I initially fostered dogs for them, which was a good experience. They provide food for dogs you are fostering. I eventually adopted a dog from Pooch Savers. They are very supportive. I will forever support this rescue. They are amazing. They have adoption events every Saturday and Sunday at the Petsmart on Park and DNT in Plano from 1-5. You can fill out an application online ahead of time to get approved to adopt. After you are approved, you can adopt same day. But you are under no obligation when filling out the application. I highly recommend fostering or adopting a dog from Pooch Savers!

And since I live outside of Texas (in Kansas), the rescue even arranged transport for Max by working with Pilots for Paws, a group of pilots who volunteer to fly adopted dogs to their new homes. Max was flown from Dallas to where I live in Manhattan, Kansas! It was an amazing experience from start to finish! I can't recommend this Little Dog Rescue enough. They are extremely thorough, providing any veterinary care needed by the animal from vaccinations, to spay/neuter services and even to surgery that the animal may need. They provide detailed information, both in writing and verbally, regarding their expectations are for the foster/adoption experience. This is the best and most caring rescue group I've ever worked with.

After meeting up with Yvette I was given 8 hours to make my decision. I asked if I could see Nachos vet records with no reply. That was already a red flag. I took a day to think and I was ready to adopt. Yvette said he was no longer available, however he remained on the website. When I mentioned this she did not respond. I showed up to the adoption event the next week and there he was!! I feel if they truly cared about the animals they would be accommodating and work harder to rehome. Overall, I believe Lost Paws is running a sketchy business. The whole interaction with Yvette was very off putting. My heart breaks for Nacho as I was ready to adopt and give him a great new home and all the love!!

However, he remained on their website. I contacted them again and was ignored. My daughter went to their rescue event at Petsmart that weekend and the dog was there for adoption. My daughter inquired about adopting the dog and she was totally ignored and was never contacted about the adoption. In fact, the owner blocked her. I have no idea what her issue was. I feel if she actually cared about the animals, she would do everything possible to get her dogs adopted. We are dog people. My daughter showed dogs in 4-h. We have always had dogs. It's just crazy how this woman is treating potential customers because we're not her first bad review. It makes me question her motives.

They really are thorough in matching their pets with the right family. Correspondence was excellent and I was put on a waitlist as other families were also interested in Benny. The staff are friendly and professional and took the time in the meet and greet to get to know about me and my sweetheart Cavachon Chloe. You could say Benny picked us and it instantly melted my heart. It was a match made in Heaven and I'll always be eternally grateful.
