My elderly parents have been talking about Paczki day coming for weeks. They have bought them for years on Fat Tuesday back in Wisconsin. I looked for a bakery to surprise them with some. I saw Polish Deli had them today. I got up early drove 30 minutes got there way before they opened at 9am and got in line. They line was out the door and people were ordering dozens at a time. I was feeling pretty good. Since they only had maybe 4 dozen of each flavor I figured I would only get one of each and we would split them. Also they were going to run out before everyone else could get some. Got them home and had 3 elderly adults act like it was christmas morning. Cut them open to reveal almost no filling. I walked in to get a snack and I didn't know that just happened to be closing. I found out when I went to the counter. Keep in mind the front door was wide open. The woman up front just couldn't be bothered to ring up one item. I placed the item back. I love my country, it's the land of opportunity. I know business owners who have come from the other side of the world to open 3 to 4 businesses. Who go above and beyond for their customers. I purchased a pate from the Polish Deli. As soon as I got home, I opened the pate. Pasztet and it was old and discolored. I drove back immediately and return it. Instead of apology, the young lady yelled at me that it was a fresh product and she just opened it yesterday. She returned the money to me, but it was not all about the money. It was about the quality of products that they sell. This is not the first time I received something old from them. I also heard from other people that their products are not that fresh. I have been shopping at Polish deli for 17 years and I never had a bad experience before. Last year I bought pączki for tłusty czwartek and they been so dry and not tasty whatsoever. This year I go back and I bought for Easter Polska Kiełbasa and kabanosy and so many other stuff . We ate Sunday and we were sick form the spoiled meat. I had to toss it all the meat next day. This is ridiculous. They need to inspected all meat before they selling anything. Sooner or later somebody is going to report them for that. Customer Service very poor. There were two very stolid Polish women with poor attitudes, not friendly, not smiling . A very sad experience. I don't know if I ever want to go back there. Been here a few times and have made some big purchases with my friend, who has a restaurant business. The owners, husband and wife are have always been very friendly and helpful. They offer a wide range of Polish Products, from beauty products, candy and of course their meats. Though this is a small store front, there are so many items to choose from. You can't find a place like this anywhere in San Diego, so a visit to this Polish Deli is a must when visiting Las Vegas. If you're looking for a meal, they provide made to order sandwiches too. True Polish Deli! A taste of Poland in Las Vegas. I went there for the first time over the holiday season and got everything I wanted and more. I was able to have the Polish holiday meals that I had growing up! The owners/workers were all so friendly. I thank them for all they do and their hard work! I will continue to go to the deli! Been craving good non supermarket kielbasa for awhile, apparently this is the go to place here in the valley. Made the trip today, small store with a good selection of canned and packaged goods. Their refrigerator cases had a nice selection of pierogi and other yummies. The deli case was packed as well. Kielbasa selection was small but the kielbasa was fresh. (Tasted it in the car on the way home). They also had nice Polish rye bread. So all in all a good place for some authentic Polish food... I had to drive 4 hrs to Palm Springs, as the # 1 request from my gf was to get Polish Pierogi's cheese & the meat stuffed. They are in the freezer & the best ever! I was able to drive the 4 hrs with them frozen, as the lady said it could stay frozen for up to 4 hrs! Kept them in the AC on the floor of the car! They were just fine & good as ever! My gf is Polish so she likes all that good Polish stuff. I ended up loving that store, the younger girl & her Mom were so incredibly KIND..I ended up spending over $80 for a lot of stuff. Me and some other out of town tourist visited to the Polish Deli to get our fix of paczki(polish Donut) on Fat Tuesday. Its a big thing in the Detroit area as festivals are held around it. The donuts were delicious. I wish I could try the other items at the store. We are trying out new casino hotels and some have kitchens in them. What Just Happened!! On December 1st 2022 I stopped in at the Polish Deli and purchased a few items including a $3.50 bottle of Russian mustard. I checked the expiration date but could not make it out because I wear glasses it was too small to read. When I returned home I put the items away. Only days later I needed the mustard so I had to use a magnifying glass to verify the date it was stamped Oct. 2022. No problem I still had the receipt and would ask for a replacement or a refund. I asked a person (who shall remain anonymous) to make the exchange for me Dec. 7th. As the person entered the store he immediately let them ( mom,pop & daughter-in-law) know that the mustard was expired. The male owner was asked in Polish by the daughter-in-law to retrieve another bottle but when the owner kept putting back every bottle of mustard until finally finding one and exchanging it for the expired one. The person was in his car and thought to double check the expiration date only to see that it was stamped 12/2022. He turned the car around and drove back to the Polish Deli. He was told by the owners that it was still good and that he was stupid by the elder female owner. The person I sent to make the exchange was stunned and shocked by the owners response. Rather than them apologizing, they insulted him. After getting a refund I was astounded by the aggressive verbal attack and the unwillingness to please a paying customer. The Polish Deli may be the only store in town to sell Polish food but I as a fellow Polish person will not be patronizing this business again. When is it alright for an owner of a store to ridicule a customer by calling them stupid for buying an expired item on their store shelf. These owners are not friendly and should take anger management classes and more importantly take stock of their expired inventory. Don't shop here unless you want to be insulted. I have been to the Polish Deli twice and I got the same thing twice. It's a Friday in Lent and my wife observes meatless Fridays. What to make. I was coming from Big 5 Sporting Goods and when I saw the Polish Deli, I got over to the right lane and turned in here. A quick perusal of the freezer case and I found the pierogis. I chose the potato cheese because I'm not fond of the other flavors. I have never had one of the fruit flavored ones, but I'm sure they'd be OK for dessert especially deep fried. There is a nice selection of Polish sausages on the counter behind. I need to stop back and get some of their kielbasa. It looks so much better than the stuff you see in grocery stores. Service was pleasant and quick. The shop is small and questions are answered very politely. As a side note, this brand of pierogi, Alexandra's, was quite good. Some fried onions in lots of butter and the pierogis baked for awhile, made a great meal. I need to stop in here more often. read more

Something has happened at Polish Deli. I have been a customer here for 9 years and this family run business offered great Polish food and imported items. On my last visit it was very different! The husband & wife owners were not present. There were instead two very stolid Polish women with poor attitudes and not very helpful. I bought some fresh kishka sausage. When I arrived home I opened my bag to the foul odor of spoiled meat. I had to toss it. Then I tried my fresh poppyseed roll and it was stale so had to toss it as well. Luckily the smoked kielbasa was ok as well as the frozen Alexandria's pierogis. Because of this experience I can no longer depend on the Polish Deli. Loaf of frozen bread was 6.99. There was bunch of pigeons hanging out right outside their store. Their poop might have pathogens that could make people sick if inhaled. I walked into the store in my military uniform and the ladies behind the counter gave me very strange looks that made me feel uncomfortable. We've been to countless European delis and this is by far the best one in Las Vegas and Henderson. Their meat and cheese in the case is always fresh. They order straight from Chicago where they're originally from. The prices are awesome, too. We also love all the sweets, jellies, drinks, and frozen food they have. The pierogis are amazing! We were talking about the foods we grew up on and Kielbasa and Saurkraut came up. So we looked online for a good "REAL" Polish meat market and found "POLISH DELI"! With the Jones Market being just a hop, skip, and jump away, I'm not entirely sure how this place stays in business. I mistakenly thought the name "Deli" indicated that they made sandwiches, but sadly they only sell the components to make sandwiches yourself. Not a big deal on it's own. But nearly all of their merchandize is identical to what you can find at Jones Market, and often at a better price. Plus JM has way more selection, as well as ready-made foods. This small store reminds me of the "Russian store" offered in San Antonio- very limited, with a big part of the appeal being the frozen pirogies. The store is clean, organized, and well-lit. But again, the merchandize can be found elsewhere- even the frozen pirogies can be found at Sprouts, same brand, too, though not quite so many varieties/flavors. There may be a small thing or two this store has that others do not- a specific variety of jam, or maybe a particular brand, but by and large this store does not seem to have anything unique to offer. Even after reading reviews here, I was a little underwhelmed- and browsing their meat case, it was unclear which of their sausages was the "amazing polish sausage". Might come back because it's so close, but will likely continue patronizing JM as it's only a mile or so down the road. read more
