We came here on a weekend as my wife and I like going to these chains for the green sauce. You can tell this is one of their first locations as it is small. I did not know there was one near as my wife and I like going to this Sam's Club. We ordered the 4 piece chicken and the 4 taco platter. I really wanted to try the chicken as I never had the chicken before. Overall the chicken is alright, but I think I prefer the Costco chicken and I did have it fresh before taking it home to eat later. The chicken ended up being dry when I did eat it later, so make sure you eat it fresh. The food is consistent though in terms of tasting. Overall, I would not mind going here to eat again. read more

What a treat! Pollo Regio is my go-to place for the best sandwich and fries in the DFW area. I love the chicken torta. (Sandwich) it's big, very large. Made with a fresh, soft roll and has fresh onions, lettuce, and guacamole. I order the chicken torta. The chicken is chopped into small pieces, which makes for a not so messy sandwich. The fries are probably the best I have ever had. They have a crunchy outer layer. Of course, there are other items on the menu, but this review is really for the torta and the fries. Very impressed. I ordered this for my building team. My team suggested and voted as this for their Christmas choice of food for their gift party. I never had it so I was skeptical but it's really good. I placed an order about a week in advance for delivery and it was hot, on time, and once the order confirmation came over i never had to do anything else. We went to dinner in a half hour before they closed. The ladies were courteous, not friendly, but helped me quickly. They understood exactly what I wanted and entered my order. The only thing I was disappointed on was that the cashier did not ask if I wanted corn or flour tortillas. The corn are the cheap store bought ones and the flour are the ones that they make there which are delicious. I had to take one pack of my tortillas back to the cashier and exchange it for the flour ones. The chicken came out quick and hot! They were already closing down the salsa bar but the lady let me get all the salsa I needed. The chicken was hot, fresh, delicious, and well seasoned. Even my brother, that hates chicken, loved it! The beans and rice are always perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I especially love the whole onion that comes with the chicken. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend eating in, so you can get the free chips and Unlimited salsa bar. The place was very clean, and no one was eating in. The drive-through on the other hand was super busy. A couple people came in to pick up to go, but that was it. The one thing I really didn't care for was the fans constantly on in the dining room Which pushed air on me and it was already a cold day. I get the fajita /carne asada nachos they never disappoint I love this spot it's convenient they're usually fast and the food isn't undercooked or too much fatty on the meat ,the beans are good with the caldo .The nachos can feed like 2/3 people and you get pico de gallo , guacamole,sour cream, jalapeños with plenty chips and cheese .the ladies are friendly and they repeat the order back when you go thru the drive thru also on uber eats they never disappoint always quick and reliable read more

Tables were dirty as we came in and the place didn't have any customers inside. The salsa bar was really dirty and spilled all over. There was very little shredded chicken- which I tasted and that convinced me to definitely return it. It was very dry, tasteless and very shredded/chopped up. Though they have a wide assortment on the menu, this place is all about the chargrilled chicken, hands down. There is nothing else on the menu as far as I am concerned (well, except for the chocoflan:) I first started going to the S. Austin location on Stassney several years ago and when I moved back to Dallas was excited to see they had locations here as well. Lots of places serve this 'El Rey' style of grilled chicken but I have yet to find any others that have perfected it (and the sides) so well. Order the medium or whole chicken 'with everything' and you'll see why they have had such success since coming to Texas from Monterrey over 15 years ago.
