This is a really cool food hall. It's a bit smaller than the other location in Midtown but it's nice to have a place like this in Dunwoody. They have really good food options. I tried the chicken & waffles from Delilah's. A customer in line raved about it so I had to try it. I wasn't blown away but it was good. This comment is for Politan Row at the perimeter location. PLEASE FIX THE ENTRANCE DOOR SO THAT IT CLOSES BY ITSELF. There is no need to rely on customers to close the door behind themselves. It was freezing on January 25th and no one was closing the door behind themselves despite the sign on the door. How much money does it take to modify the door so that it closes automatically after someone opens it. read more

The service and food was excellent. The manager by the name of Reggie, came and made sure we were all set with our food. Note 1: This is where the old Hall at Ashford Lane was. I think at the time of this review they've been open longer than The Hall was. Note 2: This is an actual food court. My dining experience applies only to the Tandoori Pizza and Wing Company unless explicitly noted or obvious. The interior remains pretty upscale and I'd call this the fanciest food court in America, at least in my limited experience. While there are a number of options for food, I settled on Tandoori Pizza and Wing Company. I got the sampler plate, which was a half Naan Pizza, 4 Wings, Fries, and a can of Soda. I wanted the Sausage Pizza, but they ran out of sausage. There were only two people working in this microkitchen, which felt a bit light. The two people there felt overworked and the time to get my order suffered as a result. On the other hand, food was super fresh. And by that, I mean it burned the crap out of my mouth. Tandoori Pizza and Wing Company showcased some sort of trophy for their wings. I'm not sure if that's legitimate, but they were very good. Crispy wings and with good size, they're definitely solid. These are a winner. The Masala Fries I got were... middling. They're potato wedges and felt overcooked and underseasoned. There was some crunch to them and that was the primary flavor. The Naan Pizza I got was Chicken 65 Pizza. It's not a large piece, which makes sense for the sampler, but it's about two small slices worth. Flavor wise, this was delightful! On the other hand, it packed the heat. Which brings me to my personal gripe with Politan Row. They only serve canned drinks and alcoholic beverages. No soda fountains to be had anywhere. Which means when you get spicy Indian food and only have 12 ounces of drink, bad times are ahead. That, and I paid 26 dollars for the sampler platter I got. That doesn't include the tip. Politan Row is not cheap but Tandoori Pizza and Wing Company was nice. The lack of drinks sort of make you want to take this home instead, but the atmosphere wants you to stay. I visited Pretty Little Tacos at Politan Row a few weeks ago with a friend and we both ordered the birria tacos. I ordered the birria steak taco and she ordered the birria vegan taco. First of all, the price per taco was affordable! Secondly, our tacos had tender meat inside and they were cooked to perfection. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful to us. TIP: WATER STATION IS IN THE BACK WHERE THE DISH DROP IS. We didn't know this since it's hidden which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. This place is very cute and has a wide variety of options to choose from. I liked that it wasn't too busy. Parking is a little rough with the gym being right next to it but there's a parking deck and you can walk over. I got shrimp spring rolls, crab Rangoons, pork banh mi, and tostones(green plantains). I would suggest trying many small dishes from different places. The spring rolls, rangoons and banh mi tasted good! I was surprised with how many Rangoons we got, 6 pieces and they weren't small. The tostones were okay, they were a little too hard. All of these dishes fed my friend and I and we were full by the time we ate everything. I would recommend checking out this place. I saw people with their laptops and it is definitely a good environment to study or get work done. read more

A group of 6 of us stopped in on the Saturday just after they opened and had a much better experience than the previous "Hall at Ashford Lane". They took down some walls and made the overall space more open and free flowing. There are 10 vendors inside and it is setup like a typical food hall where each vendor handles their own specific menu. We really loved the variety of food options and we all tried many different items. The food was pretty good overall. But there were a few recommendations/observations: 1. The small hummus plate from Sheesh had a bunch of hummus (which is great) but not enough of the pita pieces. I also felt the hummus was really oily and really didn't have much flavor overall. 2. I had the 2 meat plate from Smoke House Q with smoked chicken and brisket, brisket chili, and Mac/cheese. Overall the flavors were great but felt the temperature of the food was lacking, would've been more enjoyable if hotter. 3. The street corn from Pretty Little Tacos wasn't like any other version I have had, and not in a good way. Normally the corn is fresh, yellow, juicy, and tender. This version, however, was cooked (almost al dente) and not juicy at all. The tajin and queso fresco was just fine but overall we didn't enjoy it and only had a couple bites before giving up on it. 4. Churros were yummy and served with whipped cream (would have preferred it served with chocolate sauce) 5. I personally didn't try the chicken and waffles but they looked deliciou It did look like there was an option for traditional silverware but we were all immediately offered the disposable option when ordering at different vendors. I'm still uncertain on the bussing of your own table. There is a big sign in the back that states "dish drop off" and I did see some other tables take their own but there were also staff members roaming and taking plates/wiping tables. read more

I came by today with my bestie who works in the area and we were craving Pho. We ordered vegetarian PHO, and shrimp PHO and an order of crab Rangoon and also one of the Bing sandwiches ( however you call it . I'm a foodie so I'll try to keep it simple and give you the best honest opinion. Pho has fresh, nicely cut veggies. The shrimp was clean, and pretty, as far as the overall flavor of the broth it has none so if you're looking for that good kick, flavor this wouldn't be the best option. The sandwhich bread was so so hard. It didn't taste good, and it wasn't really easy to eat. As soon as we received the order the bread was so hard. We ended up taking it to go and thought to warm it up but after that it's just mushy and not good, overall not good choice. Crab Rangoon is too sweet, and creamy. Not the right texture or amount, I don't prefer this shape ratio to the filling. Not the best. Not my favorite spot! read more

What a delightful place! We started out at the bar where Carlton prepared fantastic drinks. I had a Hurricane and my friend had a Mimosa. Both were deliciously refreshed. As we walked around the10 food stations, we had a hard time deciding. The pho looked so comforting, a steamy bowl of broth, noodles, beef and toppings. So did Delilah's Soul Food plates. I ended up with a chicken shrimp pineapple bowl served with a side of fried rice. Tasty bites of shrimp, chicken, peppers & onions and of course pineapple. Very tasty. My friend stopped at Delilah's food Mac n cheese and then went on to the Mediterranean restaurant for eggplant egg rolls. The place is like a huge living room with sofas & chairs as well as tables for any size group. So comfortable to sit, eat, chat and people watch. There is a sit down Cuban restaurant in the back and my friend had to get the tres Leche dessert which was so good. I know we'll be back. There were so many places to check out. My husband went to Politan Row for lunch. The vibe is pretty cool and because it is a food hall there is a lot of selection. Parking is convenient and there's plenty of seating. My husband ordered a poke bowl and I ordered some Greek food. We were pleased with the service, cleanliness, and the taste of our orders. This place is absolutely fabulous. Upscale food court with 2 full service bars. Food selections are plentiful...soul food, barbecue, Thai, Greek, pizza, tacos, and few others that I can't recall. It's definitely the adult version of hanging out at the mall with friends. There's high top tables, regular tables, and couches available. But the drinks at Bar Politan were a joke--super unfriendly service and people that don't know how to make the drinks they offer--honestly the worst sazerac I've ever had. We thought she'd misheard us and given us a Manhattan.. complete with a cherry. Luckily Okay Anny's drinks were excellent--service and vibe all on fire. The food is outstanding! I've had an experience where the bar in the back claimed i haven't tipped enough, saying "this is a tipped based service" when I ALWAYS tip 15%-20%. Proceeded to tell me how they have no idea who made the initial claim about the money. By the way I fill up a booth here every time I come with polite and thirsty friends. The next claim was "if you have a problem with service, let's us know instead of not tipping" an absolutely absurd claim! We've had drinks made by every bartender in the facility and will politely ask for a drink to be made by a certain person OR if the server doesn't come by and we want a drink, we will go up and order it. I don't know why they take this as disrespect but....to each their own. I came across this location on Facebook several weeks ago and decided to stop by while in Dunwoody. This food hall concept is more upscale. The seating area is located in the middle and surrounded by the various restaurants and bars to choose from. There is a good variety of food vendors; Italian, BBQ, Thai, tacos, southern food, pizzas and wings, ramen and Cuban. I ordered ribs and Brunswick stew, which were well-seasoned and a good serving portion for the price. I ordered an Old Fashioned cocktail from the Politan Bar which was fantastic.
