I went during lunch, and it was $30 a person. Their appetizers and hot food are really good. I recommend getting a lot of their seared salmon nigiri. They were definitely my favorite. I would skip the tuna nigiri, but the regular salmon nigiri was really good as well. The eel nigiri was good. They didn't put an overbearing amount of rice which was nice. Our server was really nice as well. This place is great for any size party as they also have a big room in the back! I would probably come back to try during dinner hours.
Sushi Kushi was pretty good! I will say the menu isnt as extensive compared to other ayce spots that are around the same price point ( around $40 pp )! But for the carrollton area i think its the best option for ayce. I think our favorite pieces were the spicy scallop nigiri, seared salmon, and the garlic tuna. Honestly i would come back if i was craving quick ayce sushi in the area. The service was attentive and friendly - the restaurant is pretty big and has several private rooms and in the main dining area theres a good amount of tables!! :)

The service was on the mark from the beginning. Was Sunday and had the all you can eat (2 hour limit). Had been a really long time since we had really good sushi and this place delivered. Nice ambiance, great service, great food, was worth the drive from FTW.
An awesome ayce sushi restaurant! I've been twice with a group of friends and we are seated in a private room so it's not loud. Some stand outs include the soft shell crab, seared salmon nigiri and sashimi, baked mussels, and carpaccio. The food comes out quickly which is nice. The waiters are attentive with making sure we had water. I feel for $40, it's worth it. I definitely recommend this restaurant for sushi!
Food was good, they had a variety of sushi, hibachi, nigiri, etc. The specialty sushi comes with 8 pieces just to warn anyone because it is filling. The service is very lacking. It was very hard to get anyone's attention. We had to ring three times and wave to grab someone's attention. The time to get the sushi was long as well, we had several dishes not brought out and had one wrong dish brought out. The ambiance was nice, it wasn't too crowded and wasn't loud, but the service could've been improved. Maybe it was their off day, I've been here before and the service wasn't like this today.

Glad I decided to try them out again several years later because now my husband and I have been consistently going every few weeks. I'm usually whatever about AYCE sushi but Sushi Kushi does it right -- good quality food and pricing is really reasonable. I mean, AYCE sashimi? They have a really great selection of menu items. We typically go for the seared salmon nigiri and salmon nigiri. On one of our visits, we were given a plate of toro sashimi which just brought back all the memories of my previous trips to Japan...but the kicker was the tuna wasn't even from anywhere near there. Great staff, friendly service too!
The menu with some images provided is different than the actual order sheet. Many , and I mean MANY items were not INCLUDED. We asked about uni, ankimo, fatty tuna, yellowtail collar, and sweet shrimp. Well, we were told NONE of these were available OR requires additional fee... they didn't bother to mention that from the menu nor make correction. We were told they can offer tuna toro on the house, except 10 minutes later we were told it wouldn't come in until later that day(we arrived at 5pm). I have not heard of deliveries at night especially for fish but oh well... The fish here has very little taste, I have never tasted scallops without any sweetness to it, until now. They did sear the scallops a little bit which was a nice touch, but flavorless scallop is just flavorless. Tasted like rubber. The soft shell crab was not only very oily and super tiny, but taste is also bad. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Staff was nice but other than that, I give 2 stars for the food quality.
I have a love-hate relationship with anything AYCE, but especially sushi. Let's all be real. AYCE Korean BBQ, hot pot, sushi or anything meat heavy always has me wondering about the quality. You can't have wild caught seafood or regenerative beef wagyu A5 for everything on the menu at the price of $40 a person. You just can't, I don't care what people say. So I think if you go into the meal knowing that and not expecting your meat/fish to have been an MTI graduate and pampered since birth, you'll be okay, but I suspect most people just want something that doesn't taste spoiled and a lot of it. That was a long way of saying, I was hesitant to pull the trigger on this place because I am someone who is usually more quality over quantity, but I heard enough about this place to try it. First the cons: I noticed all of the things I generally don't care for at any AYCE sushi place. The ginger/wasabi was the low-quality kind you find everywhere, the cocktails I ordered were terrible (just stick with beer) and some of the pieces we ordered were not consistent. But I was expecting that going in and so was prepared. Pros: the food was all pretty decent. The only times I really eat sushi rolls is when I'm at a place like this, so we ordered one to get our mayo intake for the month and the rest were sashimi or nigiri pieces. Pepper in some hot appetizers and we left feeling extremely full and satisfied. One thing that I really did love was the presentation. It makes it feel a lot fancier when the food comes out on a wooden boat serving platter than on little plates so brownie points for that. I will say that we ordered pretty much the same thing from round one and two, but the first round was definitely had more of the higher quality pieces (fattier pieces, smoked this and that, etc.) but I get it. Can't serve all of the premo stuff each time. We will definitely be back. And also, a shout out to the amazing staff. I think we had no less than four people come by our table to check up on us or to serve us. read more

I came for the AYCE lunch portion. I was very excited when I first entered however the food was subpar at best. I think they do an excellent job at fried food like takoyaki but the fish was not fresh and bland. It looks pretty good but the fish tastes bland. The portion sizes are big tho! read more

Someone recommended this to me. Not bad, not great. Customer service is pretty good, and the place is pretty cute and great for big groups. The appetizers and side dishes arent bad, but I am SUPER PICKY when it comes to sushi so take my review with a grain of salt. read more

The pieces of fish here were a good size but freshness doesn't compare to other places. The price compared to other AYCE sushi places is also higher. Their rice and fish ratio was good and service was quick. Tako-wasabi is a must try! read more

It is actually insane how often I come here now. I bring everyone ever to this spot, whether it's a small group or a large one. They have enough space it is super easy to get seating, and there is such great variety there is something for everyone! I am so delighted that they offer AYCE sashimi now too!! Absolutely incredible read more
10/10 across the board! Came here for date night and everything was awesome. We sat immediately on a Friday night. The decor and ambiance was minimal but beautiful. We did the all you can eat option and it has amazing value! We ate soooo many things, I honestly can't remember it all. But there's not a single item we did not like! This is the best AYCE sushi place I've been to. I heard the ownership changed in the last few months, and the food and service were both amazing. Unlike other places that set insane limits or try to fill you up on rice, this place is the real deal: you can order plenty of sashimi per round (I think it was 5 per person for each type of fish), and the quality is great. Cherry on top is that they offer this raw squid dish as well! Each round came out fairly quickly, and I left feeling very satisfied. Ambiance is very no nonsense with a black interior and a mix of sports and kpop playing on the TVs, so an inclusive vibe for everyone read more

I never had AYCE sushi, and we decided to try here after being turned away at another restaurant. It was definitely a good choice to come here. The food was pretty good for AYCE quality, and the servers were super attentive. The inside of the restaurant gave a very homey feeling and I enjoyed my experience. Had a great time at this sushi spot! The food and service were both great. Everything came out fresh and the staff was super friendly and efficient. My favorites were the crab rangoon wontons, the sake nigiri and the unagi! Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Worth every bite read more

The food is ok, the sashimi :( This is my husband's fav place that he used to eat with his dad. he said it's not as good as before, regarding the freshness. However, his dad loves it and i believe they will keep coming back read more
We tried this place recently with a group of 6 and had an amazing experience. We did the all-you-can-eat sushi on the weekend (charged as dinner price of $39.99) and it did not disappoint. We tried so many rolls, crab Rangoon, dumplings, noodles, and more. It was an excellent experience for an amazing price. We had a private room which was spacious and comfortable. Our daughter was able to enjoy chicken and fries. They have different pricing based on the age of the child. The wait staff was friendly and informative. We will definitely come back. read more
Just your average AYCE sushi place. Soon as we walked in, they emphasized charging for left overs. Once we sat down, once again, we were told of overcharges for left overs. The jallapeno bomb, the crab rangoons and edamame were the only really good things here. And those were apps. I unfortunately wouldn't visit again. For the price, I'd rather pay less and go to Ohayo. read more

Some of my & my boyfriend's favorites are the seared salmon - perfectly torched, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth goodness that is hit with a bit of what looks like mayonnaise and salt & pepper- hamachi, spicy scallop nigiri, shrimp & veggie tempura, shrimp hibachi, agadashi tofu, miso soup, seaweed salad, and so much more. The yellowtail is another standout--delicate, fresh, buttery, and not fishy-tasting! Personal tip: ask for their carpaccio sauce. I literally dip all of my sushi in this. Beyond the sushi, the restaurant offers a variety of rolls, nigiri, and cooked options like baked mussels, skewers, and udon, ensuring there's something for everyone. This is AYCE sushi at its finest. They can get a little busy so be prepared for a wait during peak dinner rush. Servers and service can be a little slow to come back to you when it gets busy. Try to be patient and throw and hand up when you're ready or need a server. Food was amazing! Everything we had was delicious. Appetizers, sushi, and entrees came within a short period after waiting. Sushi Kushi was delicious! I was unsure whether the whole menu was AYCE, but the servers informed me it was and from the appetizers to hibachi - everything was so tasty. My friend enjoyed the raw dishes as well, like the salmon. I'm not too big on those, but I did try and they pleasantly surprised me with the freshness. The reviews were correct about how fast they pick up dishes though, sometimes before you're ready to finish them lol. But nonetheless, I'd definitely come back. read more

On weekends, only the dinner menu is available for the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) option. It's pricey compared to other AYCE places, but I thought that the quantity and quality of the food were pretty good. I ordered some items from the appetizer section that sounded interesting (e.g. the Monkey Brain, which is basically deep fried stuffed mushrooms), but I would stick with the sushi because most of the appetizers I tried were deep fried and thus tasted pretty similar to one another. All the servers were bustling and attentive; it was like as soon as they saw an empty plate, they would take it away. They would then bring a new paper menu soon after for me to select my next round of options. I liked being check up on often and didn't really feel rushed. read more

With tax and tips, this is a $50 AYCE sushi. The food and options are great and worth the price point. Before going to my seat, I was asked to select 1 out of 2 choices: AYCE or normal orders. They hand me a large paper menu and a pencil for AYCE. Food comes out almost immediately. I was handed a new blank menu page every time a new dish came out. Everything is fast and efficient. That said, I do have an ick. The staff check on me and clear out plates too often and too fast. I order 8 items in total. Every time I chew the last piece on a plate, someone will come by and take the plate away immediately. Then, someone else also comes by and check if they can take the paper order. That happened at least 4 times when I was there. Until I say I don't need to order more, they immediately drop the check when I, again, am with food in my mouth. The whole meal feels rushed, so I have to take points off. Maybe I would have a different experience another time. read more
Sushi Kushi is probably as good as it gets when it comes to AYCE sushi. No AYCE sushi place is going to have the highest quality fish like at Hatsuyuki or Uchi, but I'll admit Sushi Kushi is solid overall. We came as a party of 5 at 830pm on a Wed night, and we were seated in 1 of their private party rooms. This is pretty cool to have that sense of privacy, there's a TV available, and they use those lights to signal your waiter whenever you need something. As far as food goes the best bites of food were: Spicy chopped scallop nigiri Seared salmon nigiri Baked mussels Agedashi tofu Salmon, tuna, yellowtail carpaccio Niku nigiri Udon Noodle soup Overall, I'd recommend Sushi Kushi if you're looking for an AYCE option in Carrollton. The only real downside to this place is that sashimi is not included on their dinner menu. Be aware that they will charge you extra if you waste food too, including sushi rice. After a day of playing volleyball with my cousins, we had to cancel out all our physical gains somehow.. and we ended up choosing ayce sushi! We got seated in one of the private rooms where you can watch whatever you want on the provided tv and change the lighting of the room. They have a button for whenever you want service. There's a bunch of appetizers, salads, nigiri, sushi rolls, and kitchen items you can order. We got a TON of nigiri, mainly salmon, eel, and tuna. I love their seared salmon nigiris. Their carpaccios are a must get, salmon is the best one imo, tuna is good too. They have lots of appetizers you can choose from as well, I liked the baked mussels. This place probably has the best quality sushi I've had for all you can eat. Though it is a bit pricey, at $40 pp. read more
