The tangy Kraut with the rich cheese and perfectly greasy, flavorful crust was everything you want in a classic dive-style pizza. The cheese was great quality, the crust had just the right consistency, and the whole thing hit the spot after a long day outdoors. We also grabbed an order of onion rings, it was a massive portion, perfectly crispy! It was honestly shocking to find this level of quality so far away from the city. We sat at the bar with a friendly bartender and chatted with some locals playing pull tabs, which just added to the charm. Great food, great people, and exactly the kind of small-town gem you hope to stumble into while exploring.
