Do not do business with these crooks . Had a flat tire on the freeway , so I contacted them to come help . They charged me $135 which I agreed to pay . When the driver arrived he told me my spare tire was flat . He then told me there was nothing he can do , he said to call a tow truck . I then asked him if I would get refunded because nothing was done . He said he would tell his office to refund me my money . I just received an email saying that I will not be getting a refund . I was stranded at the Costco Parking lot with a dead battery on Sunday afternoon. I called Honda roadside assistance and they sent out Pop A Lock. The technician tested the battery and replaced it with a new Interstate battery for $196.10. The next day I noticed that the car was laboring to start so I made an appointment with my Honda dealer on Wednesday to have the electrical system checked. Their diagnosis was a defective battery and referred me to Interstate. Interstate checked the battery and replaced it with the correct battery with higher cranking amps. Called again on January 9, 2023 and informed by Jessica that they do a one time courtesy jump start. They sold me a battery last November. It had a three-year warranty. And when I needed help they told me to go to Midas. Midas told me that they've turned in too many batteries and they were no longer handling their warranties. So I had to buy a whole new battery and my three-year warranty was junk. I waited longer than quoted and unfortunate was trapped in a complex and didn't know the gate code so the guy left after waiting 10 minutes. Like I get it but I waited more than an hour when I was quoted way less than that. And then when I called him to just see what happened he answered and hung up on me and then sent me to voice mail. I have Geico insurance, and have had to use roadside assistance for flat tires three times now, (different cars). Pop a Lock has been fast, friendly, and efficient every time. Once, a tow truck was dispatched from another company, they quoted they would get to me in an hour. After the hour had passed, they called and said they had another call do it would be another hour. My roadside cancelled them and dispatched Pop a Lock, who quoted 35 minutes but arrived in 15. These guys don't tow (as far as I know) but they offer so many other services. Tire change or air, battery charge or jump, unlock, maybe more. These guys are great, and now any time I need local roadside, I ask my insurance to send them specifically. Thanks guys! read more

Dispatch was extremely unprofessional when my Nissan roadside assistant three way called us in to explain that her technician didn't secure my vehicle's tire wheel rack under the vehicle. You can literally see components hanging from underneath of the car. We tried to explain this to her and she ended up telling us that because of my hostile demeanor she wasn't going to service us and hung up on us. I told her that a mechanic should know what I'm talking about I'm not a mechanic, and she answered back to me, my technicians are not mechanics. I also heard her berate my Nissan roadside assistant helper. When Nissan send a new company out, they were appalled that he left the tire in my trunk causing damage to carpet , and that he didn't put everything back together again. Too boot, he put a blatant flat tire back on without pumping it back up and ensuring it was safe. New technician said if I would've left my garage I would've been in serious danger condition. What a way to start a Sunday! An old car with a very dead battery. Called for roadside assistance from my insurance company and they sent Pop-a-Lock. A locksmith to jump a dead battery? Couldn't have asked for better service. They gave me an estimated time of arrival. 15 minutes before the arrival time, they called to tell me they are 15 minutes away. Joseph, the technician who came, called just before arriving to confirm the location. He tested the battery and let me know that the battery in fact was very very dead. Not a surprise. He gave me two options. He could boost the battery and get the car started and I can go elsewhere to buy a battery. Or he could sell me a battery and put it in on the spot. He was honest and told me that he I could probably do better on the price if I shopped around. However, the convenience of having the battery replaced within 10 minutes of his arrival was too tempting compared to trying to shop for a bargain. 10 minutes later, the new battery was in & my car always ready to go. read more

Of course in triple digit piercing hot Nevada weather my car battery decided to die after I got done with my shift. I put in a request through my insurance roadside assistance and they arrived within 20 minutes of my request. My technician was Joseph and he tested my battery life and showed me zero percentage left on my battery and jump started my vehicle. My car started instantly, he did give me the option of having my car battery replaced on site and showed me different prices and told me my insurance company will cover $60 of the total cost of the battery. I called them at 11:30 am today for an emergency call because the mother of my children was stuck at the grocery store with her groceries and kids. They estimated us 45-60 minutes that they would be there. I sent her the money for the transaction and assured her help was on the way. She called me back at 1:30 saying she would just reach out to her insurance company. I was understandably upset, so I called pop a lock to see why the technician never showed up. All they could tell me is that the call was cancelled. They couldn't even give me a reason why. She ended up calling her insurance company who sent the same company.
