Do not buy from these guys. They constantly gave me the wrong items saying they should be the right items I needed, even though I showed them the ones I needed. Then the object I needed to install them they said they were out of directed me to the row where it should be and showed me the sku that they were out of. I went to a competitors store and gave me the correct item And it worked. The fresh store stated I needed a two prong remover when I needed a 3rd One. They have no personality there. This place is not honest. This happened over a year ago but I had a gift card from here that I wanted to it. The guy look up my card and told me I had no funds on the gift card when I distinctly remember that I did. He asked if I wanted to throw away the card, but said no and checked my balance online when I got home Turns out, guy lied and I had at least $37 left to spend. I would not recommend this place. I had them do warranty work on a bad spa light fixture and asked them about LED bulbs before the install. They recommended and installed one of their Colorsplash bulbs that cost $178. I went with their recommendation and it ended up being an expensive mistake. I turn it on that night to see the light and it just barely lit up the spa. It was a 8 watt LED bulb which is equivalent to about 50-60 watts. The light fixture is meant for a 100 watt bulb to appropriately light up the spa. When I called to get a brighter bulb or to return it, I was told no because it's an electronic device and installed. I explained that they are the ones that actually recommended and installed the wrong wattage bulb. The clerk checked with the owner and he also said no and stated the same reason. So now I'm stuck with a $178 bulb that they sold me on that doesn't properly light up my spa. Actions like this is why everyone shops online at places like Amazon where this wouldn't happen. read more

This place SUCKS! Had a pool man flake out on us while we were on vacation and came home to some algae in the pool. Not the whole pool just small areas. Followed the directions given to me by Fresh and I thought we were good,they said do what these printed directions say and you'll be good to go,come back in a few days and we'll retest. So I return in a few days and the guy that was helping me originally wasn't there,the smaller guy that works the counter to the right. So I get the bigger guy named Russell,what an asshole he is. He does the test and tells me our pool water is at the point of no return,it's the worst water test he's ever seen and there's not much to do! What? I followed their directions to the tee for two weeks and this is what he tells me! So I go home and get another water sample and go across the street to Leslie's. Larry tells me some of the numbers are off but it's far from the worst he's seen,not a big problem and he'll get us to October when we can change the water. Here we are a week later,the pool is shining and spotless THANKS TO LARRY AT LESLIE'S. My advice is simple,if you still want to go to FRESH and the only person in there is the lazy arrogant guy Russell don't walk,RUN away across the street to Leslie's,you may pay a little more but you get what you pay for at FRESH POOL SUPPLY,shitty advice and shitty service!!! read more

Just went here to check out some stuff for my filter I walked in straight to the counter because I honestly have no idea where to even begin there were two gentlemen working both counting registers and neither said anything and it was awkward for a few moments I walked around the store looking for what I came in for was still on sure of some stuff so I walked back towards the front then out the door slowly still did not hear anything at all I came to my car to actually leave a negative yelp review because I was like how could you not even greet a customer how rude is that. As I'm sitting in my car pulling up this location on yelp a gentleman comes of running outside apologetic there was just some confusion he thought I was there to pick up the other employee so I will give a five star for the fact that he came to redeem himself and was actually interested in trying to help me. If there was a negative star(s) I would do as many negatives as I could. Purchased a pool pump from this company. Was quickly given a card for their sister company that "could install it for me" (Fresh & Clear Pool Service Inc.). Called and made an appointment with this company was given a date for service. The company requested photos, so I sent those in. Called three times to confirm the appointment and to get a quote. Day before the appointment, called again and was told that they would not be able to keep the appointment because they needed more pictures. This excuse could have been brought up the previous three phone calls. Told them I would be bringing the pump back in for a return and go with another company. Was told I could not return the pump because "it would be a lot of work for them". I would strongly advise against using either one of these companies. Very bad customer service. Both these companies are owned by Ken and Ashley Green and the only way to get a hold of them is by email. Such piss poor customer service. Looking at some of the other reviews I am seeing a common theme. Pretty much all sales are final. read more

I bought a pressure release valve and gauge from them for my pentair unit and it snapped off in less than 30 days. when I brought it back in for an exchange the rude person behind the counter told me that there was nothing they could do and that I could try and call Pentair direct. Instead of doing the right thing and replacing the unit and going after THEIR supplier. counter guy was extremely rude about it and said the only thing he would do is sell me another one. SELL ME ANOTHER ONE??? why in the heck would I buy anything from them they are not willing to stand behind for less than 30 days? rip off artists. and that is saying a lot considering it is pool supplies. I have long been tired of Leslie's and their obscenely high prices, high pressure sales and uninformed employees. I needed to replace my filter cartridges and looked up what the price would be before I went down to my neighborhood Leslie's. They wanted $560 for the set of four cartridges when a whole new unit would be $800. A quick search turned up the set of cartridges are easily available for under $250. I called Fresh Pool Supply and they had them for $215 and because they didn't want to waste my time, instead of just confirming they had them in stock by looking at the computer, they went and visually confirmed they had them in stock. Even though Fresh Pool Supply is a 25 minute drive away from me, I will gladly make the trek for all of my pool needs and will never spend another dime at Leslie's. read more

I purchased my first Hayward vacuum (PoolVac V-Flex) for $462.00 from Fresh Pool Supply on 9/19/20. It worked reasonably well for 10 months and then stopped working. I brought it to them and they indicated that the "turbine" was damaged and they replaced it. I brought it home and it was dead in the water. I returned it to them no less than 4 times and each time they sent me back with it and it still did not work. I have been borrowing my neighbors every few days to clean my pool and it works immediately so I know it has nothing to do with the pump settings. The last time I brought it to them they said they would approach Hayward to see about a replacement. That was nearly two weeks ago. I called their manager (Adam) who told me very rudely: "We've done our job" and that there is nothing more they can do. I asked for a number to call Hayward myself and he told me to look up their customer service number myself as he did not have a number for me. So I bought a box of pool chlorine from these guys. When I got home I noticed that my shirt had stains on it. I opened the box and noticed that one of the gallons of chlorine was leaking. Called Thursday around 1, someone took a message and said they will called back. Later that day I went back into the store and took the gallon back to them. They said owner will call me tomorrow. Waited until Monday and still no call back. I called and they pretty much said it I carried it the wrong way. How else are you supposed to carry a box out of the store. Its not like I carried it upside down or even side way. The top of the box was facing up the whole time. You guys have a gallon of chlorine leaking or it had a lose cap, own up to it. Needless to say, never got that phone call from the owner. Not even a sorry about your shirt or even lets replace that leaky gallon with another one. They still have that gallon of chlorine that I took back and my money. read more
