Absolutely horrible customer service. There was about six workers and not one of them spoke English. I had simple questions like what was my total price and what was included. No one could explain that to me. This is ridiculous. This is a full chain of restaurants it will be different if this is some private mom and pop restaurant, but I think employees should be able to understand and articulate very simple English sentences to the customers. read more

While out running errands, I decided to grab a quick bite to eat--only to realize I'd stepped straight into the belly of the lunchtime rush. The parking lot was jam-packed, and the line snaked around inside like everyone in the city had the same idea. Nevertheless, I forged ahead and placed my order: a taco plate, but with my own twist--switching the meat, swapping out the corn tortillas for flour, and of course, adding cheese. Every change I made was carefully itemized by the patient soul taking my order. Honestly, it felt like he was crafting a masterpiece with every customization. As I pulled up to the window, I was greeted by the beaming face of Jonathan R.--his name proudly listed on the receipt, though I wouldn't forget him either way. Not only was he cheerful, but he took the extra step to read my order back to me before taking my payment. It's the little things that count, especially during a hectic lunch hour. I was so caught up in the moment, though, that I forgot to do the one thing you never skip during a rush--double-checking the bag! I realized my mistake five miles down the road, and turning back just wasn't in the cards. With some apprehension, I parked at my destination and prepared myself for the inevitable disappointment. But to my surprise, the order was flawless--down to the extra sauce Jonathan threw in for good measure. And those tacos? Stuffed to the brim with enough meat to make two extra tacos with the filling that tumbled out. Safe to say, this spot has earned a permanent place on my radar. Jonathan R., you're a legend! Went here for dinner. Have never been here before. Decided the nachos looked good. Boy was I wrong. I ordered the bistro and chicken nachos. I am not sure what the orange stuff they call cheese is. I call it nasty. But I was willing to go ahead and force it down until l I bit into a large bone. And even then I tried to continue on until l bit into a large piece of cartilage. I then took my nachos to the register and asked for a refund. The husband ordered the chicken nachos and was continuously spitting out cartilage. I have wanted to try this place for a while. I got a quesadilla last night and waited in line for about 25 minutes. When I got my food I took it home and there was nothing but pieces of bone throughout the food. I love the here, but the service threw me off. Maybe, the employees were having an off day, but they were RUDE!!!! Two of my friends ordered the potato with the meat, and they both got their potato with lack of meat. They asked for more meat, and the employee gave them both an attitude. I ordered the carne asada with a side salad instead of the rice and beans, they gave me the smallest side salad ever versus just a regular salad. The manager didn't seem to care about anything. This Pollo Regio is close to work. Their drive thru is fast and accurate, even during lunch time. On my most recent visit, I had the flauta plate. It came with rolled tacos filled with chicken, plus a side of rice and beans. The rolled tacos were sitting on a bed of lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese. The portions are enough for two people to share. Since I ordered this to go, they included generous portions of guacamole, sour cream and their famous spicy green sauce. The chicken in the flautas was not dry and the tortilla was crisp without being greasy. For a quick and tasty taco lunch, this is the place! read more

So I went to a party earlier that day that just happened to have polio reglio catered in. It was from a different location, in Garland on Walnut, but it got me pumped for some mofo tacos. The location is nice, and clean, and they have a salsa bar with all the green salsa a gal could want. Which is amazing by the way. Our food came out piping hot and was pretty darn good. I got beef fajita street tacos. It came with 5 tacos!!!! Yum, sautéed onions, raw onions, and cilantro, just the way it's supposed to be served. The fajita wet was good, unfortunately it wasn't as flavorful as the tacos I had earlier in the day, still good but not the same. I will go back but probably to the location closer to me on garland. read more
