Thank you Billy for doing my bridal manicure nails!! Thank you Billy and Lisa for finding the color I was looking for. I wanted something shiny and see through with a touch of opal colors. I was surprised they had the color, and I'm so grateful! Literally this is my go to nail look for all occasions, but they made my experience worthwhile for my wedding day. Thank you for doing such a great job! Although Billy I admire your shape and technique, my cuticles weren't pushed up at all on my nail, and the polish and dip powder was not laid high enough against my cuticles , it was very low on my index fingers the day of, therefore I knew and am seeing now that it would grow out fast. People were telling me that your technique and style of doing nails will never cause my nails to break, and while my nails are sturdy, that isn't my problem.. it looks like I need to replace them hardly after a week, they have grown out, and that is because again, the polish and drip powder was not laid high enough or touching my cuticles, the dead skin of my cuticles were not removed so of course it only lasted for a week, and the dip powder makes me notice a need for a fill. The day of my wedding, it looked grown out a bit because of the cuticle situation, and someone asked me if I had press ons because it looked like it. Wow.

My first time here and definitely my last. When I told her my nails were wayyy to thick and chunky she told me that it wasn't her fault it was because my nails were already thick to begin with. Ummm no... I had photos of my nails when I walked in, she seemed to get upset and got a man that works there to "fix" my nails. Sadly they didn't look much better. Don't go here if you want a decent set of nails.
I was a walk-in on a Sunday. My boyfriend really wanted me to get my nails done , so I was grateful for them to be open on a Sunday before 11am. Only two people were working, with three clients there. They were switching off between the three of us. And the work unfortunately shows. I got a full set. Didn't know they use dip - disliked. Personal preference I think it's unsanitary. They didn't do any cuticle care for my nails. And in the picture, my nails aren't grown out too much, they just didn't apply the acrylic to my cuticle.. Nails are thick and already broke. They used stickers for the design but they came off the 2nd day after getting. And it's been a week since and one nail broke already. Super unfortunate.
Stopped in with no appointment (did call first) and they got both me and my daughter in. Just two there working there at the time. They were pleasant and worked quickly. Everything was fairly clean and the work was good. The only issue was the price list they handed me must have been severely out of date. So just confirm pricing before they do the work. My $35 dollar basic mani pedi with gel manicure was actually $50. My daughters gel mani with special design was $45. My mani pedi was still priced better than other spots but just surprised. I didn't see any pricing anywhere else in the place.
Not quite a 5 star but pretty close. The place is located off Beach and La Habra, sandwiched between Taco Nazo and 7-Eleven... near the Costco. My old manicurist went MIA so my friend and i went looking for a new place. Polish Mi had good reviews so my friend had Emily do her nails and was very pleased. I made an appointment with Emily and was pleased with her service. My gel manicure was $32 before tip, and I felt it was the going rate for that service. My nails were not perfect, but I will give Emily another try. I'll speak up on what I did not like my first time, and, I'll also give her a try with a pedicure. Also, they are short staffed. It could be they are a small store, so walk up may not be the best option. Otherwise, no real complaint on my first experience.
The employees weren't rude to me when I was there~ if anything they were very appreciative that I waited a bit. They were busy & I could clearly see that, so It didn't bother me to wait. I got the luxury pedicure with gel (extra $10), so it costed $42. The main reason I got it was for the callous remover & 10 minute massage, but she was just like rubbing and touching my legs, not massaging. Honestly not what I expected... The pedicure wasn't the worst. I just truly don't think I got my money's worth. After I left the salon; the skin around my toes were red & a little irritated and I honestly didn't try to think too much of it, because I saw her use sanitized tools. My big toe nails are a little uneven & I don't feel like my cuticles were taken care of properly. The cuticles around my toe nails are cracked and uneven & even after I've moisturized my feet. On top of that, for whatever reason, my feet are peeling now. I don't think it's something super serious, it could just be the products they used & my skin having a reaction to it.... but this is my personal experience. I really wanted it to work considering it's a local shop & a lot of my homegirls go here. But in my personal experience, you can most definitely get a more high quality "luxury" pedicure somewhere else & for maybe even cheaper...
I am fairly new to the area, and decided to try Polish Mi for my pedicure and full set. I haven't gotten a full set in years, but let me say I made a great choice with choosing Polish Mi as my nail place. They did an awesome job with my full set, and have returned for my fill. The man did the best job because he did them exhume I wanted them. I asked for a short , thin and natural full set . I am definitely going to keep coming ! And prices are affordable, and it's very clean ..Definitely recommended..
They actually ended up becoming my go to for my nails! They get the shape every time and great for simple designs. They always make time for me when I call in and they were so efficiently. As you get to know them more with each visit they are the sweetest couple running this business. I love the music as well!!
I just moved to this area and came across this nail salon. I walked in and was greeted by Tina and Billy. I'm usually very hesitant trying new places out for acrylics, but I was absolutely impressed and happy with Billy's work on my nails. He consistently asked me every step of the way if I liked it and he also accommodated what I asked for. This place is a MUST if you want great service and if you want to leave actually liking what you asked for. Definitely found my new go-to place for my nails!

Do not recommend this place. I went to get my gel dip off. The lady there doesn't seem like she does nails often. She filed the gel off layer by layer and in between had me dip my fingertips in pure acetone for 10 min at a time. My skin was crying. After almost an hour I gave up. I left prior to getting all the gel off. This place looks unsanitary too. She clipped my nails with a rusty nail clipper. read more

Came here about four weeks ago and the service was absolutely incredible! My nails haven't lifted at all! I have been nail salon hopping for years trying to find the best services and the best prices and I think I finally found my place. Keep up this kind of service and you will have a customer for life! We love polish MI. Took us in last minute, gave us amazing service, and are meticulous in their craft. U guys r truly a gem. They do clear dip and then gel on top to make it last longer without the mess of colored dip powder. See u guys in 4 weeks! read more

Hard to find a local nail salon. Brought my pops to get his pedicure and the technician was very kind, patient and made him feel comfortable with good conversation. We are making it a regular visit for him. Husband and wife owned, good quality work and they offer the convenience of Zelle. read more

So happy I tried this place out! My sister-in-law and I drove all over trying to find a nail salon that would take walk-ins and gave Polish MI a try. We both got mani pedis and dipped nails. The guy who does the nail dip is truly talented and really takes care to give your nails a good shape! The dip was sanded perfectly smooth too!! He had over 30 years of experience and you can tell he's really perfected his craft and technique. No damage to the skin around my nail at all! Definitely recommend this place, super happy with our nails! read more

I gave this place a try because one of my co workers recommended this nail place. After selecting one of the dip powders (a Pretty pink/ translucent color) I Noticed that the color was way off, but since it's was the first coat, I gave it a benefit of a doubt. After the nail tech finished with the 3rd coat the color looked nothing like that samples I chose from. Never mind the color, when I left the nail salon I noticed that all of my nails have Ali bubbles and it's doesn't look pretty at all! For a $35 nail set? I don't mind paying for the price if it's done correctly! But now I'm stuck with a ugly color that didn't match what I asked for and nails full of bubbles :/ read more

My daughter brought me here as my Christmas present and I have to say I will only come here in the future. Billy not only did a fantastic job, he used a powder on my nails before using acrylic when I asked what the powder was he told me it was 'dip'. He said he uses it because it makes it so the nails do not lift and it's healthier for me not to have the acrylic on my nails. Billy and Tina are super friendly and helpful. I will be back and strongly recommend this establishment!!! read more

I've been going to Polish Mi for a little over 4 months. This is my official Nail Spot. My to go girl is Sunny, she does such a great job with my nails. But keeps me coming is the great service and of course the quality of their nails. Unlike many nail spots, for some reason the request for short nails seems like such inconvenience. I assume for one it takes a more time to file etc. Not here, Sunny understands that my request for short nails is because I have an infant and I can't have them to long. I love the shape and size she leaves my nails every time. Perfect size especially being around my infant. I just had to post a review for Polish Mi because this last time, I just loved how my nails came out. My girl Sunny did the cat eye look and they look amazing. I was just amazed by the process of the design. I definitely recommend Polish Mi. These ladies take their work seriously and want their customers to be happy and satisfied. Hi all. I'm giving a shoutout to PolishMi for an amazing job on my nails for my vacation these past few weeks. My bestie Michelle C. and I have actually been going to this salon for about 4-5 months now and they always do an excellent job! (She left a review a few months ago, and I've included a picture of her nails from that time at the end of my collection.) I absolutely LOVED my custom nails for my Bahamas cruise and really appreciated them accommodating my wants and needs so expertly. Emily did an amazing job! All the other ladies there (I don't know all their names, sorry) do a great job also. I've gotten a broken nail fixed by Sunny and the quiet lady with the glasses always does an excellent job on my pedicures. (Picture attached, sort of.) Definitely check this place out and let them know you heard it from me! (I've included pics of my normal everyday nails too. Last picture has their business card.) I'm going to have to take these off soon for work so it'll be a sad day, but it's always a good time at this place. Looking forward to some fresh nails! read more

I love my new manicure! Emily expertly applied powder and then topped it with gel coat for extra shine. It'll just be a fill next time after she buffs off gel topcoat rather than that whole foil wrap, scrape, acetone process. read more

I went in for an appointment and a lady with no mask on was sitting there with a smug face. I asked if they require masks and I was told no. That she is sitting 6 feet from another client. She is NOT 6 feet from the person doing her toes and was not 2 feet from me. The mask the nail tech is wearing is almost useless if she lets the customer breathe on her. The Karen lady did pull her mask up off her neck when I said something - not exactly useful. They have zero guidelines in place and I will report them. read more

Not sure, we both got Gel Manicure at $23.00 and Pedicure at $18.00.

Hi Bibiana. For a gel mani is $22, and $16 for a regular pedi.
