Went here on our way to Austin, it was absolutely packed when we got there. I ordered a double double burger and cheese tots. The food was ready very fast and they had RC cola with free refills. The place is very small but it was clean and we had our room once we sat down. The burger was just great, probably in my top 10 burgers, it's a good size and was very filling. These made to order hamburgers are great. They are just the right size, juicy, and taste like you made them at home. I also like it their hamburger patties are fresh and never frozen because it definitely ads to the flavor. I'm not a big fan of their French Fries so I get their tater tots instead. The only reason I didn't give them fIve stars is because they don't offer hand cut fries. Their staff is super friendly and they get your food out to you gas st. I can see why this place has great reviews. First off they accept all major credit cards. Secondly they have coke products. The place itself is not big but I was able to get a table for myself. The staff was all very friendly, they have some good food options and the burger was really tasty. The seasoning was great and all the veggies it comes with were fresh. I saw a DQ sign on the highway and was hungry so while driving towards DQ I passed Christi's that had many cars out front.....needless to say, this is a good thing. So I turned around went in and WOW. 3 people behind the counter (one taking orders, one prepping burgers, and one making burgers with grilled buns. 3 bar stools, 6 tables. I placed my order and asked if they had shakes and the lady said, "No, but you can have as many soda refills as ya'like." They must have filled 30+ orders before they got to mine and I didn't mind the wait because: 1) Watching them make the burgers was truly a lost art form, 2) I got a free soda refil, and 3) when I bit into my $2.30 cheese single stack cheese burger I then knew after 50 years of living what a cheese burger was suppose to taste like......WOW WAS IT GOOD. They're amazing! That being said, the burgers are too small for me, I always end up having to order a hot dog with the burger. The hot dog is pretty great too so I dont mind it too much. I heard about this place from locals. It is a short order restaurant that has a decent selection of burgers. From the moment i walked in, the placed was packed and stayed packed until i left after being there for 45 minutes. They have a very friendly staff and charge a decent price for food. Location is a bit out of the way but well worth it. Why i didn't give it a 5 star. The restaurant is fairly small and orders keep coming out quickly and unidentifiable. There is one person shouting names for their burger and it was weird the didn't make sure the person who ordered it got their food. I felt like i could literally snag someone else's food. Lastly, the hours of operation are absolutely terrible. Most people cant enjoy their food because they cant get off work early enough to make it there before close at 5pm. Overall, this place is a treasure for the waco residences. Great burgers and enjoyed them to the last bite. Terrible hours and unorganized ordering process.
