Wow, I've been frequently this restaurant since they built it. But today was the worst food and the worst service ever. I ordered a three Peace combo and two of the pieces were literally smaller than the chicken wings they sell. I politely asked for larger pieces in the rude girl at the counter refused. Not having enough food to eat for lunch I ordered a separate chicken breast, even though it was much more than I wanted to spend, and I received a piece of chicken that was dried up and scrawny and disgusting. The girl at the counter was rude and completely. Un concerned with any complaints. You definitely want to avoid this restaurant on weekends when their primary staff is not there. read more

This was my first time trying Popeye's. I got the 10 piece family meal with the classic chicken and got the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes as sides. I must say that the drive thru line was horrendous. It was an incredibly long line that did not move at all for 10 minutes. I actually left to do my shopping at Walmart next to the restaurant and checked back later on the line. The line had moved, but was still long. I decided to go inside and order instead. The other customers waiting in there had been waiting a long time. One person more than an hour! I was a bit apprehensive about ordering, but he said the indoor rush has calmed. Thankfully, I received my order to go after 10 minutes. I mentioned to the worker that I came in due to the long line outside. She apologized and said that they are severely understaffed and that is what is causing the delay. There were only four people staffing the kitchen that day. As for the food, I would get the chicken again, but it was not the best I ever had, obviously. I did not care for the biscuits or sides. The biscuits seemed like they has not risen enough, pretty flat. The mac and cheese was not what I expected and really had no flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy were nothing to write home about. Replacing Ye Olde Burger King , Dublin welcomes a far better chicken place - it's polished. It's new. They're no doubt going to have issues. I went for a late lunch - 1:30pm, line was already around the building. It took maybe ten minutes - so they clearly have a solid cadence (and hopefully this indicates their future of being a solid performer, unlike that BK they replaced?) This is absolutely the slowest restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life. I sat in the drive-thru for 35 minutes.

I've been here twice since they opened. First time they gave me 2/3 of my order (drive thru). The drive thru was about 4-5 cars deep in each lane but it moved well enough. I get that it's new but I'm not very forgiving when I pay for food I don't receive. I didn't return to ask for a replacement. I ordered the 2-piece chicken. I received two very small thighs. The spice was notable but moderate. First trip was a bust. On my second trip I ordered the Spicy Blackened Chicken sandwich and an order of chicken tenders. The sandwich was good with a nice level of spice. The tenders were not tender at all... either scrub chicken or old. The size and quality of the chicken is very KFC-like... which is terrible. The Dublin, Ohio Popeyes has lost me as a Popeyes customer...for good. I'm a fan of Popeyes chicken, and was excited at the opening of the new Dublin, Ohio store, since it's within 2 miles of my home. However, ever since its opened, the service has been awful. Ususally, the drive thru wait is much longer than other drive-thru services, even though I've usually been the only car in the drive-thru. Additionally, over the last several months, when I place my order, I'm told that they don't have enough of the right pieces to fill my order. I always order the same thing...a 3 or 4 piece meal, spicy, thighs only (I prefer dark meat). this has happened during my last six visits - which have been at different times of the day - from noon, to mid afternoon, to dinner time, to evening. The time doesn't matter, and there's never a line, when I pull up at the drive-thru. Seriously,if you can't have 4 thighs ready, to fill an order, why even be open?? I've quit compromising and changing my order, instead I just drive off. After this last failed visit, I've decided to swear off ever going again. I'm done. You've lost a customer, who enjoyed your product. I can't imagine that I'm the only one. read more

The manager named Patty. She was very rude and I was simply trying to make a order. After picking up a order for DoorDash, she got mad and told me I already took too much time on the window even though there was nobody else but me in the line she wanted me to turn around and stand back in line knowing I have two orders to deliver Also when I mentioned about image and customer service in this restaurant, she immediately said that she will report me and get me fired and to get back where I came from, I don't think she's a good image for this Resturant with the attitude alone.
