Covering credit card processing fees is part of running a business, and they shouldn't be passing that cost on to customers
