Mexican Huli-Huli Chicken!
Nelson Q.

MEXICAN STYLE HULI-HULI CHICKEN!!! Good, now that I got your attention, Pollos Culiacan has other locations around town, but this is the newest location right in front of Antojitos Sinaloa restaurant on E. Charleston. We saw the smoke coming from the grill so we made a random stop. They also serve tacos, tortas, hit dogs and other items, but their Pollo Asado reminded me of Huli-Huli Chicken spots back home. The hours according to Google are 9 am to 9pm, 7 days a week. We ordered a half chicken plate combo with rice, beans, and tortillas. You place your order outside, and go inside the restaurant to pay. Your receipt guarantees your order. There was a 10 minute wait for the chicken which was no problem, but the smokey aroma of the birds roasting over the hot coals got me real hungry and excited to dig in. The chicken was absolutely moist, well seasoned and very JUICY! We will most definitely be back! For those of you looking for bomb Huli-Huli Chicken, come here!!! ALOHA!!! Birria Tacos with lemons, salsa, onions and cilantro, etc

We tried this food truck and grille station since we see a line and the food smells great here! We are pleased with our choice. It lived up to our expectations. We will be back soon.

Was introduced to this awesome taco truck thanks to a local pro. I had the Quesa-Birria tacos and they were mouthwatering good. Chef's kiss!

Located inside an areas with a bunch of other ghost kitchens, there's a parking lot with a couple…read morespaces, you walk in through the door on the right side. You'll see "food pick up" on the top of the building and you'll know you're in the right spot. I would recommend placing your order by calling them first and then going to pick up since there's not too much waiting room. When we got there, you can hit the ring button to have someone take your order. Isaiah came out shortly after, was super kind and friendly. We ordered Da Cartel which included 10 wings (lemon pepper and garlic parmesan), a slider, and trap fries. This totaled out to be about $27 and fed two of us. The wings were absolutely mouthwatering. I'm not usually a fan of garlic parmesan because it's too powdery - but theirs were not like that at all. The slider was a bit too saucy, but the patty itself was well seasoned. The fries were everything - use a fork though it can get messy. Hoping the best for their future and looking forward to a store front where there's seating!

Made my way over there and passed up the location because I was looking for a food truck but no it's an actual location. Walked up the ramp greeted me at the door told me to proceed. The waiting area is tight but they do have a few seats. The ambiance is super casual. They helped with my order explained the menu. Got my order they offered drinks while waiting and candy. Great customer service. Wings were good.....fries were good too. Check them out....

Bacon makes everything better, so how could I resist the chance to try a food truck devoted to it?…read more Blondie's Bacon Creations was one of many local food trucks that came to Sunset Park'd in 2016. You can't miss the blue truck with pictures of bacon (and a blonde), even though these guys were somewhat tucked away in a corner near the stage. The menu is mostly different variants of french fries and sandwiches, but I saw the Bacon Tater Balls ($6), a creation that they boast took 3rd place in the "Extreme Bacon Bite Challenge" (a quick Google search shows that it was held November 2015 last year and included restaurant chefs). This tray had 3 fluffy potato balls with bacon, green onion, and cheese that were deep fried in Panko breading and topped with a lemon sour cream. Although it's not the most exciting potato ball that I've had from a food truck, it was a contrast of textures and had enough bacon flavor. Blondie's Bacon Creations seems to be a solid food truck so far. I'll definitely check out some of their loaded french fries next time.

Looking for some naughty bacon treats? This is your place!…read more I tried Blondie's when they were outside of Bad Beat Brewery. I really like Bad Beat, but I was mostly there for the bacon. First, the couple that runs the truck is really nice. They are very welcoming. I ended up at the truck three different times and they were friendly each time. I even asked if there was any way that I could get a couple of items to go for my husband since he was stuck at work and missing out. They didn't skip a beat and wrapped up a couple of items for me to take home. I was even given instructions on properly warming the food if necessary. I had a sandwich that was melted cheese, bacon, egg, and jalapenos on sourdough. It was awesome. That combination was a winner. My coworker and I shared the Dumpster Fries which were my favorite item. It was fries, cheese, bacon, jalapenos, ranch dressing, and an over easy egg. The instructions were to crack the egg in the middle to let it make a gravy on the fries. You can't go wrong with this plan. We gobbled this up. I definitely brought an order of these back to my husband. For dessert I grabbed a couple of the chocolate chip pecan cookies from My Big Fat Cookie. The cookies were huge and one would have been enough for two people. The cookies were okay, but not overly flavorful. Maybe Blondie's should have a maple bacon dish for dessert?? Bacon for the win!
