This could be a record! A 29 year review!!!! At several houses, different pools and conditions I've used Pool Chlor to treat my pools. Are they perfect...No. over the years I've dealt with two owners and countless service technicians. There have been a lot of ups and downs but, they're always come through. Recent upsets with supply chains and labor shortages have affected them like everyone else. However,they've always been responsive to an out of the ordinary phone call. Absolutely TERRIBLE company with untrained techs providing poor service, egregious uncharges on simple parts, and managers who refuse to take responsibility for their employees actions. Our tech left our pool heater on, more than once. We just got a $1500 bill from Atmos Energy because we weren't home at the time and the heater ran for days. Pool Chlor refuses to take responsibility. This tech also repeatedly left our gate open allowing our dogs to run away, marked the pool as clean when it clearly hadn't been, and broke a piece off our timer without a word and left it on the ground. 0/10 stars. Before buying my house in 2010, I had absolutely no idea how to take care of a pool and what all was involved. Who knew you had to water a pool? Anyway, we have been using Pool Chlor for all these years - except for 6 months that we got 'free cleaning' from the company that resurfaced our pool. Since going back to Pool Chlor immediately after the free service, I am just beyond happy. Our main technician is Braxton. He always does an excellent job, sending me a picture upon completion. SO DISAPPOINTED. I never write reviews but I feel like I just waisted a couple hundred dollars to a company that to me knows nothing about pools. First time pool owner, i had them come up and put chemicals in my pool ( We just had it replastered and needed new chemical pour or whatever they call it) We spent more because of that and I clearly told her I know nothing about my pool other then we need chemicals done. ( BIG mistake) They came recommended from a client of mine so i trusted they would do what they are suppose to. After 3 days it turned green and we couldn't figure out why. Come to find out ( from a different company) we have a salt water pool! We had no idea and this company didn't even bother checking! They could have cost us so much money by ruining our pump. I called to give them feedback and the lady just tells me thank you for letting her know. I Gave her an opportunity to do the right thing and give me my money back but nope, nothing. CALL someone else y'all and do your research. LESSON LEARNED, I will make sure to tell my clients TO STAY AWAY! read more

We were happy with Pool Chlor for many years until recently we caught our pool guy leaving a slip in the pool saying he had added chemicals when we saw on camera he did nothing. Because of our long time being satisfied with their service, both my husband and I contacted to tell the company what happened. Obviously they did not take us seriously because although they did send someone out in between to test our chemicals, on the following service day, the same guy showed up again and again did nothing! Considering how many people have cameras as we do today...not the smartest thing to do! We immediately cancelled and would never recommend this company for their poor customer service. read more

I've been using Pool Chlor for about a year now, it was great in the beginning, but now I have a green Pool and I cannot get them to clean it up. I called and reported the problem and it was not addressed when he came out. I've been waiting for a supervisor to call and have not heard from anyone. I'm looking for a new Pool company. Pool Chlor has been providing weekly chem treatment for my pool for over 2 years. The pool has been kept in great condition. Water is always perfect for swimming. The cost of weekly chemicals is very reasonable and I don't need to keep all those chemicals on hand (or figure out the right balance). They also provide tune ups, filter cleaning, and repairs all at reasonable prices. Perry is excellent and my go to for all issues. I want to give a big Shout Out to Pool Chlor, the pool services company we have used for the past eight years, for their quick response to our pool crisis last week. We returned from a trip to find our pool filled with algae and we had people scheduled to visit us from out of state in 2 days. Their kids were hoping to swim. I called my favorite contact at Pool Chlor, Jeremy Weadon, and he arranged for a pool technician to arrive the next morning. Apparently the filter stopped working while we were gone. Wow , just started using them this summer. They were great , came out cleaned the filter and then had weekly cleaning and chemical service . I even had them put my credit card on file for auto charges . I then had to have my pool resurfaced so I put them on hold for 3 weeks because there was no water in the pool . Now the pool is full, start up is complete and called to resume service my Monday service for 8/15/2016 and I was told they were too busy . I would have to wait 4 weeks ? They never said that when I called to tell them my pool was being resurfaced Wow I guess I will just spend my money elsewhere if they don't need my a customer anymore . It would have been nice to know ahead of time since it is 104 out and pool chemicals are a necessity at this time if year. They also just charged my credit card $ 178.61 for this month on 08/08/2016 for services never to be performed because they were too busy . read more
