I threw my son's 4th bday party and he wanted a tractor/ barnyard theme. So we found a venue with a cool old barn and hired a petting zoo for the kids. We were limited in space with the bounce house, seating for 60, adopt an animal balloon farm and all the food and beverages. But they made it work! They set up on the side and brought goats, pot bellied pigs (my son's favorite,) bunnies and chickens. They were great. They had stuff to wash your hands after the petting and made sure both the kids and the animals were safe. It was a great experience and very affordable. Booked this petting zoo weekend activity at a nursing home today Sunday. Sarah and Jose are the best they came on time set up quick and they were friendly with the seniors & staff. Sarah was so sweet telling us all the pet names. She cleaned up after the animals. The whole two hours the animals were interacting and you can feed them which is such a cute and fun thing to do. The animals are well kept clean and it doesn't smell like a barn. We had a great time and we would definitely recommend booking them. Also they respond quick and overall great team! read more

John was friendly and patient with me in getting me set up for the petting zoo. He was very responsive and even accommodated my request for a piglet the last minute. He showed up half hr before the scheduled time to set up. The animals were sooooo utterly cute and clean. The petting zoo was a big hit at my daughter's 9th birthday party and John made it happen for me. He was patient with the kids, and the kids were ecstatic and had a blast! This review is long overdue! Marshmallow and Kezz helped make my daughter's 4th birthday party so special! We were throwing a Bluey themed birthday party and had to have "Buttermilk" there (from the Markets episode). It was a blast!! All the kids loved having rides around the backyard and we got to take some amazing pictures!! If anyone is considering a pony / animal party.... As the host, be aware of heat and cold conditions.... Be sure to ask what their animals need and provide enough shade and water for the animals. We got a bale of alfalfa from the local feed store and donated it to Marshmallow when it was time for him to go. The hay was cool because the kids fed him a little bit and gave us a place for people to sit for pictures. The whole day was amazing! Thank you Kezz and Marshmallow for a memorable party! read more

We booked ponyparty4kids for our 4 year old daughter's birthday party. Marshmallow was a lovely pony, and the kids enjoyed riding her. The pony handler asked for beers two times during the party while handling children in front of other parents. Of course, both times, we told her that she is not permitted to drink while handling children. After the party concluded, I texted John about this, and he replied "okay ty for the heads up." I think an apology or some goodwill gesture would have been more than appropriate. The pony and its handler stayed about 90 minutes after the party ended in our front yard/driveway while awaiting a pickup. That wasn't disclosed at the time of booking, and it was a bit awkward. Finally, a mess of hay was left in the middle of our street. I asked for it to be cleaned up before their departure, and a meager attempt was made, though most of it was still left for us to tidy up. read more

TWO bunnies died during the party. One appeared to be sat on and injured by the pig. This bunny was not removed and ended up dying, most likely from overheating. The second bunny tried to escape (probably as it knew it was going to die from heat stroke), got its head stuck in the fence, then injured itself trying to get out. The bunny screamed very loudly and some of the guests were very upset. The younger attendant was super friendly and truly seemed to care about the animals. He was constantly trying to cool down the animals and keep them comfortable. I'm not sure why they didn't have a canopy or anything for shade. If it wasn't for the two dead bunnies, one of which we had to sit and literally watch die, this would have been a fantastic experience. The attendants commented that they have hundreds of bunnies at the farm. Clearly, two dead bunnies means nothing to this company. With so many traveling petting zoos available for about the same price, I'd seriously recommend going elsewhere until the owner demonstrates he understands how to care for his animals. read more

While I did not use this company for my child's 2nd birthday, John really tried to assist us with booking an event when another vendor "overbooked us" after we made a reservation over a month in advance within 24 hours of the party. John went out of his way to make something work for us and reached out hours later to try and see if we still needed a booking for us. THIS is basic good business. So in the future, I would recommend this company for anyone looking to book their next party with this party based on good business practices. After reading other reviews, it seems like this happens more than it ever should. So save yourself the stress and heart ache! THESE GUYS SAVED THE PARTY! This past weekend my sister in law threw a 1st bday/baptism party for my nephew and the original pony/petting zoo she booked cancelled on her the morning of the party! Pony Party 4 Kids responded quickly to my sister in law's phone call. Not only were they able to come at the time we needed, but their animals were SUPER FRIENDLY, not trying to run away from you. The bunnies liked to be cuddled and the goats loved being fed and would even get on your lap. The two guys who came were very professional, very friendly. The weather wasn't ideal with it being cold with some light showers but they were such great sports about it. It was overall a GREAT EXPERIENCE for them coming last minute like they did. read more

Right from the start, JR was easy to talk with, very understanding to my situation and location, answered all of my questions and gave me a quote tailored to what I wanted for my 5 year old daughter's birthday.
