The lights were out on the order board at the drive-through, so he told us to come to the window, Where he was rubbing his nose with his finger, and then coughing into his shirt, not wearing a mask at all. We were told that the only thing they had was spicy tenders, but then once we started grilling him we found out they did have biscuits and cookies, which is what we wanted anyway. This was an extremely frusturating experience, even for a fast food place. We pulled in Tuesday after the lunch rush and decided to split a meal. We attempted to order a #6, mild, with fries and a sweet tea. This unfortunately took 3 tries as it kept morphing into a different order with each repeat from the employee. We finally got them to repeat back the right order, though they didn't give us the cost until we pulled forward. I was ready for us to drive off after the second order morph but my husband decided to give them another chance. I considered that they may be getting more highway noise than we were aware of, causing issues hearing the customers at the drive thru. I have no idea if this was the case as no one acknowledged, explained or apologized for the pain when we pulled up. Nearly $11 for one meal is pretty high for fast food. After we paid, a shift manager told the girl at the window (even though we were right there) that they only had four mild tenders to which they asked us if a spicy tender was okay. Considering part of the order morphing when we tried to place our order was that they kept making it spicy, I was quite annoyed by this. My husband has more of a tolerance for spicy so he said as long as they kept it separate that would be fine. I'm sure this is based on what was ready, but they didn't even give us the option to wait for more which made it seem like a business that does chicken ran out! When they gave us the food there was an extra bag with a very dry red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting with red sprinkles. It's unclear if this was a Valentines Day promotion where every customer got a free cake or if they gave it to us because there were issues with our ordering process and they didn't have what we wanted ready. It's unclear because no one said anything to us, but I verified we weren't' charged on the receipt. The food was alright but it's fast food so you should never have extremely high expectations, nor hold it against a fast food chain. The chicken didn't have any fatty/stringy portions which is good but didn't taste like much of anything. The fries and biscuit were as expected. You can't be too hard on the food here or at any other location. My main issue was the lack of communication made it an aggravating experience. Not explaining one thing happens if you are busy but not explaining three things makes us regret even stopping here, especially since we were the only drive thru customers and I could see at least six employees from where we sat. read more

This Popeye's is TRASH!! On Sat, Jan 16th, They kept my debit card and went on a shopping spree with it until my bank blocked it and disabled my card. They had every opportunity to give me my card back, "after not noticing the guy didn't give it back nor my receipt", because I had to pull to the front and wait on my food for about 10-15 minutes but instead they kept my card and committed a felony... The staff look nasty, my food was burnt and nasty and I was overcharged. There were about 3-4 employees there in attendance. One was sitting down on her phone. They did not have any masks on. I threw my food away before I got on I-35 heading back to Dallas so I wasted money. I will NEVER ever stop there again.
