What a handful! She was (is) very high energy, jumping up on me, pulling horribly on leash, dashing out the door at every opportunity. But she seemed very smart, so I believed that she could do better. Even though I have plenty of experience training my own German Shepherd pups, this little feral mixed breed (cattle dog?) of unknown age proved to be beyond me, and I contacted Robyn. She met us for an in-home consultation, and outlined what she had to offer. The emphasis was clearly on teaching ME how to train my dog. Perfect! We met with her once or twice a week, and also did our homework once or twice daily. And we had our last lesson today. My feral rescue dog is now a well-behaved delightful companion. She doesn't jump on people anymore, she walks beautifully on leash, and she waits for me to give her the command to go through any door. She also knows heel, sit, down, stay, and here. What I can say is that when you first walk in it's very crowded so many kittens in kennels. It breaks my heart! (Not their fault) we need more fosters and people to adopt that will take care of these babies. I was going to get vaccines during their low cost clinic, and ended up going to HCH because they had a sooner date for a sick clinic as well. So that was the reason I went somewhere else. But I do hope they can get more adoptions going, for kitties and pups! I did find the staff to be very nice and welcoming! Huge hill to drive up though

When we dropped our pup off for a groom (use 5/8) Bianca seemed nice. I was told she is an…read moreexperienced groomer who owned her own salon in California. We had some specific instructions around his sanitary area, specifically his scrotum area, no shaving!! They called to say he had some matting and needed to go a little shorter. However when we picked him up he had been shaved all over including sanitary areas. She said he might be "a little bothered" for a few days since she buzzed his scrotum area. He constantly sits down mid walk and licks furiously, he is a lot more than bothered, he's miserable. She even shaved part of his tail! She just wanted to buzz him quickly and didn't want to take the time to brush him and do as we requested, she commented that she was "very busy" today. Needless to say we will not go back! If she is an experienced groomer I guess I'm thankful I didn't get a groomer just starting. Please don't take your doodle here.

She sends me many video and picture updates while we are away, which brings me so much comfort and joy! My dog was having a slew of health issues this summer and Moran totally stayed on top of Paikea's many medications! Moran is also an incredible dog trainer. She is knowledgeable and insightful when it comes to dog behavior and training. She knows how to safely and appropriately deal with a slew of behavior issues. My foster dog was boarded at Moran's along with my own dog this summer. He went from an insecure, scared dog around other dogs, to a full blown social butterfly when I came to pick them up! He now spends HOURS at the dog park with his new owners! I always know that Paikea is in the best hands with Moran! Moran is compassionate and it's obvious she LOVES what she does! I do not know where we would be without Monique. I truly do not. Our dogs Morgan and Joey had…read morelived together without issue for 11 months and then we started having major problems. Fights would erupt out of nowhere (or so we thought). We were living with them separated. Two different trainers we worked with were biased regarding mixed breed/rescue dogs and left us with little hope. The rescue we adopted Joey from recommended Monique with Elite K9 Training Ranch. Our evaluation was unlike anything I have ever experienced. SHE KNOWS DOGS!!! Like, really knows dogs. Truly, she is a dog whisperer. Joey had a 4 week board and train. She gave us homework to work on with Morgan at home. I was apprehensive at first about leaving my 'kid' for 4 weeks but now she is the one we board our pups with when we go away. She cares about them like they are her own and she provides a secure, protected and balanced environment. We have now worked with Monique for over a year. Board and train for Joey in 2023 then weekly group classes in Prescott with the occasional get away boarding. Every time I am around her I learn something new and my relationship with my dogs has never been better. Looking back on the past year I can now say that I am glad our dogs fought and led us to Monique. I am a better leader and advocate for my dogs. I am a better human too. Monique's real ability is teaching us, the humans, how to be better for our dogs and how to listen to what they are telling us and be the leader they need. I have 2 dogs. One is a giant schnauzer (2.5 yrs) and the other is a golden retriever (1.5 yrs)…read more Both have been to basic obedience classes in the past but apparently I failed them in maintaining the lessons they had learned. As a result, the boys became restless, jealous, no longer listened (well) and taking them on a walk became a chore we dreaded. I wanted a better life for them and me. I discovered TopLineK9 when a St. Bernard was dumped in the Village. When I heard where and how he was being prepared for his forever home, I googled the business and reached out to Stephanie. Wow. Is she just a burning ray of sunshine and joy! We met and the boys and I were hooked. The boys went to school for the 2 week board and train. We met a few times during training to; first ease my fear that my boys would forget me, and to begin to train ME on being a better leader. Once the boys came home the change was palpable. They were actually calm in the mornings when they used to brawl at our feet while we drank coffee. Walk became something to look forward to and we were able to get out to some trails without the dogs barking and lunging at other people and dogs. They are actually listening and looking to me for direction instead of doing whatever they want to do. We are still in the process of doing a few follow ups to make sure that everything "stuck". I think the boys really benefited by being away from me for a few weeks because (I believe) they needed a break from me and my frustrations. I feel blessed to have found Stephanie and her team, they really perform miracles!

I was at the end of my rope for my 1 year old pitbull/cane corso mix. I had tried 2 other trainers…read moreand 3 classes. She had become extremely aggressive towards people and other dogs. And she would not listen to any commands and had zero recall. I was worried she was going to bite someone and I'd lose her. Kilo and the trainer Malina have been a miracle. In just 4 sessions, I can walk my dog without her pulling me and she can be off leash without fear of her not coming back. She is slowly getting over her fear of other people and animals. I learned that she is a working breed so for her to be happy she needs a job to do. I could walk her for several hours on a hike and it would do nothing, but training her for just 20 minutes, she passes out. We still have a long way to go but there is hope and our bond is stronger
