Pop-A-Lock was called via our insurance company when we woke up to a dead battery the day after driving down to Cocoa Beach from New York. The very young male employee arrived in an hour as promised in an unmarked Nissan Cube with a small battery pack that failed to jump our Chevy Traverse. He also tried to access our battery directly but didn't have the necessary screw driver. He actually didn't have any screw drivers and said that he had just cleaned out his car the other day. I had jumper cables in my emergency roadside kit that he used to try to jump my car using his. That also failed. Later when a different towing company arrived, that employee jumped our Chevy Traverse in an instant using his battery pack. Now I'm wondering if the Pop-A-Lock employee knew what he was doing. read more

OMG! They are fast. Needed to change keys at the office. They get here fast. These are special commerical locks where you would need to order parts and they have special keys that can't be easily copied. They had all the parts on their truck! I called another service last year and they took a week to get the lock changed. They came out, ordered parts, came out again, it was an ordeal! Pop-a lock just came out and got it done. By they way, they aren't even that expensive. Totally reasonable cost. read more

Terrible terrible service. They were sent to get me road side assistance. After waiting an hour, me having to call several times, promises that the driver would call me, and getting nothing; I call my insurance just to find out that the driver couldn't locate me and decided to go back. Our keys were locked in trunk of a 2016 Kia Optima at a car rental location. AAA couldn't get trunk open. Kia dealership was useless!! Keith from pop a lick came and got trunk open and after 6 hours of people scratching their heads we were finally free to drive!! Awesome service. I called Pop-A-Lock to get some work done and they gave me a time frame between 12-2pm. At 2:20 I asked where the technician was and the office told me that he was running late but that he was almost finished and he would be there soon. Then at 3:20 I called again about where they were and all of the sudden they realized his van was having problems and they would have to reschedule me. It was a total waste of time and the money that I could've made at work that day. On top of it they weren't even apologetic. I guess with a name like that you can expect a shady business! Made appointment on June 27, 2018 for June 28 between the hours of 2 PM and 4 PM. Took four hours off from work to come home and wait for the service technician. Takes me 45 minutes to come from work. I arrived 15 minutes before 2 o'clock and waited until 3:45 PM with no service personnel yet arriving to the house. I called Pop a Lock dispatch office and talked to Sandy. She told me she would contact the service technician and have them call me back. 30 minutes later no call from the service technician and one hour after my first call I called dispatch again. Talk to Sandy, again. Asked, why haven't I been called and had appointment time changed? Common sense and common customer service should have been applied. Even if technician was behind for the day a phone call would've made all the difference. She agreed and said she would have the technician call me, again. One hour and 20 minutes after my 4 PM window: No call; No show; No service. I would not have these people pop my corn let alone any lock!!! Worst customer service anyone could ask for. I lost more money missing work then five times what this work would have cost. Are they going to pay me for lost time and wages? Screw them. Use someone else and save YOUR TIME and $$$. Don't let them do it to you. 5:30 Randall calls! Asks if he still wants me to come out? Got held up by rain??? What does rain do to hold up a locksmith?? Really??!! Said I called someone else to do the work. His response: "Ok, Bye". How's that for trying to resolve a poor customer service situation folks? Highly dissatisfied with this company , thank goodness the technician dispatched was extremely compassionate and professional!! I Placed a call to my insurance at 12pm because my car died in a parking lot , they dispatched pop a lock to give me a jumpstart (instantly on the phone by the way ) , we got a confirmation text saying eta was 1 hour . After and hour and a half of waiting I called pop a lock directly asking how far away they were ( it was 85 degrees and I have a 11 month old baby and 4 year old ) they said I was next in line and somebody should be there within the next 30 mins , I was upset but agreed and hung up . After 2 hours and 45 mins of waiting I FINALLY get a call saying that the technician they had originally dispatched was "taking too long " so they dispatched someone else instead and he was "10-15 minutes away" . I was livid . Upon the man arriving, he managed to actually show genuine care about our situation was extremely apologetic on behalf of the company, professional and over all such an amazing worker I was AMAZED . If I EVER decide to call pop a lock again ( highly unlikely, but) I hope more than anything I get the man named Zayn . Way to go man , you deserve a raise !!! read more
