Yum! So tasty and creamy. A small cup is a perfect little treat. I had the cookie dough with Oreos and it was stuffed with cookies but still a great ratio to gelato. The Creme brûlée was packed with flavor and so rich. The kids loved their cake pop and mint chocolate chip flavors. With warmer weather coming, we'll be going more frequently. read more

Wow, just wow. This gelato is the real deal. I've found it incredibly hard to find real gelato, even in famed places like Federal Hill. This tasted like it came directly from Italy. I did learn that the owner went to Italy to learn to make gelato specifically, so I can say with confidence, this is authentic. They had some great flavors, but my favorite was the chocolate hazelnut. You can't get more Italian than that (except maybe the Panatone flavored gelato - that's Italian af). I was there for the Westerly Stroll and they did a wonderful pairing with another vendor, where you could get fresh German waffles topped with gelato. I like that they support and partner with other small businesses. Seating is limited, but you don't really need to sit and eat gelato. Great service, super friendly. Such a great and cute little shop! We came in the late fall, so maybe that's why there were gelato pops for only $2! The flavors were fun and worth every penny. We a coconut samoa, biscoff cookie and coffee cake gelato pops! They had many other flavors of pops too all neatly lined up in a small freezer. I was lucky enough to study abroad in Italia during college and since coming back to the US, I haven't found a gelateria that has been able to stand up to the reputation of Italy's--that is until now! This place is hands down the best gelateria in south county Rhode Island, and some of the best I've had since returning to the states. The nocciola (hazelnut) is delicious. Free samples are given of any flavor you'd like, just like in Italy. Do your self a favor; give up a nice or traditional soft-serve for a delicious gelateria experience. Had been meaning to stop by this place for awhile. Finally had the opportunity last weekend and we are glad we did. It is the best gelato we had ever tasted. My wife and I traveled to Venice a year ago and finished each day trying different gelato from a small shop in town. This place in Westerly has mastered the art of making gelato that was as good, no better than the gelato in Venice and also had the quaint feeling of an Italian village shop.
