Treat customers with contempt. Won't go back. 2 of last three orders deliberately wrong. One: ordered half chicken. Got 2 legs and 2 thighs. Someone deliberately filled the order that way. I writing this review as a Uber eats driver because I was really sad to see the poor customer services that they provide. Today (8/13/2020) around 8:30pm I was picking up an order. They had a problem with the order (there was not white rice) which is something that It's totally out my responsibility as driver. They told me to call the customer let them know what they were missing. I try to call the customer but this never answered. I work my full time job in a restaurant so I know when there is a problem you (as employee from the restaurant) has to fix it, not try the driver to solve an issue that he/she can't solve. Sadly this lady didn't know this simple philosophy. There was two girls one really polite (wearing a black shirt) and the other which I assume was the manager (wearing a red shirt). The girl in the red shirt was extremely rude to me saying that I should cancel the order (this was her solution) she repeat this to me many many times (probably she doesn't know that cancel the order affects me the driver, Uber and the company) she was yelling at me with for no reason saying that she already told me to cancel the order if I can't contact the customer! And that "it was not her responsibility to contact the customer" I was not even saying "no" to contact the customer it was just the fact that the customer didn't answer it, simple as that. I don't really understand why she was so rude to me but there was other customers who saw the show that she was making for something that it was not my fault it all. Literally could not care less about customer service. Placed two large catering orders, paid, received WRITTEN confirmation of orders. Arrived at 10:45am pick up order as confirmed by Pollo Tropical - Again in WRITING. The store was locked and completely empty. I waited then knocked but no one was to be found. By 11:00sm, the store was still locked and not one soul vida le inside. Other customers had congregated waiting outside and began knocking on the door. No one came. Some time after 11am, the manager who I now know is Bernadette, unlocked the doors. I told her I was in rush because my catering order was supposed to be ready at 10:45 AM. She rudely cut me off and told me there was no catering order. She then informed me that her email was broken and she did not make any catering orders. She also told me that she informed her corporate representative that there was no email. Rather than simply get the order by phone and make the food they had charged me for and committed to make, she simply chose to have me show up expecting to feed 25 people and THEN. Inform me that there would be no food. I explained to her that I had an order confirmation and that I had a large group of people expecting to be fed. Bernadette was absolutely rude and probably the most unprofessional individual I have come in contact with. I have done many thousands of dollars of business with Apollo catering and I can assure you, that will not continue. Bernadette just personally cost this business many thousands of dollars in revenue. She has zero professionalism and is an absolutely shameful representative for this company. read more

Because Yelp listed their Saturday closing time as midnight, my friend and I arrived at 10:50, not realizing the actual closing time was 11:00, not midnight. Yet, despite the fact we were there 10 minutes before closing, we were not turned away. We were told they were out of white rice and brown rice, but other than that, we were able to get our Caribbean chicken soup with a side of yellow rice. They even told us we could eat in, and did not rush us out. The manager told us to let him know if we needed anything more and told the rest of the staff to not bother us. I was in the weston area today and decided to go by pollo tropical for lunch. My family and I always eat at the pollo tropical on pines blvd so we know what it's suppose to taste like. All I wasnt to say is that this has been the worst pollo tropical I e ever been too. I order three sandwiches and the chicken was so hard that u can break someone's head with it. It all went into the garbage. On top of that that didn't give me a receipt to call corporate to complain however, I will still try to do so. My 1st disappointment in 2020. This evening I had the worst experience, they didn't have any salsa out side, the soda was flat, not enough cooked chicken, I was watching my plate ready only waiting for the chicken, after waiting for at least 15 minutes, they started serving the chicken that was coming out to the new drive thru orders, I brought it to the employee's attention and I was completely ignore. This is the first time I have been here. My family in Florida always rave about it. I figured to try it out and it was really good, they have a trip combo meal for $9 roasted pork loin, 1/4 chicken, Caribbean pork ribs. Everything is on an open fire grill. The good was all very tasty. We also had fried plantains !! OMG !! They were the BEST! They have a condiment bar with BBQ sauce, try the guava BBQ sauce. It's delish. A cilantro garlic dip/dressing. The restaurant was empty and every table was dirty. I asked for a napkin and was told they ran out. The employees placed large rolls of paper towel that appeared as if it came from the bathroom on the serving station.
