I took a few bites and ultimately left both sides untouched. My wife ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese burrito. We were surprised to learn it used mozzarella cheese rather than Oaxacan cheese. Different, but not necessarily bad. What caught us off guard was the inclusion of red bell peppers throughout the burrito, which wasn't disclosed on the menu. Again, not a deal breaker, but something worth noting. The potatoes were also a bit firm and could have benefited from a few more minutes on the griddle. The shining star of the meal was the blueberry pancakes. These are true pancakes--not diner-style flapjacks--and they were absolutely loaded with blueberry compote, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. The portion was large enough for all three of my children to share, and they disappeared quickly. Will I return? Possibly. No matter how busy, the wait is never long but your food is made to order. They have an abundant salsa bar and, if you sit outside, an employee is cooking up something on a plancha. We don't know what. We have only ever sat inside or carried our tacos home. Next door there's a modern bakery next door with cakes, bars, cookies and traditional Hispanic treats.
