Went to the counter and mentioned Uncle X and the budtender launched into a damn near five minute monologue about their 2 for 60 deal (which i did not ask nor care about and already know about, honestly I just felt interrupted) Once she was finished I kindly asked about which of the halves are freshest at the moment. She told me "uhhh.. sorry. I'd have to pull it up but are you looking for indica or sativa?" (The distinction is nearly nonexistent today, mostly based off of terpene profiles). I mentioned one of the particular strains I was looking at and she told me since it was Most Wanted it couldn't be part of the deal (again, IDC!) she left with no time to finish my train of thought and brought me up one half of it almost like she expected me to buy and leave. Now I'm not one to complain about service, because I have a lot of experience in a restaurant myself, but I should not feel like I know more about what I'm buying than the person selling it to me. The budtender is hardly the issue here. It's her boss and the training. No dispensary should prioritize turnover like a restaurant. It makes me feel like a number rather than a customer.
