I can't emphasize enough what an outstanding job Jason and the entire Pool Dawg team did on our recent pool remodel! Our old faded pool finish and cracked cement deck have been amazingly transformed into a fresh, modern oasis that is better than we could ever have imagined! Our pool space is now timeless with a beautiful pebble finish, new tile and marble coping, along with a classic paver deck that will provide lasting enjoyment for years to come! From the initial estimate, materials selection, and every phase of the four week remodel process, Jason went above and beyond to make sure the project ran smoothly and stayed on schedule. He was on site daily to monitor progress and ensure quality of workmanship. We especially appreciated his professionalism, excellent communication, followthrough, and attention to detail. Thank you Jason and Pool Dawg team, we couldn't be happier with both the experience and incredible outcome

Jason at Pool Dawg Construction did an outstanding job repairing a significant leak in our pool. From the very beginning, he helped us understand the best approach for our situation and walked us through every recommendation with patience and clarity. We had a lot of questions throughout the process, and he never rushed us and his communication was excellent the entire way. We were especially nervous about how noticeable the repairs might be and worried they would end up being an eyesore. Jason and his team exceeded every expectation. The finished repairs are far less noticeable than we anticipated, and the crack repairs themselves are would be difficult to identify for anyone who doesn't already know where they were. The workmanship was truly impressive. After fixing the major issue, Jason continued to monitor the pool's performance and helped identify and resolve smaller leaks until everything was fully corrected. He went above and beyond, showing honesty, professionalism, and genuine care for getting the job done right. It's rare to find this level of customer service these days. Highly recommend Pool Dawg Construction LLC for any of the services they provide.

Replastering a pool is no small investment, so choosing the right contractor to do the job is very important. I knew from the start the Jason was a stand-up guy, this stayed true through the entire process. He communicated every step of the way, gave accurate timelines, and when he said that he would show up, he did. He hit every single milestone on mark. I'm sure that most jobs are very similar to him, however, he made us feel that our pool was his top priority. Jason hand-selected a team of true all-stars. They treated our property with respect and didn't leave behind any messes. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. We are at 5 days after filling the pool, and Jason is still contacting us daily to see how the PH levels, etc. are going. I would recommend Pool Dawg Construction to anyone without any hesitation, 10 out of 10.

Unlike many pool builders out there, communication with Pool Dawgs was excellent. We were just about to give up on having a pool built. My wife reached out to Pool Dawgs on a Thursday. Jason visited our home in Livermore the following Saturday morning. He had a quote to us by Monday, and we signed the contract on Wednesday. The pricing was very competitive. He uses all premium products with no hidden up charges. His crews really were craftsmen. Jason personally checked all of the work and answered all of our questions. The schedule that he presented hit all of the marks and we had a beautiful pool built in six weeks. Since it has been completed, we have not had a single issue. We couldn't be happier with the pool and the entire experience was fantastic! Jason was great to work with. Having a pool built should be fun and exciting. Pool Dawgs Construction gave us that. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

COMPLETE DISASTER We…read morewere referred to Empire Pools, aka Oscar Zamudio Sanchez, by another contractor who could not take the job for health reasons. It was the worst referral we've ever received. Oscar's crew drained our pool into our neighbor's yard, which likely would have flooded their house had we not intervened. They demolished a rock wall we specifically told Oscar to preserve. And much of the work Oscar did was completely inadequate. He also vanished from the job for weeks at a time. Even worse, Oscar requested a $20,000+ deposit for work he had not completed, which is prohibited by California law. When we eventually told him we needed to find a new contractor given his poor work and lack of diligence, he had spent all the money we paid him up front. We eventually filed a small claims case against him and received a judgment, which he has made no effort to pay after 6 months. We also filed a complaint with the state licensing board. In that process, we learned that Oscar's contractor's license is already suspended due to his failure to pay an arbitration award in another matter. The information is public on the CA Contractors State Licensing Board web site. Who knows if we will ever recover the money he took from us, but anyone thinking of hiring Empire Pools should understand his history.

Why do you insist on covering a lie with a lie…read more First, Why are most wood burning stoves not UL listed? There are several standards that wood burning stoves must meet. UL listing is not a required standard for stoves, so most manufacturers elect not to have that testing done.. The UL laboratories are a private nonprofit organization that some manufacturers elect to send their products too. This certification can be costly and because the certification is not necessary for wood stoves, most manufacturers do not submit their product to Underwriters Laboratories for approval. There are only three wood-burning stoves that are UL listed Second, the only certification needed is when you install a new wood stove and that requirement is a stove certified by the EPA Third, older wood stoves are grandfathered in and there is no fire code that exist that states that you must upgrade to a new wood-burning stove when you buy or sell. If you do change out the stove, then it must be upgraded to an EPA certified stove Finally, there are manufacturers data plates that are on wood stoves that show the minimum clearances from stove to combustible materials. This particular stove met all the minimum distance requirements to combustible materials. Yes, the fireplace surround was ugly, however it was a cement fiber board that is a non-combustible material. In addition, the stove flue was exposed for the first 5 feet and is of a triple wall design which has a higher heat value. So I stand by my claim that your inspections are fraudulent, froth with misinformation, with intent to upsell or some new products to the person's home that you inspect.
