I came to try all things pickle on the Popeyes menu. The store was not crowded, but the drive-thru line was very busy. The employees were getting orders ready non-stop. They were very polite and friendly. My only complaint would be that they needed at least two (2) people at the counter taking walk-in orders. The one woman was helping at the counter as well as the drive-thru. The place was well lit due to the windows surrounding the dining area. For those reasons, the store gets a 4 out of 5 for me. OK, enough about that. I know y'all want to know how this "viral" pickle menu stacks up. I ordered the pickle glazed club sandwich, the fried pickles, and the pickle lemonade. EVERYTHING tasted like pickles. The pickle glazed club sandwich was spicy. The heat level I thought was mild. It wasn't that tasty to me. 2 out of 5 The fried pickles, I wanted them to taste better, but they just missed the mark, but the buttermilk ranch dressing helped out a lot to enhance the flavor. 2 out of 5 for me. Next up was the chilled pickle lemonade. Let me just say I wasn't sure what to expect, but if you all wanna know- it tastes EXACTLY like it sounds. I could only take 1 sip. 0 out of 5 for me. The chicken and sides are not always fresh and the staff can be very slow and rude. But I still recommend this Popeyes location because it certainly beats the local competitors for food quality if not service. The neighborhood is relatively clean and safe. The location is easily accessed via Route 1 or I-95. Parking is plentiful. They still offer coupons in local advertising bundles. And be sure to peruse the online specials. You cannot beat these bargain prices, especially for large meals. Go for it! read more

Haven't been to a popeye's for quite awhile. They built a new one in Bristol, PA and I stopped by. Not crowded at all, in fact the one guy in there seemed to be only hanging out. But I took a while decide, and it wasn't untl I asked if there were online coupons, that he gave me a paper coupon (the ones they mail out). The chicken was good, very hot and even though I already had a drink, got the small drink cup. So, yeah this one guy hanging out was talking loudly on his cell, and cursing a bit. Just went there around 7pm the lady taking my order don't listen at all. 3 meals plus extra all wrong. Fries cold soda flat and cars double parked waiting for food. The drive thru is separated with a small island so I asked how do I get out with them parked like that she signals me thru the window to beep. I the. They had a good deal so I went for it. 1) Place was seemly clean and welcoming. 2) Person taking my order was nice. 3) Chicken was delicious and I probably should not have ordered more than two pieces.... NO STARS is what they deserve. The WORST fast food store EVER!!! I go there every so often because service is not good. They give you the wrong chicken, apple pie that should have been thrown out hours ago, and chicken that has sat there too long. Today they out did themselves. I sent an email the their corporate office. My chicken sandwich looked like someone made it, way too much sauce, sat on it and then gave it to me. The worst offense was that the "manager" thought that was ok to serve. She needs to be FIRED along with the cooks. Fast food fish options are dismal in this area. Glad to see this place moved in with some fish options. Chicken is very tender and tastes very good. It's better than kfc, and doesn't have all that skeeviness that comes along with kfc, but to be fair, kfc sides are better. Tea is good but it's almost same as McDs. The spicey options are quite spicey. If you don't eat hot food regularly you should try a sample before investing in a large order. It tastes great, it's just a few notches hotter than you would expect, and I am certainly a chili-wuss. If you're into such a thing, the family size French fries is a huge biscuit box filled to the top. Quite a value. read more

First time at this location. Arrived around 7pm. We noticed that there was a long line at the drive-through so we went inside to dine-in. Not impressed. There were about 2 guests inside but the tables had sauce on them from previous guests and the staff did seem too interested in cleaning. Food was okay. Seemed a little over cooked to our liking. The dirty tables made the meal a bit unappetizing. Ended up cleaning the table ourselves soothe next guests did not have to deal with it. Personally will not be returning. read more

Went thru the drive thru today and ordered lunch. I checked the bag before leaving and instead of the rice I ordered, there were French fries...ok, no big deal. I drive around and tell them that they made a mistake. English isn't the first language spoken here so she promptly blamed me, saying I did ask for fries. (I hate fries). It's a Popeyes. Look I've been here over 10 times. Popeyes is my go-to cheat meal. Though they're not perfect, I get disappointed about 1 out of 5 times I go there. Hence my 4 stars order. They rarely mess up my order but occasionally the chicken you get isn't as fresh as you hope. Like I said this only happens once in a while. It depends what time you go there. But it's a fast food joint. They're not perfect. But for fellow Popeyes fans, I do recommend this location. I think it's better than the others. read more

I'll get straight to the point. I ordered the #4, at Popeyes, that's a Popcorn Shrimp meal. My choice of side was Cajun fries. The drive-thru was fairly quick and I was extremely hungry and ready to eat, so I will have to add, I was very disappointed. The shrimp were clearly old and sitting under a heater I suppose. The fries were cold as well and the biscuit was hard. Triple whammy. I know it's fast food and I should never get my hopes up but eh..I really love Popeyes and ive never had a bad experience until now. Now the staff seems new every time we go in, a young pregnant girl very nice seems to be manager if not should be. This was my first time ever going to Popeyes and boy am I glad that I chose this location. The customer service at the drive thru was outstanding. From the girl who took the order to the employees packing it to the young girl who delivered it through the window with such a pleasant smile and positive attitude! I was able to watch thru the drive thru window at the many staff busily working around each other in such a smooth manor in a very well lit work area. I could see that each one used tools to handle the food, not one person used a bare hand. The manager popped out to confirm our order and I was 100% confident at that point that it was correct- and it was! The food was equally delicious and I will definitely go back but next time I will go in the restaurant to eat. Way to go Popeyes on training your staff to exceed customer expectations! read more

Quality is consistent at this place. And it's Popeyes...can you go wrong? Some of the staff is more trained than others but they will fix your order without a problem. It's about 3 miles away from 95 and about 7 from US 1 so you can get your Popeyes and continue your drive. read more

I work in this area and go here usually once every 1-2 months. While the food has always been pretty good here the service has always been terrible. Choosing this location for my lunch break is comparable to playing the lotto because my chances of a bad experience outweigh any good ones. I have spent more than 25 minutes waiting for food at times. They never tell you there will be a wait when ordering, in fact, I began to ask if certain items were available before ordering and was told yes but still waited 15 minutes. One time I ended up getting 2 lunches after watching my husband eat his entire meal because they 'forgot' about me. Other times the food is quick but the service has always left much to be desired. They seem to be nice; however, they are very slow and easily confused. I once questioned why they rang up my order the way they did but after 4 of them (including the manager) stared blankly at my receipt for 5 minutes I decided to just pay the extra $1. They were still gathered around trying to figure it out as I finished my meal. I must be a glutton for punishment though because I still go here occasionally, just never when I 'm in a hurry and I try not to order anything not already in the food bin. read more
