We bought a house with a pool that had been neglected for several years. Chris, the owner, came out and did a free inspection. He reviewed what needed to be done and we agreed to hire PCS to go down the list of repairs. The repairs were done well and in a timely fashion. In one case where a problem persisted, PCS stood behind their work and came back for free (actually several times for what turned out to be a difficult problem). We hired PCS to do our regular pool service as well as repairs and installing new equipment. PCS is not the least expensive service in the valley but they are honest and the work is first rate. Vaughn has been our pool person for several years. He shows up on time twice a week and is very efficient. He has identified issues with the pool components that needed attention before they failed. He cleans our pool filter on schedule. We have had no pool algae and he cleans so well that we have no water line buildup. He vacuums at least once a week even when we think the pool is clean. read more

What a joke Chris and his team are! Our pool pit flooded and we had to take matters into our own hands as they are completely inept at what they do: -We had to order a pool pump as they said they could not. -They installed the pool pump and set the timers wrong so pump wasn't functioning! -Said they could fix the heater, ordered parts with out our authorization, attempted to fix it and it worked for 5 minutes then stopped as soon as the guys left the residence. Turns out the reason it stopped working as they installed a faulty igniter (wonder where that came from....YEP Chris)! We even tipped them! -Sent me an invoice which I refused to pay as the heater is still broken. -Now has discontinued service with us as they are incapable of doing their work or standing behind any work that they do! Now will be sued! -All they love to do is bill, bill, bill, schedule service and don't show up, order unauthorized parts, and do not stand behind their work! Find someone you trust but buyer beware it should not be Chris nor the team at Pool Care Solutions! We hired this company and signed a monthly agreement that they would maintain our pool twice a week for $135/month. I kept a log of the maintenance each week. They came three times in March starting on the 13th., but charged us for 6 times. Then, in April they came one time and charged us for 3 visits. I have maintained our pool for years and know when it has been cleaned. On the days they claimed it had been cleaned, there was still plenty of debris in it. Please think twice before using this service. There are plenty of very well honest pool cleaners out there in the Coachella Valley. read more

Our pool pump developed a leak and I thought it would need to be replaced. Pool Care Solutions sent a tech - Luis - out to give an estimate. He said it could be repaired and did not need to be replaced. He came back with some new parts and the pump was repaired! Great service and a very honest repair. We have a ten year old pool in Cathedral City. We have gone thru two pump motors and two pump impellers from the original system. The two year old motor started making a 75 plus disable noise. He gave us a fair estimate with a top of the line Pentair unit because we asked for the best he had . The unit is programmable , quiet and an emergency star rating efficiency. With rebates from Edison and Pentair. The technician was polite , efficient and extremely qualified. The job was done in one day. I am a retired system engineer/Technician from a local newspaper. They came out via a home warranty call, say they rang the doorbell, but didn't make any attempt to reach me (I was home), and proceeded to diagnose NOTHING, reporting to the home warranty nothing is wrong, then they screwed up the pool/spa settings, and now screwed up my home warranty service call. We just completed a renovation of a tiled spa and couldn't be happier. They had to rip out and replace bricks around the lip of the spa, remove 3" tiles from the waterline, chip out tiles and plaster from the entire body of the spa, then replace the waterline tile and pebble coat the basin. Add to that a new light and autofill mechanism. The workmanship is top notch. The workers arrive every day early and work steadily until each phase was done. There was no mess left on any day, and they were all friendly and informative. Having priced the job with 4 or 5 other contractors, PCS was very competitive. Some parts of the job became a bit more complicated, but there was no complaining - no renegotiating, they just knuckled under and got the job done. Very pleased!! So pleased, in fact, that we are having them renovate our pool and repair and restain all of our Kool Deck. And Natalie in the office... Well, she is just the best. read more

these guys are the absolute best. again. our gardener "forgot" to come for 4 months. Even though it was inconvenient, they moved our time slot until the VERY end of the day so they could come AFTER the gardener. The pool looked like...a cess pool. I mean, if they hadn't been so accommodating, I wouldn't have even been able to use it all weekend. The guy who always comes to our house was totally happy and not at all put-out to clean MOUNDS of ficus out of the pool. I'm sure this made him work late.
