Pollard Jeep's service department as a whole was extremely disappointing. From leaving voicemails that were never followed up with to the horribly rude men in the service department my family will be sending our business elsewhere in the future. It is very sad to see as we had purchased a car from them and the sales department wasn't as horrible. Employees in services though were extremely disrespectful, rude, and condescending to my daughter who had to drop off her car after they neglected to respond to her voicemails when she called inquiring an appointment for her car. They also forgot to ask the shuttle service to pick her up from work while servicing her vehicle. I give them one start as the shuttle was okay, but I don't think it can get much worse than what we experienced with Pollard Jeeps Service departments customer service. read more

I keep coming back to Pollard Jeep because they have great customer service and do a fantastic job taking care of my car! Mike Cordone has helped me with some tough issues. When I originally bought my car (at a different Jeep dealership), I did not realize I was sold a car with a defective oil gasket. So my oil was slowly leaking out without my knowledge, which resulted in my engine being ruined. Mike and his coworkers were able to figure out the issue quick. They made sure my engine was replaced with a brand new engine at no cost to me, and that my rental car was completely taken care of. Great folks and business! My trip to Pollard started off well enough: they installed a new FOB in my Cherokee for $65 (the FOB cost another $50). Basic stuff. Within a couple weeks the FOB stopped working properly, and would go through spurts where it sent the signal (you can hear the click) but never locked or unlocked the doors. Worse yet, when it wouldn't lock or unlock with the FOB, I couldn't do it manually with the door's locking mechanism either. Add to the fact that I use my car all day for work and live in a high-theft neighborhood and this gets to be a legitimate problem. I visited Pollard and asked that they take a look, to which the rep (who was quite nice) said they could but it would cost $130. I asked how a company could have me pay to install a new FOB, have it stop working within a couple weeks, and then I have to pay for them to take a look at what they might have done wrong..? I own a business and if a customer had a problem with our product that may have been caused by our staff, we wouldn't charge them to address their issue - we would do everything we could to fix it since it was clearly related to our services. I emailed Pollard weeks ago and they never thought it was important enough to respond, so now I get in and out of my car each hour wondering if I'll have to manually walk around and lock all the doors - and hope that I don't forget one of them one of the dozen times this error occurs. What happened to guaranteed work? The rep was a nice guy, sure, but the company as a whole feels rather untrustworthy. read more

The Jeep was for our son that attends The University of Colorado and we are in New Jersey. Justin made the deal happen quickly and professionally without us even being there. He also did some add-ons for us that were also done quickly. Justin was knowledgable in all areas of the dealership and showed our son all the car features when he picked it up. Really terrible service from the warranty guys and the parts department. If you buy a jeep from Pollard don't get their warranty or do anything remotely associated with their service/part department. They don't honor their warranties and don't install parts correctly. You WILL pay for this. Andy only helped when I came into the dealership in person. We bought our Jeep Wrangler at Pollard a few years ago (from a salesman named Adair who is unfortunately no longer at this location- he was amazing). They have been reliable and take good care of our car, however their service department is really lacking. While I realize this isn't a "Lexus" or "BMW" dealership, I feel like it's a very simple and common courtesy to at the very least wash your car when brought in for a service check. I find it very disappointing that Pollard does not do this, as it comes across as a lack of care for the customer relationship. Their explanation is a lack of space, which I think is a poor excuse seeing as how this WAS a courtesy extended to us every time we came in for the first couple of years when Adair was present, but has since been done away with. We even made a suggestion to strike up a deal with a local car wash to get a discounted (if not free) wash if they don't feel they're able to do it at the dealership, and we were laughed at. I guess Pollard just does not care to foster good, genuine customer relationships anymore. read more

Despite having a wonderful sales experience with Gabe, who is very professional and a great guy, my transmission started making awful sounds about a month after I bought it (used). I had already bought a warranty, so I took the car back to Pollard to get serviced. They have had my car for 3 and a half weeks now. It took them 15 days just to get someone from my warranty to come look at my car, and that was 10 days ago now and nothing else has been done. They don't seem to be on it at all. I have to continually call them just to get any updates and whenever I am promised a call back from they customer service rep (Lynette), the call never comes. At this point, I have no idea when I will get my car back, which is hugely problematic as I live in Longmont and work in Denver. Gabe did lend me a loaner car for two weeks, but then needed it back so I have been without a car for going on two weeks right now with no end in sight. I will never take my car back to be serviced at Pollard ever again after this. I just hope I eventually get my car back and that it is properly fixed when I do. read more

Recently bought a used car from Pollard. I worked with Monte, and couldn't have had a better experience! As a 22 year old recent college grad, a car dealership is not a place I frequent. I went in on a whim a few weeks ago and met Monte who asked what I was looking for. I told him what I wanted and what my budget was, and he started giving me options. He took me through the lot showing different cars (new and used) both at, above, and below my price point, basically giving me all of my option. After about 10 minutes, I saw a car and fell in love with. Monte got me a price point and I realized it was over my budget. I decided to test drive a new car (at my price range) just to get all my options. I decided to go home and talk over my budget, and think about what I wanted. I went back the next day, and spoke to Monte again. I told him how far I could push my budget, and he worked with me to really try and get the car I wanted. Eventually we came to an agreement, and I put the deposit down that day! It was a Saturday, and Monte said he'd have it cleaned up and ready to go by Monday. He also asked if I wanted to test drive it and stupidly I forgot my license, so he let me stepdad drive it while I passengered back to our home in north Boulder while I collected my license and got to drive it back to the lot! This was way more than he really needed to do. The car was missing the step up (and because it's lifted with big wheels, it's a must), and we agreed upon the ones I liked and he decided to include it in our final agreed upon price. I went back Monday to pick it up and it was waiting out front, cleaned and ready! Monte had all the paperwork I needed ready and even introduced me to the guy from their off-road department who gave me information about the lift, the soft top, the bumper addition, and the jack to change the tires. The whole experience was a breeze. He told me to call if I had any other problems. Later when I got home I realized there was a chip in the windscreen, and I called Monte who said they would take care of it when I came in to have my step installed! Overwhelmed with the whole experience. Never felt like I was asking stupid questions or being ripped off. The car also comes with two free oil checks at the Pollard location. Came to get NEW TIRES that I was promised after being put through the run around for MONTHS. Made an APPOINTMENT for 10 AM. Here is it 11:30 and they haven't even started, but the guy at the front desk lied to me and said they have...I've been watching them and they have not. I'm getting 4 tires changed and just got an estimate of 45 MORE minutes. This is nothing major. I could change them faster myself. It should NOT take 2 hours when I made an APPOINTMENT. Bad Service Manager. I was told when I purchased my 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk that I would get 4 free oil changes. I've used 3 and went in today to get my 4th. I was told my time expired July 31st. I've owned the car for 2 1/2 years. My car was almost 2 months late for delivery from when I was told it would be delivered and that's why they gave me 2 extra "free" oil changes. I was never told the offer would expire. I drove 30 miles to get there and asked the service writer to see if the manager would honor the oil change since I wasn't made aware of any expiration. 15 minutes of waiting later, the service writer said "no", but maybe could offer me a discount. How about as a service manager, come out and speak to me. I said "forget it, I'll do it myself". Drop $40k on a Jeep and that's how they treat you? That was the last time I'll step foot in Pollard, lame. read more

Best car buying experience I ever had. No pressure from the sales guy. He gave me the info I needed and told me to call when I was ready. A couple months later I called and told him what I wanted. He found the model and options I wanted and actually steered me away from a more expensive option that I didn't fully understand. I have used Pollard for years. I even purchased my new Grand Cherokee from them and sold my older Jeep through them. Ever since buying my new Grand Cherokee Diesel I have been in the service department several times in less than one year! Every time I took my car in for the engine light being on, I would get the same old story, "everything looks fine, except for...." and it would be something small like an air filter, or something. Once my engine light was on and when I called I was told that it would be 3 weeks until they could get me in! What am I supposed to do with an engine light on and the dealer cannot get me in for 3 weeks and on top of it, they have NO cars to offer me (unlike other dealers who will give you a car to drive until your car can get in as a complementary service especially when you have purchased the car from this dealer!). There was never investigation into what might be the problem beyond the computerized printout. On top of it, they told me that the manager would take my car and drive it home to test drive it. When I went to pick up my car the tank was EMPTY and the dealership never paid me for the gas used to drive 25 miles, nor did they top off the tank! I finally took it for a second opinion only to find out that sure enough there was a service notice on this model and with very specific symptoms (all of which I had described to Pollard in the first place) it required the engine heads to be replaced! Wow, Pollard, thanks for the special care in your customers. I will never buy a car from you again and will be getting my service from another competitor in town. read more

These guys are crooks. I had them install navigation in my new Jeep and they told me it would cost an additional $600 to get my uConnect working properly. I took it to another dealer and they said it looked like it was intentionally disconnected. I fully regret buying from these slime balls but they were the only dealer within 500 miles to have the color I wanted. DON'T GO HERE!!!! read more

SHAME--- My mother is 70 years old and brought her late model jeep in for an oil change and the mechanic told her that she needed new brakes rotors and drums...... WELL .. thankfully she called me first and we got a second opinion. The Jeep only has 25K miles and is rarley driven hard. The brakes have a TON OF LIFE left . this was simply a predatory tactic of a mechanic trying to push uneeded repair on a woman who did not know any better... SHAME ON YOU POLLARD.... that mechanic needs a pink slip as he is giving you a bad reputation... needlessto say we will never be back... too bad. SHAME read more

This review pertains to Pollard's service department. We took our Jeep to get the hatch fixed. Our jeep was at the shop for three days. After a hefty bill they sent us home with a broken hatch. We returned to the service department to have the jeep repaired again a second time. After another week at the shop, we returned to find our jeep in even worse shape than the first time around. We asked to speak directly with the technician in charge of our repair. In addition to calling our jeep "a piece of shit", he pointed to our ignorance in mechanics not knowing that we actually work on all of our cars. It is important to mention that we are a women owned construction company. We own several trucks. We know our vehicles really well as we work on all of them. The treatment received at this facility is below one star. It is discriminatory and rude. Our technician in particular does not know his trade. If you own a jeep and want quality service, please stay away from this place. I give this place zero stars when it comes to knowing the mechanics of a jeep. They need a new service manager who can provide solutions rather than useless lip service. read more

We own a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has had 5 recalls to date the last one was an engine light which we researched and found it to be an issue with the number 2 cylinder, we called Pollard and the "first" remedy from service was to remove and re tighten the gas cap, waste to time, then the next time we made an appointment with service and they had the car for two days and said all it needed was a software update, before pulling out of the parking lot we had already called another Jeep dealer and spoke to their service dept. and they said all they did was wipe out the codes and the light would be back on inn 3 days, that is exactly what happened, we then brought the car elsewhere and found out that Pollard had not done all of the software upgrades that the vehicle required even though that would not have fixed the engine light issue but after two days to find the job incomplete and completely wrong was a true disappointment, Pollard has not lost a service customer and there is no way we will buy from there dealership in the future. read more

My husband and I were car shopping for two weeks and our search ended when we landed on Pollard! I have never, let me repeat, never had a car buying experience as great as this. I've always had buyer's remorse after purchasing a car, due to feeling scammed. Brian Carney was my salesperson and he went above and beyond to help; whether it was calling, texting me pics of the car, being flexible with payments, reviewing for dents and blemishes, and even offering to have our car delivered! The list goes on... Jeff Hale, our finance manager was very professional and ensured the car was to our satisfaction and even scheduled an appointment for our windshield to be fix, despite the car being sold as is. Then, the friendly Paul who delivered our car to our home! He has such a beautiful heart and was patient as we inspected the car and asked questions. Service Department Review - I have used Pollard to service my jeep over the last four years and would STRONGLY suggest anyone considering them to find another service provider. They have consistently botched standard repairs, misdiagnosed problems, replaced parts that did not need to be replaced, caused damage to parts of the jeep they were not even working on and are always extremely reluctant to take responsibility or offer refunds on their mistakes - you will end up paying for their incompetency. You will also find that you have to repeatedly return to have work redone which wastes a great deal of time. The people at the front of the service counter do their best but seem to be unhappy and have little ability/authority to address customer concerns. The techs are either poorly trained or deliberately create more work for the dealership by their ineptitude, i can't tell which. This is a very poorly run business that will take both your money and your time (more of both than you will initially think possible) and give you nothing but frustration in return. I can honestly say after giving Pollard the benefit of the doubt many times, this has been a profoundly disappointing experience. read more

We bought our Jeep at Pollard 12 years ago and had good service for most of those years. The experience this time was vastly different and we shall never go there again. We dropped off our car at 9 am, our appointment time, for a simple oil change and one recall notice (airbag.) They said they would try to have it for us by noon and would phone us to let us know. It is our only car so we were walking to shops & restaurants during that time. By 3pm, we finally phoned them (after being on hold for 10 minutes, then transferred to3 different people to try to answer my difficult question "is my car ready?") and were told it wouldn't be finished until 4:30-5 and they would call us 15 minutes prior so that we could walk there. By 4:30 we walked there anyway to find out it was in fact finished (with no phone call.) There was supposedly an "inspection list" of repairs we needed, however the list was NOT attached, and we received NO phone calls advising us of any problems so that we might decide to have them repaired also. Once we saw the inspection, the recommended "diagnosis" for what they termed urgent "failures" was $700! That doesn't even include the actual repairs. We had paid over $1000 only months ago for repairs so we were fairly certain these "failures" were bogus. Most of the "failures" were things we had just had repaired (transfer case leak, coolant leak, replaced all wipers.) So all "failures" were suspect and unreliable. Pollard was once a reputable dealership in Boulder, and now has resorted to revenue-generating tactics for unnecessary work as well as NO sense of urgency to communicate or reduce our wait time. ZERO customer service. It took seven hours for these simple tasks to be completed. They have lost all our trust and we strongly recommend you find a repair shop elsewhere. read more

Don't buy a used car anywhere else! We bought a used car from Pollard Motors and the entire experience was PHENOMENAL! From the beginning to end they were amazing to deal with. Furthermore, we cannot say enough good things about Joe in their sales department. He was honest, nice, not sleazy or pushy at all, and was more than patient with us as we test drove it for literally hours on end. He put up with our incessant nit-picking about every little detail, from having small scratches touched up to having the AC topped off with Freon. Joe seriously went above and beyond, he answered calls with questions on the weekends, in the evenings and after all he had to put up with, he STILL gave us an amazing deal on the car, I think we may invite him to thanksgiving dinner. Lastly, about a week after we purchased the car, it had a small issue with the cooling system. We contacted Joe in the evening, he got us into the shop the very next morning and they covered the cost of the entire repair and were nothing but wonderful through the whole thing. We would not hesitate to buy another car from Pollard Motors and will be coming back for regular service as their service guys are second only to Joe's amazingness. read more
