Installed about 2 years ago. Was assured by salesman that any issues with the pool fence would be handled. After about a year one of the supports that allows the gate to latch keeps walking out of the ground. This obviously doesn't allow the gate to close on it's own. Defeating the purpose of a self closing pool fence/gate. After contacting Poolsafe, I was advised it would cost $200 dollars to come out and fix/adjust. Unsatisfied with that resolution I requested to speak to a manager. The manager advised me that I was "negligent" in that I did not contact them earlier with the issues. I feel like they got their money and no longer care about the customer. I would not recommend this company. read more

Very happy with the safety fence around our pool; it was installed in a very timely fashion and the price was very reasonable ; the fence has really good visibility and doesn't really diminish the view of the pool. Easy to take out and put back in; we have had to remove it recently because we are doing some landscaping work around the pool and very easy to remove . I feel it is very sturdy and not easy to climb over or remove by our small kids. We have 2 gates on the fence that are lockable and easy to open but the opening mechanism is out of reach from small kids . I'm overall very happy with the service and the fence ; would recommend to families with small kids or pets . read more

This has truly been the worst experience I can recall ever from a company, especially with Andrew Purcell. I ordered a motorized pool cover system in June of last year. They came out to install and ended up breaking a bunch of my pool tiling and coping, only to find out they ordered the wrong size cover. I had to wait almost 2 months for a new cover to arrive. The day they installed I noticed a rip in the corner of the cover, thankfully I took dated pics of it. I figured I would just let the issue go hoping it wouldn't turn into a larger issue. Well it did and within 1 month the tear got larger and my cover would no longer open or close creating a huge safety issue for my 1yr old daughter. Andrew then refused to come out and install a new cover, saying that the existing tracks I had would need to be replaced and that it would be an extra $2k in costs from their original quote. Mind you the whole reason I chose to go with Poolsafe was because they came out and told me that I had some existing aspects of the motorized cover system that I wouldn't need to replace including the tracks which would keep my costs down a bit. After numerous unprofessional encounters with Andrew including screaming at me on the phone, he finally agreed to upgrade the tracks in lieu of all my costs to get my pool coping and tiling repaired. I now had a shift pin that snapped off the new motor and called to get serviced under warranty. Andrew refused to warranty the repair, despite the sales rep telling me I had a 5 year warranty, their office manager saying it's 1year (which this would be inside of), their website saying mechanical components have a 10 year warranty, and not having a single quote or invoice stating any information about their warranties and what is or isn't covered. Andrew proceeded to tell me there's 5 warranties and they're clearly defined. "I just need to google them and figure it out." When I realized that despite the absolute hell that I've been through with this company, they still aren't going to honor their work I tried to just move forward with scheduling the service and paying them to be done. Andrew tells me he's removed my scheduled service from the calendar and to find someone else. I've never experienced such a lack of professionalism and accountability by a company, especially from a manager that raises his voice at a consumer and tries to belittle them over the phone. Please think twice before using a company that won't stand behind their work or try and do the right thing for their customers. read more

When my current pool cover failed Poolsafe came over and adjusted it to function while the new cover was on order. The new cover came on time and was professionally installed at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, while the new cover was functional it had been manufactured with a cosmetic flaw. The Poolsafe guys were referred to me buy my friend, who's dad owns a custom pool company (Golden Leaf Construction out of Ontario). They do custom pools and have used PoolSafe before. Quick response right away to schedule an estimate a few days out which we needed. Dan the sales guy came out and was easy to work with. He's a no pressure take your time kind of sales guy. I appreciated that. Tim did the install with Jose and the two of them did an excellent job. Tim met with me on the morning of the install to confirm the layout we wanted. He then suggested a couple small adjustments to the layout that turned out really nice. The best part was his updated layout saved me about $200 because the updated layout used less material. I didn't find that out until we were all done which was a nice surprise. Having this fence up for the past 4 days has been great. We we're in the middle of moving in this past weekend and I didn't have to worry about my 4 and 2 year and the pool. Thank you! read more
