The people at this dental office were all very friendly and I rarely had to wait long to get in for…read moreteeth cleanings, but my experience with Dr. Machado in getting a replacement bridge was outrageous. I chose to proactively replace my bridge since it was 25 yrs old and there were signs of mild decay underneath. The replacement took Dr. Machado five attempts (you read that correctly- FIVE attempts) until she was able to provide me with a passable replacement bridge. Which translated into many trips to and from her office between July and November. Not surprisingly, it was always the fault of the lab. You might wonder how I could have possibly endured going back so many times. At the time, I was overwhelmed with taking care of a very sick family member and I didn't have the bandwidth to deal with this fiasco on top of everything. I just crossed my fingers and hoped that the next visit would be "the last one." Note that there was no mention of reimbursing me for my time and gas expenditure... until I brought it up. The good news is that I was eventually reimbursed for time & gas at my last visit to the office, after a teeth cleaning, when I explained all this to someone at the front desk. When I presented my teeth-cleaning bill to her, she made an executive decision to take it from me and tell me it was taken care of. I'm sorry that I didn't note the name of this true professional. The worst part of this whole ridiculous experience is that despite all the stress & frustration, I still have a less-than-perfect-fitting bridge. Food gathers under the lingual side of the bridge after each meal. Lovely, right? I recently considered requesting a full reimbursement from Dr. Machado for the entire process so I could take my ill-fitted bridge to another dental office and have it completely redone. However, after reading other reviews, I realized that I would NEVER get my money back from this dental group. Fair, ethical, and capable, they are not.

I was shocked to receive a surprise collection notice for a balance I had no idea was heading to…read morecollections. When I called the office to ask why I never received a final warning, their response was that I had 'opened an email' back in May. That email was not a final notice--it was a generic, automated 'New Statement' that simply said I had 30 days to view my bill online. It contained zero mention of being past due, zero mention of an impending deadline, and absolutely zero mention of debt collection or credit damage. I paid the balance to stop the credit hit, but I was forced to pay an extra collection fee because of their lack of clear communication. When I called back to ask if they would help with that extra fee since I never received a proper warning, they flatly refused and just repeated that I had opened the automated email. Future patients: Do not assume this office will call you, mail you, or explicitly warn you before sending your balance to collections. A generic e-statement is the only heads-up you will get. Check your balance constantly. This experience clearly deserves 1 star.

I called Alexander Dental and explained the situation. Dr. Alexander explained they had a digital scanner that could scan the surface of the tooth area and upload the file for a the tooth to be made and this would greatly decrease the time between the first visit and the second visit so it could all be done while i was in Florida. True to his word he was able to scan the tooth on Thursday and by the following Wednesday, just two days before Christmas I had the the new tooth and a cleaning. His office staff (lead by his his lovely and attractive wife) were very helpful and friendly. Dr Alexander was attentive even though he was very busy (everyone getting perfect teeth for their Christmas photos i guess) and made sure I understood exactly what was going on and answered all my questions. The office is modern and professional and I couldn't have been happier. He is also a former marine and since my son is in the Navy that doesn't hurt. I would definitely recommend Alexander Dental.

There, now look me up …read more They charged me for a deep cleaning that I didn't need which was $800 before I got my braces on by someone else.... now they want to do excessive amounts of xrays. Im not okay with getting that many and they refused to just gather few simple ones. I drove over an hour at 730 in the morning just for them to be rude and not willing to work with the patient who simply doesn't want 1000 xrays. All I needed was a simple cleaning. Like I've gotten a hundred times at other places. I would never recommend this office and im not sure why I was so dumb to actually try and give them a second chance... I gave them my orthodontist before hand but for some reason they did not call him to get my xrays.. yall may be OK with that many xrays but I AM NOT. And then they just wanna recommend another expensive ass deep cleaning that I DONT NEED to pay for their rent and employees paychecks GTFOH. I have nearly perfect teeth. No nasty build up or cavities galore with crowns or nroidges bridges. I have none of that. They wanna create it by deep cleaning and giving you periodontal disease when you never were going down that road. THEY wanna max out your insurance and then when you dont it they want you to sign on their wack ass plan. Don't do it.

Mill Creek Dental Care somehow manages to make going to the dentist a genuinely pleasant…read moreexperience--which feels like a small miracle. The hygienists are energetic, friendly, and incredibly kind. They strike the perfect balance between professional and personable, and they clearly care about patient comfort. I have a sensitivity to the sound of the water pick when they're cleaning my back teeth (for me it's basically nails on a chalkboard), and without hesitation they offer ear plugs. That small act of empathy goes a long way and makes a huge difference. I've also had a couple of fillings done over the past year. I won't pretend I enjoy needles, numbing, or drilling--because who does?--but the team kept me calm, didn't overwhelm me, and made sure I stayed as comfortable as possible throughout the process. If you're looking for a dental office that's skilled, compassionate, and understands that dental anxiety is very real, Mill Creek Dental Care is an easy recommendation. Even the parts I normally dread were handled with care (and ear plugs).

Very disappointing experience. I used the text services to…read moresubmit all my new patient info, and they told me my insurance was accepted. During my visit, I had a cleaning and X-rays. Front desk people were not very welcoming, and you could tell they were not happy to be there. Several days later, I received my bill, and it was $402 and had a note that the insurance was not accepted. After calling them, they told me they made a mistake with my coverage but told me I still had to pay the entire $402. I've never been to a dentist that charged that much for a cleaning and X-ray. I have the texts to prove they told me this would be covered, but they still refused to help; the only advice they could give was to take it up with my insurance.
