This is still a regular stop for me and my family when we drive to DFW and back. So happy the construction is completed on the highway because it's now much easier to get to and from Christi's. I love their consistency in food quality and service. Keep up the great work!

Ordered a bag of burgers and fries for the drive up 1-35 - Christi's is just a few minutes east of the Hwy. As advertised - a 25+ year Waco tradition for fresh hamburgers right off the grill, ordered from a small counter with swivel seats from a friendly crew who takes pride in their food. Family loved the fries and grilled-cheese sandwichs. As others have said - burgers and sandwiches are on the smaller side - but they certainly pack a gastric punch! Walk-through the kitchen to the one-man'er restroom :).

These made to order hamburgers are great. They are just the right size, juicy, and taste like you made them at home. I also like it their hamburger patties are fresh and never frozen because it definitely ads to the flavor. I'm not a big fan of their French Fries so I get their tater tots instead. The only reason I didn't give them fIve stars is because they don't offer hand cut fries. Their staff is super friendly and they get your food out to you gas st. I'd definitely rate them as one of the top burger joints in Waco. It's difficult for me to be in Bellmead and not stop by Christie's.

Stopped to try em on national hamburger day and wasn't disappointed. THEY HAVE TOTS!!!! I did straight Cheese Burger with everything and a Hot Dog. They do hot dogs by chopping them and serving them with chili-like spices. A real hot-dog-yum-yum Nice little place and sweet people.

One of the best burgers in the Waco area. This is a local hotspot. You could meet people who have been going there for 20 years or more.

Tasty Burger, friendly staff. Come early to avoid the crowd. We visited at 11:00 am and had our food quickly.

Great homemade burgers. Food was fresh and very tasty as well as reasonably priced. Nice little hole-in-the-wall in Bellmead/Waco.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in and directed to choose a table of our preference. The waitress quickly came over and grabbed our drink order while we looked at the menu. We placed our order and the waitress was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. She also informed us they work as a team so we can stop anyone when/if we need something. We started with the "Burning Bush" appetizer (crispy Brussel sprouts w/ lemon garlic aioli). YUM! They had just the right bite to them, and the glaze on them paired with the aioli was delicious! For our entrees we had the Golden Calf Burger w/ sweet potato fries and sriracha aioli and The Weight of Glory Sandwich w/ broccoli slaw. They were both incredibly flavorful and fresh! You can tell they locally source their ingredients and prepare them onsite. The portions are also plentiful, and we left with a takeout box. To round off lunch we tried the special mousse on the specials board (coffee flavored cheesecake mousse). It was so delightful we dug in before I could snap a pic. Just enough coffee flavor paired with chocolate sauce (not hersheys ). The big windows allow for a lot of natural light and lends to a welcoming and warm environment. We will for sure be back and bring others!

I especially enjoyed how the herbed goat cheese mixed with the lemon aioli (aioli is garlic mayo so the garlic is redundant in the menu) and beef patty. That combo was deadly to me, oof Some nice cold coleslaw to compliment the hot burger was a nice mix. I still haven't forgotten how heavy their tomato soup is! So packed with flavor omg. Friendly + quick staff as always and gorgeous wooden seating.

We got seated right away around 1:30 pm on a Friday. There appeared to be only two servers covering the entire room but they did a pretty good job of it. Our waiter, a young man was quite pleasant and knowledgeable. He used an electronic order taking device and was able to customize anything we asked for, right in the device. Three of us ordered shakes. My friend loves Coconut Cream Pie, which they have and she was considering a shake. I suggested she ask our server if he could make her a Coconut Cream Pie shake with vanilla ice cream. Sure enough, he did it and it was quite tasty. For lunch, we ordered as follows: - Patty Melt with Tots (shared by my wife and I) - Kids Finger Basket with 1 Chicken and 1 Steak finger and tots - Steak Finger Basket with Tots The food was very diner diner-like (fried or flat top grilled) and it was tasty. This was a decent and fun lunch and we'd stop here again.
