Went to the counter and mentioned Uncle X and the budtender launched into a damn near five minute monologue about their 2 for 60 deal (which i did not ask nor care about and already know about, honestly I just felt interrupted) Once she was finished I kindly asked about which of the halves are freshest at the moment. She told me "uhhh.. sorry. I'd have to pull it up but are you looking for indica or sativa?" (The distinction is nearly nonexistent today, mostly based off of terpene profiles). I mentioned one of the particular strains I was looking at and she told me since it was Most Wanted it couldn't be part of the deal (again, IDC!) she left with no time to finish my train of thought and brought me up one half of it almost like she expected me to buy and leave. Now I'm not one to complain about service, because I have a lot of experience in a restaurant myself, but I should not feel like I know more about what I'm buying than the person selling it to me. The budtender is hardly the issue here. It's her boss and the training. No dispensary should prioritize turnover like a restaurant. It makes me feel like a number rather than a customer. The OC Skunk was fire but I probably would've walked away with trash if I was someone who didn't have a general idea of what they are looking for.

The associate I encountered was unhelpful and uninterested in assisting us in finding a suitable strain seemed to not care much once we mentioned the promotion we were interested in. The advertisement prominently states "FREE OUNCE FOR NEW CUSTOMERS" without any additional fine print. This should be the sole basis for honoring the promotion. However, upon visiting the dispensary, it was discovered that a $50 purchase is required to redeem this offer, and the customer receives only 7 grams of some low grade in house brand instead of the advertised full ounce. This is a significant reduction in the value of the promotion, requiring the customer to return three more times to spend another $50 each time to obtain the promised amount. This advertisement is highly deceptive, and if the dispensary is aware of its misleading nature, it should take appropriate action to rectify the situation. This could involve removing the advertisement or making a substantial alteration to the promotional promises displayed on the billboards.

I have receipts proving this has never been an issue--until now. This time, I ordered 10 grams of concentrate, split into two 5‑gram orders. Both orders were filled without any problem. Then I was suddenly told I could only buy 5 grams total. When a manager was brought over, he said I could complete two transactions as long as I walked outside and came back in. I said that was completely fine--it's manageable and has been done before. Then the cashier immediately contradicted him and said I could only be sold 5 grams for the entire day. When I pointed out that the manager had just said something different, he backed down and said, "If that's what she said, then that's what it is." So the rules changed again, on the spot, and they refused to complete an order they had already filled. That alone is ridiculous--but this follows a pattern. I had a similar issue 3-4 years ago, involving staff refusing to honor the veteran discount with sale items. That issue involved some of the same people, and one of them was later removed from the front of the store. Ever since then, whenever certain employees are involved, there are problems. This does not feel accidental. It feels targeted. I am a combat veteran, I use a wheelchair, and I was simply trying to make one trip so I wouldn't have to come back for over a month due to pain and mobility issues. None of that mattered. Instead of resolving the problem, they doubled down and even brought in another manager for no reason. This store does not apply rules consistently, does not respect long‑term customers, and clearly has no issue treating veterans poorly. I am done with this location and this company. I will never be back. To other veterans and medical patients in the Phoenix area: be aware of how this place operates and consider taking your business somewhere that actually values you.
