BCD Tofu House in Carrollton is my go-to spot for comforting Korean tofu soup. The soon tofu comes out bubbling hot with rich, flavorful broth and perfectly silky tofu. Spice levels are customizable, and the banchan is always fresh and plentiful. Service is quick and attentive, and the casual atmosphere makes it great for any occasion. If you're craving Korean comfort food, this place never disappoints.

BCD Tofu House is a quality Korean Chain that began in LA and has now arrived in Texas. Known for its soft tofu soup and quality sides, Texans can now partake in this West Coast import. Yee haw! My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - BCD Tofu House is a stand-alone restaurant in Carrollton's growing Korea Town. Look for the lime green and orange square with the letters BCD to find it. Inside, it's open with plenty of seating. And while you can order Korean BBQ here, there are no tabletop grills. Everything is prepared in the kitchen which is 100% fine by me. 1 Star. Service - Upon entering, I was quickly seated at a table by a server, and they proceeded to help. They were fast and effective. If you're looking for a server with charm or personality, you won't find it here. But if you want speed and efficacy, this is your place. 1/2 Star. Food - BCD Tofu House is known for their Tofu soup. This hot and savory soup is served boiling hot in a stone pot. Choose your level of spiciness (wisely). I prefer to pour the hot soup over my rice and eat it together. BCD Tofu House is also known for its high-quality sides. There are too many to name here, but my favorite are the picked cucumbers and fish cakes. You get all this and a protein. I'm a big fan of their short ribs. It was marinated well, flavorful, and yes I use my fingers to gnaw off all the meat off the bone. While not as fun as grilling it at my table, it was just as delicious. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. While you can get quality Korean BBQ from many restaurants, the hot and savory tofu soup is what makes BCD Tofu House so good. If you're craving good Korean eats, make sure you bookmark this spot and visit. 1 Star.

Lunch pricing (11-3pm) is applicable every day. The LA Galbi combo has short ribs (tender, fatty, and sizzling), choice of Soon Tofu, and rice. They offer free hot barley tea. The Soon Tofu (spicy, assorted: beef, shrimp, clams) was perfectly seasoned and boiling. I mentioned the raw egg, which the menu said you needed to request. The seasoning for the kimchi was thick and flavorful. The white rice was good. It left a good burnt crust.

Love this place. The entrées are big. Lots of side dishes. Got the beef bibimbap bowl. There's a lot of veggies and meat in the bowl. The rice and the hot stone pot was warm and fluffy. He also had an autumn special going on. Parking was easy. This place is located in a very busy shopping center with other Asian restaurants. Service was good and fast. Very casual ambience. Bathrooms were clean.

On my last night in Dallas, only few places were open thanksgiving night and this place came in clutch! It's a very casual walk in. Plenty of parking up front and back, and the service was very traditional Korean, few words spoken, but fast and friendly. It was a cold night so we were craving some hot tofu soup and grilled fish so we ordered the C6. Atka Mackerel combo with seafood pancakes. The seafood tofu soup was bubbling hot (perfect!) and the banchan was fresh and delicious. The mackerel was salty and crunchy, along with the seafood pancake everything was so goods

Best tofu based soup I have eaten ever. Ordered the Bimbombop (sorry I can't spell) lunch. It was a little bland, It comes with a bunch of small dishes. Kimchi was my favorite. The little deep fried fish was pretty good too. Good experience. Next time I will order the tofu soup with pork as my main dish.

First time here. So to start off, I like how their menus are on the paper placemats. Definitely better than touching those nasty plastic menus they have at other places. I ordered the hot stone beef bibimbap. If you like your food to be very very hot during the entire time that you're eating your meal, then this is the dish for you. I got it for the experience, but I wish that I got the regular one, since it took me longer to eat it. It also had a small amount of beef, which I felt was a bit stingy. I've been to other places that are more generous with that. The sides were pretty good, so overall the meal was ok. My boyfriend got the spicy pork bulgogi, which had good flavor. The sides he got were also pretty good. Overall, it was a good Korean place.

Came here for the first time as my wife recommended here! We ordered vegetarian tofu soup and combo set of bibimpap and tofu soup! They were sooo delicious!!! All the side dishes were great as well! So happy that we came here despite 15 mins of waiting! Worth the waits! Come and enjoy the taste of Texas Korean foods! :) Cheers

BCD Tofu House is a Korean chain restaurant that started in Los Angeles, CA. This particular location we visited was in Carrollton, TX, which happened to be the only BCD Tofu House in Texas. There is a lot of parking available since it's in a plaza that is shared with several other businesses. Our group of four was seated within ten minutes of arriving on a Sunday during lunch time. It was quite busy, so it was surprisingly we didn't have to wait longer than those ten minutes. We ordered the Seafood Pancake, Galbi (beef short ribs), Spicy Raw Crab, two Assorted Tofu Soup, and Spicy Rice Cakes to share. The Seafood Pancake and Galbi were good! The Assorted Tofu Soup was okay. It was a bit plain in terms of flavoring. The Spicy Raw Crab was a lot spicier than we imagined. It was good, but hard for me to enjoy because of how spicy it was. The Spicy Rice Cakes was also spicy, but not as much as the Spicy Raw Crab. The food we ordered along with all the side dishes came out relatively quickly. The downside was we had very limited table space for everything. It was not enough table space.

Food is great and quick. The service was good too, they check in on you regularly and is quick as well. The ambience is good. Busy place but not too crowded or overwhelming

Good food, service. Serve really fast, and they always provide multiple small appetizers included a pan fried fish. The seafood pancake is full of seafood. The soon tofu soup is a must have especially when I don't feel well. I will come back again and again. Homemade Asian food. Ambiance: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Price: 10/10 Service: 10/10

I really loved the service here. The lady was so kind and constantly refilled our banchan the second we ran out. The restaurant has an amazing ambiance and great vibe, it is very esthetically pleasing. I loved the flavor in the kimchi soup and how piping hot it was and including an egg was the best. I definitely recommend trying this place out!

There's a reason this is my favorite chain restaurant. If I'm in Dallas you can be assured, I'm eating here. The depth of flavors in their soft tofu soup (soondubu) cannot be matched. Their kimchi is better than you can get in any Hmart or Korean grocery store and is as close to homemade as you can get. While living in Austin, I can't get anything close to this good (even the one soondubu restaurant doesn't come close). Plenty of banchan that are also authentic (be sure to watch the video on the tvs, as they tell you the story of their tofu).
