This place was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad we tried it. Such cute interior being…read morea deli/restaurant/store with a cozy and informal setting. I didn't know they served beer and wine, which was nice to have with your sandwich. I wanted to try the Muffaletta. I brought my own gluten-free bread bun and the other person with me ordered the same sandwich but with the bread; and they truly enjoyed it as well. My only issue with the sandwich is that the Portella mushrooms took away from it, rather than enhancing the flavor. Overall, good experience, decent service, I will definitely be back to try more items off the menu and check out their shop.

Great summer time or anytime vibe especially when the sunshine and you out trying to catch a vibe

After peering in and seeing people in there I realized that it was still open for business! The menu is entirely on the wall and you order and pay at the cash. Lots of combo options including whole or half sandwiches plus soup and/salad combos. Unfortunately all combos came with a drink and I would have preferred just tap water and maybe a slightly lower price. I got whole chicken sandwich plus garden salad and a Diet Pepsi for about $20. Feels a bit pricey for Windsor. Sandwich wasn't bad but a bit too much bread for me. I could have been fine with smaller surface area but piled up a tad thicker. Chicken was moist and sauce and the cheese and roasted peppers went well with it. Salad was fine except the balsamic was overpowering. Flavour was too strong or maybe there was just too much dressing. I wasn't floored but it was ok. I'd go back to try a different flavour.

Prices were a little high for the portion sizes, but overall happy we stopped here and would go back for a quick, delicious bite.

I have been a big fan of corned beef and pastrami for years but my go to is on the other side of the city not to far from Dearborn, there is a couple other delis in eastern market area, one I like and the other I think is outrageous and the people there are rude, well today I was in the mood for a good corned beef on rye, got looking at a few apps I have and I come across Champs which is in Gratiot Central market where I go to buy certain meats to grill and smoke, but I never have gone there to buy prepared food, well I'll tell you it was Very Good ! The place is simple ,it is clean, they have a cool old Ford truck in there well the have half of it but none the a nice place , and the lady that waited on me was very cool, I decided I wanted Pastrami Indian it was excellent the , it was not greasy which is what I like to see it was heated just right and got slaw on it and my bread wasn't a soggy mess, I thought the price point was very good for my sandwich which also came with 2 pickles that were good and my drink, And the info I read is this is a small business this isn't corporate owned this is someone or family doing it cause they love please try support small business they need it now more than ever , I thought it was very good I hope you do as well.
