This is the worst pollo tropical ever. The employees seem to not want to work and get mad when you order more sauce. It's unfortunate that this is my nearest one because food is great but not from this location. I did a big order about 4 months ago and they forgot to add one of the chickens and a tub of curry mustard which I paid for. I contacted their customer service the day after. It's always an ordeal trying to come here. Due to their corner location in the shopping center, the drive through line always splits in two causing more traffic to enter and confusion of trying to access the actual lane. Certain times with no rush are much more of a breeze but those times are surely scarce. Every time I ask for more sauce I always get a mean look which isn't the customer service that Pollo Tropical is usually known for. I do end up waiting longer here but am unsure of exactly why which is kind of annoying. If it wasn't because they make the best roasted chicken available in a drive through then I wouldn't keep coming back when I'm by my moms house for a quick piece of chicken to keep me going. I like coming here sometimes for lunch when I'm in the area. I usually go with the tropi-chop bowls or the quarter chicken lunch special. You can get a quarter chicken with rice and beans for $5.50, and every time I order it my chicken is huge! Always a plus. They also have great family deals starting at $12! After waiting for about 15 minutes in the drive-thru I had received the 8-piece pollo bite meal that I ordered. After just one bite into my pollo bite I was disgusted. Coming here for several years now and this location has always served us well. The "fast food" Is fantastic and for anyone who knows the story behind it, you have to admit it is the Latin flavor is wonderful. It's truly a shame what happened today in this restaurant. Its brand new great location but today they didn't have enough cooks they didn't have enough helpers they had people standing on line for over 40 minutes. I usually come here for lunch on the days that I work, and there is always a line for the drive through. My schedule for work always changes, so I have been here during different times of the day. No matter what time of day, this location is always busy. Since I always order through the drive through, I always see an employee standing outside taking orders. Instead of ordering through the speaker, you give your order to someone with a tablet who stands outside. You would think that this makes the line go by faster, but it doesn't. There have been times where I've waited 35 min in the line. The food itself is pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary. I usually order the chicken, brown rice, and black beans tropichop with yuca frita. Pretty tasty. Their fried plantains are also pretty good. I've gone to many other Pollo Tropical restaurants throughout the years, and to this only a couple of times because it has the worst service. I understand their were busy, and the wait was way too long for the crappy service we got, just to end up not getting what we wanted. They're so rude and rush you through your order. They're in such a rush, that they jipped our food, didn't give us a chance to ask for sauces, or what we ordered but charged more than they should.
