They really are thorough in matching their pets with the right family. Correspondence was excellent and I was put on a waitlist as other families were also interested in Benny. The staff are friendly and professional and took the time in the meet and greet to get to know about me and my sweetheart Cavachon Chloe. You could say Benny picked us and it instantly melted my heart. It was a match made in Heaven and I'll always be eternally grateful. And since I live outside of Texas (in Kansas), the rescue even arranged transport for Max by working with Pilots for Paws, a group of pilots who volunteer to fly adopted dogs to their new homes. Max was flown from Dallas to where I live in Manhattan, Kansas! It was an amazing experience from start to finish! I can't recommend this Little Dog Rescue enough. They are extremely thorough, providing any veterinary care needed by the animal from vaccinations, to spay/neuter services and even to surgery that the animal may need. They provide detailed information, both in writing and verbally, regarding their expectations are for the foster/adoption experience. This is the best and most caring rescue group I've ever worked with.

Dr. Michalk is an absolute Angel…read more I have known her for the past 24 years. Her calm, compassionate demeanor brings peace and comfort to my anxious heart. She has seen both of my fur babies - Milo and Donny - throughout their life from the puppy stage through their senior years. Her approach and interaction with animals is such a joy to see. She has a wealth of knowledge and I have a high level of trust and confidence in her ability to provide the best care. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients. She is Family. The staff (past and present) is so kind and patient. Avery, Linda, Meg, Roger, Kate, Amanda, and Celeste were there at the drop of a hat to answer questions about my fur baby. We also got the chance to know Chad and Lauren. We lost Milo to bladder cancer at the age of 13 on December 3, 2015. He no longer had a quality of life, so we made the difficult decision to send him over the Rainbow Bridge. I felt like I lost a piece of me that day. Dr. Michalk's Office was so empathetic and caring. They let us spend as much time as we wanted with him. If it hadn't been for Dr. Michalk communicating with other vets, Donny would not have received the wonderful Medical care at the facilities where he was admitted. It all began with a tooth root abscess. We were referred to Dr. Donnelly at VEI Plano. He was then referred to MEDVET and then VCA Specialty Hospital where he had, as recently as Mid-March, been receiving radiation treatments which were going well until last week. He was admitted to VCA on Friday morning, May 1st for low platelets, lethargy, and lack of appetite. Upon Friday's ct scan, it showed several tumors in his abdomen, spleen, and perforations in his colon. On May 1, 2026, we made the difficult decision to send him over the Rainbow Bridge, given his rapidly deteriorating condition over the course of that day. I am heartbroken.

After spending $800 for two separate visits, my cat started losing control her bowels and urinating all over my house. I made the painful decision to have her euthanized and called to have them do the procedure. They said I had to have an appointment first to "discuss the situation" This is no one's decision but mine. I felt like they did not respect my decision and how painful and hard it was to do. I feel that they want to collect as much money as they can. I will never go back and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I looked at her and said, I've never been threatened by a vet to quarantine my dog, who has always been up to date with all his shots. She said that was standard protocol when an animal bites them. One, I'm not Caucasian, and I know a micro aggression when I hear one, so strike one. I let it go, but it seems every time I took him to this vet, the bill would be astronomical. I have every receipt and never paid UNDER $300. They apologize and say they don't set the prices. A little less than a month ago, I took my fur baby back to this vet for an update on shots, nail trim, eye issues and an ear infection. The meds they gave didn't work, and the ear meds made it worse. The place is NEVER packed, maybe one or two patients would be there at the same time I was. They'll never get my business again. Look at patterns in these comments and the lowest stars are from people of color. Take your fur kids to ANOTHER vet. If I could give NO stars to this hospital, I absolutely would. The service is awful depending who you are, pricey and my dog means the world to me. I would never trust them again with his health.

Im not sure how long this dog had been outside but from the time I recorded to the time they got him, it was at least 30 minutes. The vet is supposed to be the best place for your dogs, freezing in this weather is cruelty. Shame on this place. I'd never want to bring my dog here just to have them die there from freezing temperatures.
