I'm completely in love with this place! From the friendly and helpful staff to the beautiful and comfortable rooms, to the food at a The restaurant, and winery tour with Ty, our visit was wonderful. I wouldn't have changed a thing, and look forward to coming back. read more

This is our first time around the area. Went here for my cousin's wedding. Beautiful venue. The Barrel Room is great for an intimate reception, but still accomodate a decent area for dancing. It was a little bit chilly inside so carry a light sweater. We saw what we thought were heaters on the ceiling but not sure why there were off. Great place, would come and try their restaurant and of course some wine one of these days. read more

There's nothing incredibly wrong with Ponte, but there's nothing fantastic. The rooms are clean, the decor is nice. The rooms are a bit small, the balconies smaller, no place for room service dining in room, which is okay since the room service menu is limited. Balcony railing blocks the view. No privacy on balcony. No tub, just a shower. Polyester sheets, not cotton. The wines are barely drinkable. They offered to put moscato in the port at the wine tasting if it was too thick. I liked the wines and food at nearby Avondale better. I'll save my money next time and go to Napa. If you think a glass of cheap moscato at checkin is great, this is the place for you. read more

We celebrated my son's and daughter in law wedding at Ponte this Saturday. It was really wonderful. The Staff- Austin, Christina (sorry don't remember the others) were very accommodating and tried to make us happy. Appreciated that. The food was good. One suggestion: the bride and groom didn't have a chance to taste the food. The restaurant should pack it to go for them. The place is beautiful. I liked the Tempranillo and the Moscato . Only disappointment was Steve the DJ. Not entertaining, and not reacting to my requests. Looking forward to coming back . read more

Every aspect of my Ponte experience was great! The initial phone calls to make our reservations, on-site greeting with a glass of sparkling wine, the staff, fantastic food, and the amazing view! I loved that it is within walking distance of South Coast Winery since I really like their wines. Dining choices are good and portions sizes are large so I would recommend splitting them unless you are really hungry. Every meal we had here was wonderful The weather was warm so we dined outside and it was great! I look forward to going back again soon. read more

Restful and amazing. Truly a boutique hotel with every comfort imaginable. They recently expanded and the only thing I will say is that their restaurant Bouquet needs to keep up with that pace, does not seem equipped or staffed to deal with more people/full capacity. Exemplary accommodations and staff in a beautiful setting. Found nothing lacking in our king patio room, though more privacy on the patio itself would be nice. Luckily, if we had next door neighbors, we did not hear or see them! And the bed was divine! When I booked our stay at Ponte Vineyard Inn for my best friend's bachelorette weekend, I couldn't have imaged how beautiful and serene it would be. We were blown away by the friendliness of the staff (who provided sparkling champagne when we checked in!), the quality of the hotel room, and, above all, the view from our room. It was an absolutely beautiful place to stay and explore. The only complaint we had the whole weekend how long it took for our breakfast to arrive at out table at the Bouquet Restaurant. This is a minor complaint because the food was delicious when it came out, despite the biscuits not arriving until after we paid the check (we all ordered our meals specifically for the biscuits but caught them at a time when they just put some in the oven. Luckily, they provided us with several to-go). Overall, we had a pleasant stay and I'm already planning my next adventure there! read more

There were 5 of us girls staying at this hotel for our wine tasting weekend and everything went so well. The hotel has a great bar, brunch spot and wine tasting room. The views are amazing as well. It has a very cozy feel since it's not huge and it's so close to everything. Their special touches are what make them stand out. For instance, it was my friend's birthday that weekend and the hotel staff made sure to place 2 bottle of wines in our room. They also pop a bottle for you at check-in. If we HAD to be picky about something, the lack of a pool was really felt since we were there in August and we were feeling the heat. They have a lot of weddings, though, so maybe it's a noise issue? Unfortunately, neighboring South Coast Winery doesn't offer guest passes for their grounds on Saturdays or Sundays, so no access to pools. Overall, though, such a great experience. I got married at Villa de Amore on 6/11/16 and we stayed at a Grand Suite at Ponte Vineyard Inn. It was absolutely perfect. Before we booked it, the staff was kind enough to take us around to a few different rooms so we can see what they look like. I liked it a lot better than the suites at South Coast Winery because the rooms were bright, beautiful and a mix of classic and modern - very "bridal" for our getting ready photos. We went with one of the Grand Suites to have as much space as possible. It has a comfortable king bed, 2 full bathrooms, 2 balconies, a large dining table, a few different seating areas, a fireplace, a wine fridge, and awesome views. The place is so big it even has its own doorbell! We wanted the large space because I was getting ready with my bridesmaids and mother in law there on the day of the wedding. The makeup artists and hair stylists had plenty of space to work. We also invited our guests there prior to our rehearsal dinner for cocktails. The staff helped bring us 20 champagne flutes and extra wine glasses. We held our rehearsal dinner at The Restaurant at Ponte outdoors and had a semi private section for our 3 tables of guests. The food was fantastic and the coordinator helped print our names and a special message on top of our menus. Other benefits - you get glasses of Moscato when you check in, they gave us a pair of free wine tasting tickets, they gifted us a bottle of Moscato to celebrate our wedding, they have L'occitane toiletry products which are great, you can buy Ponte wine in the lobby, and they were able to coordinate early check in and late check out for us. What a beautiful place with fantastic staff. We can't wait to plan a trip to go back! read more

After reading pretty good reviews on Yelp, we were excited to spend our first night in Temecula at the Ponte Vineyard Inn. Price was a little more than we wanted to spend but it would be worth it if the Inn was very nice. We ended up being very disappointed. Although the room was large and the bathroom very nice, the furniture (sofa and chair especially) were quite dirty. We put towels down to sit on it. At checkout when we complained, we were told it shouldn't have been like that and they would have manager go take a look at it. Not sure how that was going to help us. I was surprised they didn't offer a complimentary breakfast to make us feel better, but it wasn't mentioned. We left the property and went in town to find breakfast. I wouldn't recommend Ponte Inn due to the worn out feeling of the rooms, poor service and price for what they deliver. read more

We really loved this place. It was immaculate and the service was friendly. We ate at The Restaurant at Ponte & had the meat & cheese starter and the steak flatbread. They were both great. The wine was so good I joined their club. There is just one thing people should know...the deluxe double room that is described as having an oversized balcony with 2 chaise lounges may be directly over the Bouquet restaurant so be careful when booking because it is loud in the morning. The description says pond/vineyard view so it seems like a great deal...I know better, you get what you pay for. We will be back but will not do the same room. read more

My daughter and I stayed here last weekend and we were more than impressed with everything about this place! We were greeted with smiles and a delicious glass of moscato. We were escorted to our room where we were told about the amenities of our room. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony that had a beautiful view of the courtyard along with the pond and vineyard. The staff was very pleasant. The restaurants on site were fantastic and the Cellar Lounge was a good way to end our nights! A must stay in my book! read more

As we drove home from a pleasant stay at Ponte, I realized that I had left my necklace in the hotel room. I called and explained to Brittney that I left my necklace in the bathroom on the counter under the towels. She said she would contact housekeeping and would call me back in 30 minutes. Upon check in we were given 2 complimentary glasses of Moscato. The service was quick, polite, classy and courteous. Our Room was beautiful, spacious and our patio overlooked the vineyard. The soaps and shampoos smelled delightful, the walk in shower was spacious, the sheets were of the highest quality, there were plenty of pillows and there was an assortment of coffees and teas. The room was very tastefully decorated, in an understated, yet refined Tuscan/Southern California decor. It was truly wonderfully sublime. read more

A group of 8 of us booked Ponte Inn very last minute for this past Memorial Weekend holiday. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with the hotel & the staff. Everyone was so friendly & helpful & ready to help us with any questions we had. The grounds are beautiful!! Peaceful & elegant, loved the decor. The rooms are huge!! Not a normal size hotel room. We stayed in 2 rooms that were connecting to be with our friends & the staff was great at accommodating our request. The hotel is very new, so I don't think anyone can complain about stuff not being done yet. That's what you get when you stay at a brand new Inn. The Bar Cellar was open for us & did serve food & it was great, a little pricey, but a great place to end your day. We wine tasted in the tasting room, we decided to become Wine Members & wine tasted in the Reserve Room. We did the Winery Tour & all the staff there was just as wonderful. Our group has all decided we will be back soon & we're hoping to plan our next stay there again. I wish I took everyone's name, but I didn't. But Michele in Guest Services & Abby in the wine tasting area helped make our stay excellent!! read more

Ponte was kind enough to respond to this review with a "do-over": a free night's stay. Took advantage of it over the Labor Day weekend, and I'm happy to report that the problems I mentioned in my first review have been completely ironed out. No jackhammers in the morning, the grounds are finished, the restaurants are opened--the Cellar Lounge is particularly awesome--and the customer service issues were gone. I have to say I'm a little puzzled by the reviews that mention thin walls. The walls seem a little thicker than most hotel walls, actually. There was a loud and raucous wedding party staying in the adjacent rooms, and we were worried about this at first. We heard them a little, but their sounds were very muffled in comparison to other places I've stayed, where you can hear every creak, ruffle, and noise. This was more like hearing something through water. (Maybe these reviewers don't stay at hotels very much. You're never going to get perfect quiet. I don't care how much you pay. Sorry.) The grounds are remarkably spacious and quiet: we felt at times like we were the only people there, although I know we weren't. I've stayed at South Coast before, and now that the Inn at Ponte has had some time to get its act together, I would call it far, far superior to the South Coast villas, which are beginning to seem a little run-down and dated. And since the wine and the food are both an order of magnitude better than South Coast's, I'd say that this is the pretty clear choice for a wine country stay. read more

Had the pleasure of celebrating my nieces wedding at this venue. The place is beautifully located in Temecula wineries. From the hotel to the winery this place is picturesque. The entire experience was wonderful. The food served at the reception was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. The staff treated us wonderfully. If it's for a wedding or even just to visit and enjoy some wine I would highly recommend you stop. I only had one item I thought was what others not myself would complain about but after talking with a staff member that is soon to be changed so let's just say this place is perfect. read more

I have never written a review and I've a been yelper for many many many years. #1st review and why u ask? I felt completely disgusted but the treatment of me and my friends at the bar at the inn. As guest of the hotel we assumed it was ok to get a cocktail at the bar at 1020pm. So we ordered a round of shots, then asked the Bartendar Phillip if we could order. He asked us "if" we ordered drinks what we would like. First of all if u aren't gonna serve us don't ask than come out and say last call was 10mins after u just served us a shot. Then he proceeded to talk to his manager. Then told us he thought we were too intoxicated to drink. "U just gave us shots!!!!" I don't understand if we are are staying at the hotel and none one is driving anywhere why does it matter how much we drink. Also no one was being loud or dancing an tables we were all sitting down. The loudest noise we made was when we toasted. LooK We are all NICU nurses with stressful jobs and this place was suppose to be a release from the stress for our friends bday (who is a member of this winery, so thnk twice about joining). Instead all it did has become the cause of the stress and has created an annoying and frustrating situation for all of us. Never stay here. It's Pretty strict also here where they try to tell u how u can and cannot speak. Also the bartender to served a family with 2 small children (in a baR o_O) COCKTAILS before he would even discussed our drinks with us. But that's ok, I guess they are family oriented here. Look idk if it's cause we are a group of 6girls who look young (when our actual ages range from 29-33) or what but I feel super pretty disrespected. read more

It has taken me about a week to find the words to express just how incredible Christina Hodges (wedding coordinator) and Ponte Vineyard Inn and their team are. This could/ will get lengthy. I have been in the hospitality industry since I was 15 years old, thats half my life. I have worked on all ends of the spectrum from tiny golf courses in no-where-ville Michigan to franchises like Holiday Inn to Wynn Las Vegas and the Bellagio in Las Vegas. I have never in my personal life or in my work experience seen such a FLAWLESS team. From the grounds keeper to the front desk and on down the line... to the tasting room employees, THE WEDDING COORDINATOR (*cough cough Christina, I'll get to you ;) , and the entire EVENT STAFF. First, I need to start with (in my eyes) the most valuable person at this entire property, Miss Christina Hodges. I know gold when I see gold, and she's GOLD! Don't let this woman leave you Ponte. Upon my first meeting with Christina (a venue tour) I connected with her immediately. It probably took 30 seconds. I could just tell that she knew what she was doing. She was not only beautiful but poised, well spoken and extremely knowledgeable about her property as well as Temecula. After changing our wedding date from a Sunday to Monday Christina informed me that she would have to pass us on to a fellow coordinator. I couldn't let her go. I asked if there was anyway she could continue to work with us and she agreed! Having been in the industry for a long time you can just tell when someone has "IT". SHE HAS IT! I must have sent this woman 50 e-mails over the 6 month course of planning my wedding. She never faltered. Never seemed annoyed when I would change my mind or ask her a million questions as brides I'm sure do. She always went out of her way to meet my needs and then some. There's so much more to say but for the sake of length lets skip to the wedding weekend. Our wedding was on a Monday, rehearsal being Sunday early morning. So we arrived at Ponte Saturday afternoon. Christina was already hard at work getting ready for another wedding to being. She saw me in the lobby and took the time to stop and give me a big hug. We talked a little about a recent e-mail I had sent her and I remember thinking WOW! as she walked away. Even in the middle of another event, with a wedding the following day and mine two days after that she remembered the minor details we had left to discuss without having notes or a computer in front of her. TALENT. It's just that extra something that really makes you feel confident in someone. The day of came and as nervous as I was (not about marriage just about everything going well) just seeing her gave me peace of mind. She flawlessly lead everyone to their spots, perfectly spacing them out as they walked down to the alter. Then again she was there leading us all in pair by pair as we were announced into the reception room. Slightly funny the DJ skipped our made of honor and best man and went right to us. I'll never forget Christina saying to them (with a smile) "Sorry, you've been skipped step aside." I walked in as Mrs. Martinelli laughing my butt off. So cool, so calm, and no one in the room even realized anyone has gotten skipped. Thats a professional! Before she left for the evening she introduced me to her banquet captain and said her goodbyes. This girl honestly made THE WEDDING OF MY DREAMS. No joke. Not to be corny but it was even better than I had expected. Actually, a million times better than I had expected! The Vineyard Inn is a beautiful hotel. There staff is also incredible. Everything I had asked for, even months in advance (like a steamer for our dresses, a wheel chair for my Gram) was there upon arrival. They always stand when you walk into the lobby which I'm sure is annoying for them but really makes you feel special. The hotel is SPOTLESS! Im really weird about hotels being that I have been in so many and this one passes all of my secret inspections lol :) Good Job Ponte! There wines are incredible, the food at the wedding was served hot and fresh. No dried out banquet chicken here! Also, I noticed that if someone wasn't in their seat when their table was being served they waited to bring the plate until the person sat. And I don't mean the person sat and looked around like 'wheres my food'. They hardly sat and boom! Food. It was incredible. I could go on forever about this place. But if you are considering this venue for a wedding or any other event. Just do it! I promise you, you will never regret it. One last thing. Ms. Sarah Martinez (General Manager) I never received the pleasure of meeting you but I just know you must be one extraordinary woman and professional to run such a PERFECT venue and team. My experience with Ponte vineyard inn started a little rough with several phone calls to initially set and confirm reservations but once from there on out it was amazing. Beautiful hotel and great customer service. I had a breakfast basket delivered to our room and I must have changed the delivery time at least 3 times and they were pleasant and obliging. The room was so nice and the view was beautiful. The restaurant at the vineyard was delicious and we enjoyed the bar in the cellar. My only complaint were the pipes in the neighboring rooms but for the most part it was perfect! read more

I want to give this beautiful inn 5 stars based on the very helpful and happy service, and of course the grounds and peacefulness, but the price is just to high. The staff at the front desk were great. They gave us the bottle of wine from Ponte that we really wanted at no extra up-charge, and delivered it to our room with a lengthy handwritten birthday note to my girlfriend. That was a great touch. The grounds were prefect and beautiful, yet very simple. I'm a bit disappointed in the price for the room. I was expecting a much larger room for the price and maybe a bit more in the amenities department. I'm not picky by any means, but for close to $400 per night I wanted more. I Ponte becomes more reasonably priced for what they offer, because I would like to come back, but not for that price. Other than that we did enjoy our stay, and the staff was great. Spent my birthday at this lovely hotel. It was perfect from the time we walked in. At check-in we were offered Moscato (free of charge) and we were checked in very quickly. The hotel is nicely decorated and very peaceful to stay in. We were on the second floor with an awesome view on the vineyard and wine tasting room. The balcony had furniture to sit on. The room was fabulous, clean and with all the essentials. I believe we stayed in the suite room, so it was bigger. The room had a comfortable bed, refrigerator, kurige for coffee, two tvs, and they gave us 2 bottles of complimentary wine. The hotel has a fitness center, restaurant, and cellar bar/lounge in the basement. On our last night they had some unforseen circumstances and did not have room service or the bar open, therefore they gave us free breakfast the next day by the wine tasting room. The breakfast was awesome, so yummy!!! We had the best view while having breakfast. It was just gorgeous. We also requested a microwave late at night and they were able to bring one to the room. Just one thing I wish they told us at check-in was more about what the hotel offers, for example, didn't know they had fire pits in the courtyard, bar in the basement, and lounge chairs to sit out side. We went back for another stay at the INN....now a month later there is so much more in place! We had a great stay!! We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night and looking at the stars!!! It was peaceful and relaxing! We enjoyed working out in the workout room!! We each got our own TV....what more could you ask for! We sat out on our Patio and enjoyed the sunsetting over the vines...Loved it all!! we also went to the Cellar Lounge and had some amazing cocktails and yummy food! Fried Squash Blossoms...who knew??? Got to have them... The lobby is so beautiful and a great place to sit and enjoy the other guests. We can't wait for our next stay! read more

We stayed here the night before and night of our wedding. The grounds are absolutely amazing! We had a lower level room with a balcony that nearly touched the grape vines. The room was spotless and the bathroom was huge! Everything was very clean and tidy. The staff were extremely helpful in checking us in and making sure we had everything we needed. They genuinely took an interest in us even though we were not getting married there. I would go back again in no time! read more

I took my wife her for our 10th wedding anniversary and I have to say that this was the best decision I could've made. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for our stay. The courtyard was amazing. We sat by one of the fire pits for about an hour. This is a nice Inn, clean, and great location for wine tasting. We visited on January 1, 2013 which was nice as everyone had checked out and it wasn't busy. Based on other reviews we requested and got room 211. This is a King Junior Suite. It is a corner room which is nice in one way because there is only one wall with an adjoining room. Makes it a little quieter. The fact that the bath is on an outside wall could also account for the bathroom being so cold in the morning that we didn't even want to go in to...well, you know all then things you go into the bathroom for! Now to be fair we sleep without heat at night, BUT we had it on 78 for a few hours before leaving and the bathroom never warmed up. Speaking of the bathroom, there is a shower big enough in this room to fit a close-knit family of 6! Problem is they would have to take turns under the ONE shower head. I certainly would have expected 2 and some side jets would have been great too. With the shower head that is in there, you can only use the first 2 feet of the shower so the rest is a waste! Next the bathroom door is almost full milk glass, except for the frame. This is very inconvenient for us early risers married to those who aren't. Light and noise spills out into the room. I'm just wondering what their designer was thinking of when they made these 2 decisions. Now neither of these things would prevent me from returning, but sure made me scratch my head and wonder. I would guess all the other baths have the same door, don't know about shower. If you don't need the extra space then just get a regular room. The junior suite has a nice little sitting area but does not have a wall or door (which we knew) but again of no privacy benefit when one person rises first. With this room in particular, I was disappointed with the view. Walk out on the balcony. To the immediate left is the parking lot, straight is the tasting room and finally to the left is the vineyard. I think the rooms in the back overlooking the pond and vineyard would be best, but they might also be noisiest since people may congregate out there especially in summer. Finally, we went to happy hour in the Cellar Room. Decent value. We ordered nachos and sliders. Nachos were cold and sliders were tepid at best. Would not get nachos again, as they weren't anything to write home about, but sliders were tasty. Just be sure to order with a side of "heat"! All staff were accommodating. That had been a complaint on some reviews. Only the girl who checked us out seemed a little stressed. Otherwise, no issues. Next time I'd request a back room (you can request, they don't guarantee). I'd go back, but I'm not so married to the idea that I wouldn't check out other options first. I know there are some grammatical errors in this review, like mixing numerals with spelling out numerals, but putting a simple "1" for the one shower head just didn't seem strong enough. :) read more
