Mike was an absolute life-saver. I thought I had been dealing with a leak in my pool for months and I was avoiding every possible way to confirm that was the case. I know, reckless of me! We truly thought we were in good hands after Mike came over and inspected our pool. Came off as a standup kind of guy. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this warranted it... We had to have a skimmer replaced and a return line fixed, and, while our pool isn't leaking anymore, our deck was ruined in the process (despite assurances that they worked with pavers like ours all the time). The pictures speak for themselves. When we called him to address the apparent issues, he and his team initially told us that they did not cut the pavers and accused us of lying (which they owned up to later). The "joint material" they used blew away within less than a day. They left permanent blue marks all over our deck. Multiple pavers were chipped. It's been over two months since the job was "finished." And, despite our multiple phone calls and emails and his repeated promises to make it right, nothing has been done. Do not trust this company. I had an excellent experience with these guys! Mike and his team are fantastic. They are up front and detail all the work before anything gets done. I ended up having two leaks in my pool / hot tub which was causing me to lose about 1 hot tub's worth of water PER DAY. I requested a quote and was contacted shortly thereafter. Not only were they cost competitive, they provided services others didnt offer. We agreed on price and they were there a few days later (soonest available for them). They spent about 2-3 hours and discovered the above mentioned leaks. One in the hot tub, the other in the piping between the autofiller and the pool. They gave me a quote and a week later (due to bad weather), they were back to fix the leaks. The work was quite involved so they needed two days. Day 1 was fixing the 7 foot crack in the hot tub using specialty epoxy, rebar and matching plaster. Day two was replacing the autofiller which involved cutting concrete, taking out the old auto filler, replacing it with the new one, repiping the connection between filler and pool, and pouring color matched concrete back to make it look as clean as possible. They even matched the patterns to the existing concrete to make it look as clean as possible. I was extremely impressed with the transparency, cost and professionalism of Mike and his team! Let me start by saying, I NEVER leave negative reviews. I would rather move along and let things go. I am unable to let this service go! We had a leak visible as the backyard dirt by the pool line was always moist. We had our landscapers come out a triple check all irrigation and even shut off those lines out. We selected this company to come out due to the good reviews...on 8/24/2021 they "found" leak in the two cracks in the spa. They suggested a patch job by their company would take care of it..we went with that analysis and paid $1000 for both inspection and patch job. The patch job seem sloppy at first glance but I was just happy the leak was stopped....after weeks and weeks of waiting for dirt to dry (some rain so we stayed positive)..it did not. We called them back out on 9/24/2021 and they complete another "inspection"! They found that the pebbletec plaster in the spa was brittle and that was where the water was leaking from!! I mentioned that they had previously stated it was the cracks and Mike mentioned that those were leaking too but the brittle pebbletec was the REAL issue!! So we tried to get the brittle pebbletec quotes and every contractor that came out mentioned that didn't seem right..For weeks we turned off all pool plumbing to not cause further damage to block wall!! I'm even reached out for a quote for them as they were the only ones able to CONFIRM the issue! After a couple of months of troubleshooting we decided to contact another pool leak detection company. They came out, inspected all lines and plaster and found that our waterfall jet in the spa needed a $150 stop valve so the spa water would stop draining into pool and cause the overfilled water to leak though overfill crack (fixed with waterproof caulking-$7)!!! We are thankful the leak was detected and properly analyzed by another company...lesson learned!!! My family hopes this review helps another family save some $$$$ and avoid this company at ALL COST!!!!! read more

After $2500 for the repair and $500 for the inspection, still with leak but worse, 1/2 inch per day. I called these guys, who came out, made diagnosis, and came back a week later to repair the leak. I've spent several months trying to find out what was wrong with our in-ground spa...the crown jewel of my backyard and one of the main reasons I bought my house! The jets haven't been functioning right for some time and we'd started losing a ton of water. I was having to run the hose in there every day to avoid burning out my pump, which was both financially and environmentally unsustainable. Really lucked out finding Mike and his team. The diagnostic fee was not included in the price of the repair but it was well worth it, because even including that, this cost me about half what I thought it was going to be to fix the problem (which turned out to be a broken pipe just under the valve that controls the jets - to be fair, Steve @ Aadvark had predicted that was likely the issue as well but, IIRC, don't think he does those types of repairs anymore, and it took me a bit to find somebody who did). Mike's guys came by today, were super friendly and efficient, and had the whole thing dug up, replaced the bad pipe, installed a new switch and had the concrete neatly re-poured in a couple hours, and they didn't have to jackhammer up nearly as much concrete as I had expected. Here are the facts in regards to my interaction with this company: - Mike came the next day after my call to inspect leak, charged $275, and provided an inspection report a few days later along with an estimate of repairs. I accepted the estimate for repair. - Called Mike the next day and he told me that he would call me back to schedule as he needed to contact the diver. I didn't hear back from. Called or texted him several more times over a 10 day period. - On the 10th day, Mike picked up the phone and told me he would contact me later that day. - at 7pm after not hearing from him, I texted him and that if this is the way he conducts business (by not calling people back), that I did not want him to repair my pool and that I would be sure to reflect my experience on Yelp. - Mike immediately texted me back that he is not beholden to me to do repair, and to not threaten him. - Mike then calls me and tells me that he is not obligated to do repair and that I do not know contract law (I am actually a 25+ year practicing lawyer).
