ZERO STARS!!!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!! LITERALLY BUY A CAR ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!! Unless you want to throw your money away on their "Ford Certified Pre-owned" JUNK cars that need a new engine after 3 months of purchasing it. That's right - my son bought one of their pre- owned certified cars back in March, he got to drive it for 3 whole months before the engine completing blew!!!! Best part is - they were willing to do NOTHING ABOUT IT - since it was 2 days past the 90 day warranty!!!! However, they were willing to put a new engine in for a small fee of $9k!!! He already paid $14k CASH for a car that quit working after 3 months then they want to charge him another $9k on top of that?!?!?!? Nobody's going to pay $23k for a car that has over 70k miles on it??? Talk about FRAUD!!!! Oh, and they strung my son along for weeks, because he was trying to make an appointment to speak with the GM, and they said they didn't have one there at the time, so everyday when he d call, they 'd either keep him on hold or send him straight to vm and sometimes they would even hang up on him!!! WOW!!!! WHAT A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS!!!! They know what they did, was WRONG, and now they're trying to hide. It's ok though, because we already reached out to a lawyer and this falls under the Lemon Law 100% so they can hide all they want, and avoid our calls, but they're going to have to pay him back either way. So save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a car!!!! You'll thank me later. read more

Very disappointing experience with the Chino Hills Ford service department. I had a 7:00 AM appointment and was one of the first customers there, but when they started checking people in, I was skipped. I didn't even say anything. The porter checking customers in noticed, apologized, and the service advisor who skipped me told me that my truck would be serviced before the customer who had been taken ahead of me. When I returned to pick up my truck, that same service adviser who skipped me made a point of saying, "See, you're out of here before the other guy." The problem was that I had already seen the other customer leave before me and he was no longer there. I responded by saying "I don't see the other customer around". It would have been better not to bring it up again. What he told me wasn't accurate and felt like an unnecessary attempt to make the earlier situation seem better than it actually was. My service included an oil change, tire rotation, and topping off the fluids. When I was told my truck was ready, I walked over and noticed the tires had not been rotated. I have different tires on the truck, so I knew exactly where they were when I dropped it off, and they were still in the same positions. I went back inside and told the employee who had originally skipped me in that the tires had not been rotated. He then directed me to the service advisor who had actually handled my service. That service advisor checked with the technician and told me the technician insisted the tires had been rotated. We walked out to my truck, and I pointed out exactly how I knew the tires hadn't been moved. Despite what I was showing him, he continued to rely on the technician's claim that they had been rotated. The service advisor then accused me of being rude. I wasn't raising my voice, cussing, or calling anyone names. I was simply pointing out that a service they said was completed had not been done. He eventually made a snarky comment that he would have the technician "rotate them again." If I can't trust that something as basic and easy to verify as a tire rotation was actually done, it makes me question whether everything else was completed properly. Is it too much to ask for professional and trustworthy service, especially for an $80k+ truck? Mistakes happen, but dismissing legitimate concerns, providing information that doesn't match what actually happened, and accusing a customer of being rude for questioning the work is unacceptable. This experience definitely left me questioning whether I would return to this service department. read more

Update: less than 3 weeks and 300 miles the check engine light came on once again on the way home from work. It had the same code that it did plus 3 more pertaining to the high voltage battery. With that said the part replaced was not the issue which I suspected all along. The car is back at the dealer as of 7/23 so I hope after the electrical technician looks it over that Ford Motor Company will honor the battery warranty so I don't have to keep brining this back. I am keeping the star rating as the dealer has done a good job, it was Ford Motor Company that declined the battery 3 weeks earlier. read more

Unreliable Service Dept. absolutely ZERO customer communication, and If you're lucky they will call you back you will not get a completion date or what's actually happening with your vehicle. Just a bunch of words that's gonna have you start all over again and get no solution or answers. They just don't care. Their promises mean nothing and they don't care simple as that. I've been waiting just a little over eight weeks for a rental car reimbursement. That was most likely never submitted. Horrible experience! I have an EcoSport with 1-year after-market powertrain warranty. It had an overheating issue earlier on a freeway, so I took it to an independent shop. The shop was able to diagnose it and got an approved case from the warranty provider to have the engine replaced. Yet they were unable to get the part, so they suggested me to take the car to this Ford Dealer. The warranty provider paid the diagnose fee. This dealer couldn't diagnose the issue and just suggested me to replace some irrelevant hoses and charged me the diagnose fee. The advisor was super hard to communicate. The engine light came on, and the car stopped on the freeway due to overheating, and I had to wait for it to cool down on the roadside. But they kept telling me they can't diagnose anything wrong, asking me to pay for the diagnose fee, urging me to replace some irrelevant hoses and alleging the first shop lying. I had to end up terminating any further work with them. Very upset and unpleasant experience to me. read more

UPDATE: I spoke with Sheryl at Customer Relations, and nothing is being done to address the mistakes made by Chino Hills. The dealership is NOT complying with the Ford Blue Certified program.I paid nearly $1.7k for the so called aftermarket certification and the peace of mind that was promised. That was a mistake. The car was delivered without a proper alignment, had mismatched tires with all season tires installed on the rear and summer tires kept on the front which made the vehicle extremely unsafe and caused severe hydroplaning, and even the horn was not functioning properly. All three of these items are clearly listed in the Ford Blue Certified 139 point inspection checklist that is heavily emphasized during the sales process, yet they were completely overlooked. Despite this being brought to their attention, the dealership has not taken this seriously or made any effort to correct it. This experience shows a clear disconnect between what is advertised and what is actually delivered. I strongly recommend not purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. read more

Walked into the dealership and was pleasantly met by Cynthia Canabal. She was quite friendly, informative and very personable. We explained that we wanted to be walking out with a new truck and explained that we don't like to haggle (back and forth) and would not come back there after if our needs could not be met. She appreciated our honesty and explained her sole purpose was to get us what we wanted or as close to it. It was such a great experience from start to finish and super quick. She made it happen, gassed up our new truck and detailed it as well. And she even set us up for a photo shoot. We Felt like celebrities!!!! Bought a used 2025 F-150 (~20k miles) from Chino Hills Ford. Salesman Damian was helpful and professional--great experience with him. Pre-sale report claimed 7/32" tire tread. Next morning, my dad's tire shop (40+ years experience) measured 4/32"--he thinks it could be under that. Sent pics to dealer. Went in, waited 40 mins, they said 5/32" but never showed their gauge or any new report. Managers huddled privately, came out saying "we just want you to be happy" and promised discount/help since I wanted to upgrade tires--then total ghosting. No call, no follow-up. inconsistent reports, and broken promises feel shady. Demand proof in person and get everything written here. Damian was the highlight. I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience at Chino Hills Ford was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. My wife's lease will be ending soon, and I was hoping to upgrade her to a car she deserves. On the first day, she called ahead to confirm the car was available and was told it was. She was 45 minutes into a 1.5 hour drive to the dealership when someone finally called to say the car could not be viewed that day--without so much as an apology for the inconvenience. We returned the next day and met our salesman, Gil, who was pleasant at first. Negotiations went as expected, with the dealership trying to add unnecessary and overpriced extras. Gil and another employee, Steve (I believe), played the classic good cop/bad cop routine, disappearing to "the back" to see if their add-ons could be reduced. Eventually, we settled on what seemed like a fair price. I left to take our daughter home while my wife completed the paperwork. Unfortunately, without our knowledge, the dealership added a $1,200 "gap waiver" to the contract. When I noticed it after my wife returned home, we immediately called the dealership. That's when the stalling began: we were put on hold for 30-45 minutes, and suddenly, no one was available to help. Eventually, we spoke with Priscilla, who handled the final paperwork and added the gap coverage--something my wife never agreed to or signed for. Priscilla claimed she "played with the numbers" so the gap coverage would be free, but it was clearly included in the final total. She could not explain what adjustments were made, which felt very underhanded. Initially, we were told we'd have to drive an hour and a half back to the dealership to cancel the coverage in person. After much back-and-forth, emails, and a letter sent in the mail, we were finally provided with a copy of the cancellation form. Now, we are told we must wait 4-6 weeks for the refund to be returned to the lender. To make matters worse, Gil--who initially seemed forthright--abandoned us, despite promising to involve the manager and follow-up on this matter. . The drive to make a quick buck has cost them a future customer, as my lease will soon be ending too. The lack of transparency, questionable tactics, and poor customer service are reasons enough for me to caution anyone considering Chino Hills Ford. Shop elsewhere if you value honesty and respect for your time; I know I will. read more

Arrived right when they opened and we began to proceed with going through the process of purchasing the vehicle. We arrived at a number we agreed on and was waiting to have the sales person begin to processs the paper work and sign the contract. I was then told the car was sold while we working on the purchase! I could not believe they would treat a customer this way. I understand that the dealers priority is to sell, but to not give me the courtesy to sign off on the vehicle since I was the first person there, and work out a deal with someone else in parallel strikes me as highly unprofessional and very short sided. I remember when Ford service was something customers could truly rely on. Back when Maria O. was there, the level of customer care was excellent. Customers were greeted with professionalism, friendliness, and genuine attention. Unfortunately, that experience is gone. Today, employees rarely greet customers with a smile or make them feel welcome. The personal interaction and communication that once made the service department stand out have disappeared. What's even more disappointing is the so-called "complimentary multi-point inspection." It is documented as completed, but it does not appear to actually be done anymore. Customers are simply sent text messages instead of receiving proper explanations about the work performed or the condition of their vehicle. The service department now feels rushed, impersonal, and disconnected from the customer experience Ford used to provide. Ford should seriously look at what changed after Maria O.'s time because the difference in service quality is very noticeable. read more

Worst car buying experience ever. Went in to buy an f150 for myself and my girlfriend was looking at broncos. I ended buying the f150 and found a nasty blemish on the paint. The entire dealership has me jumping through hoops just to get any sort of action in fixing this issue. Even the customer relations manager has handled this whole case very poorly beginning with ignoring my emails until I went in person to talk to her. Even the manager Moe just gave me the runaround and never got back to me. The cherry on top is that one of their salesman is literally flirting with my girlfriend over text messages after she filled out a credit application. I have been trying to sell my 22 mach e and entered my information on car guru. I put in all the information and they matched me up with this dealership and gave me an anticipated price of 21,897 I contacted the dealership to confirm the estimate pending an inspection. The woman on the phone stated that as long a the car is in the same listed condition then they would honor the price. I made it a point to tell her that if the dealer would not honor the price then let me know as I have kids at home and had to arrange a baby sitter. She assured me that as long as the car matches the description then it shouldn't be a problem. I headed to the dealership and passed multiple dealerships on the way due to their advertised price. Once I get there I made contact with the woman that I had been communicating with. She evaluated the vehicle and stated it was in great condition. She then went to talk to a manager. The manager came out and offered me 18,000. He stated that was the best they could do. I mentioned the fact that I had a car guru quote and asked if they would honor it. The manager stated he didn't know about the quote and stated that I needed new tires and had a fender bender which dropped the value. I let him know that I input all that information and explained that to the woman on the phone and was still assured it wouldn't be an issue. My tires have 19,000 miles on them and are 3 years old. The car is in a garage when parked. The tires are in great shape. The manager then went onto explain how the political spectrum tanked values of electric cars. I let him know that none of that has anything to do with the fact that I was given assurances that as long as the car matched the description, the price would be honored. I also let them know that the almost 2,000 dollar difference from their offer and the original offer didn't make since due to "tires". He said "Sorry, that's all I can do". I let them know carmax was higher and they stated they could match carmax but would not beat it. Obviously I was irritated as my time was wasted and I fell for the old bait and switch. Dishonest dealership practices. Another reason to hate dealerships. read more

Run and make sure to stay away! I went in for a simple ($119.00) oil change today (4/23/2025) and walked out paying $1760.75. Jesus the service technician played on my fears knowing I drive an hour to and from work on a daily basis. But this is not the least of it, he lied on the invoice. He claimed I requested the repairs in writing. I called him as soon as I got home and requested all parts that were replaced tomorrow morning (4/24/2025). Jesus went on to ask me if I wanted him to pull the old oil out of the recycling drum. Then he stated this is how the computer system at Ford automatically writes this. I asked to speak with his supervisor, and he told me Joe was gone for the day. I will follow up on this matter tomorrow. Honesty in any business is essential. read more
