I'm not giving y'all the dog back, it clearly wasn't taken care of while at your store. Poor little boy had to go to multiple vet appointments to get through all the issues. He is happy and healthy now thankfully. I spent more money on vet bills than the 3k I spent on getting the puppy. FYI Don't buy a dog during the time between Christmas and New Years. Vets are closed. You end up at emergency vets or pet emergency centers. Response: I spoke to the store location due to my concerns for the other puppies housed with my puppy and had multiple correspondence with a Crystal. They did not seem concerned about the other puppies and just told me to wait to see the vet they referred me to the following Monday. The emergency vet said he wouldn't have survived the night, so waiting till Monday would have been fatal. I stopped responding when I realized she didn't care about the puppy just the money.

They said they wouldn't give us our deposit back but for an extra $1500 they could give us a similar dog. Huge scam, I should've listened. They do this other people to up sale. We had a budget for a dog we were promised and now they blocked our calls and told me they can sell me a more expensive dog or I can stop calling for my refund. This place is a joke. Very money hungry shop.

After meeting up with Yvette I was given 8 hours to make my decision. I asked if I could see Nachos vet records with no reply. That was already a red flag. I took a day to think and I was ready to adopt. Yvette said he was no longer available, however he remained on the website. When I mentioned this she did not respond. I showed up to the adoption event the next week and there he was!! I feel if they truly cared about the animals they would be accommodating and work harder to rehome. Overall, I believe Lost Paws is running a sketchy business. The whole interaction with Yvette was very off putting. My heart breaks for Nacho as I was ready to adopt and give him a great new home and all the love!!

She responded to my…read morefirst email and claimed the dog we were interested in had a family coming to look at him. However, he remained on their website. I contacted them again and was ignored. My daughter went to their rescue event at Petsmart that weekend and the dog was there for adoption. My daughter inquired about adopting the dog and she was totally ignored and was never contacted about the adoption. In fact, the owner blocked her. I have no idea what her issue was. I feel if she actually cared about the animals, she would do everything possible to get her dogs adopted. We are dog people. My daughter showed dogs in 4-h. We have always had dogs. It's just crazy how this woman is treating potential customers because we're not her first bad review. It makes me question her motives.

Proceed with caution…read more We adopted a dog from this rescue in September. He started showing aggression towards our daughter shortly after. We did everything we knew to do to change this behavior. We thought we had it under control and then one day while I was in the restroom, he snapped at her. We decided to give it one more try, sought advice from our vet and changed a few more things. A week later, my husband was playing with him in the back yard and the dog bit his thigh, ripped his pants and almost pulled him to the ground. We decided then it was no longer safe to keep the dog and did what we were supposed to do according to our adoption agreement... we called the rescue to surrender him. They told us that they were looking for a foster and after 10 days, my husband reached back out and told them they needed to pick him up asap. After receiving that email, this is what was posted about us and our dog. I was appalled at the fact that they would slander us in this way. Not only that, they never mention anything about him not being left alone with children. As far as us moving, this was known prior to the adoption. He was coming with us and they knew it. For them to turn that into a lie is disgusting. We truly loved our dog and took very good care of him, trying to give him the best life we could. If you adopt from this organization and find yourself with aggressive behavior, be sure to document all of it with videos and text messages. I only wish we would have.

The staff works hard to help them flourish and thrive, giving each one the best possible chance of finding a forever home. The team is experienced, dedicated, and many of them have been here for years. Their knowledge and commitment are evident in the care they provide every day. I also love that they offer spay and neuter services. Helping prevent unwanted litters is one of the most effective ways to reduce the overwhelming number of kittens entering shelters and, in the long term, helps decrease the need for euthanasia. I highly recommend supporting or adopting from this shelter. They also accept donations, which directly help provide food, medical care, and other essentials for animals who desperately need it. Every adoption, donation, or act of support truly makes a difference.

If I could leave a zero-star review, I would. I want to spread awareness: Plano Animal Services…read morekilled my dog, Bella. Bella was a 12-year-old German Shepherd. She ran away from home and ended up in the shelter for about a week. Because of whatever policies Plano has, they spayed her. Bella was 11, and it is incredibly high-risk to alter dogs at that age. Because of that decision, a few weeks later, Bella developed cancer. We took her to the vet to get checked out, and they told us how much the cancer treatment would cost. They also confirmed that when you spay older dogs like this, they are at a very high risk of developing cancer. Ultimately, she died. I had to put her down because she was in so much pain. Mark my words, Plano Animal Services, karma will come for you. May Bella rest in peace. I will never forgive y'all. Bella was healthy. She was my childhood dog, and I had her ever since I was almost 7 years old. Now, I am crossing the stage for my high school graduation today without her here--she is just watching over me instead.
