I had a very disappointing experience at Popeyes. I was charged extra for an additional chicken breast, but when I got home there was one tiny breast in the box at all. When I contacted the store to address the issue, the manager was extremely rude, nasty, and condescending instead of trying to resolve it professionally. I told him I would simply return the food for a refund, and his exact response was, "Don't waste your time, I'm not giving you your money back. Google it, I don't have to." He also refused to provide his name or the owner's contact information when I requested it. What made the situation even worse was the manager openly admitting he gave me "tiny pieces" because I used a coupon. That is completely unacceptable customer service. The size of the chicken was honestly shocking -- just look at the chicken compared to the biscuit in the photo, or the size of the drumstick in my hand, and I'm only 5 feet tall and 105 pounds. The portions were embarrassingly small. Customers should not be treated poorly or penalized for using valid coupons. At 4:59pm, I ordered the 2 piece spicy tenders and popcorn shrimp meal with mac & cheese (charged an extra $.50 for this) and mashed potatoes & gravy plus a 5 piece spicy tender with blackened ranch, sweet heat (paid extra $.30 for this sauce), and cocktail sauce. None of the food was hot, I wouldn't even consider it warm. Biscuits were as hard as hockey pucks. The only sauce I received was the cocktail sauce, even though I had paid extra for more sauce. The flavor of the tenders was ok even though they were obviously old, they weren't very spicy but they still had a good crunch. The popcorn shrimp was the same. The mac & cheese had good flavor but, again, it was not even close to fresh. The best tasting thing was the mashed potatoes and gravy. I arrived at the restaurant location / drive through at approx 6:35-6:40pm, with what appeared to be 2 cars ahead of me -- the one at the drive thru order speaker, and then one additional. I am not sure how many cars were ahead of the vehicle ordering. From my receipt, it shows my order was taken at 6:49pm, which means it took ~10 minutes to process 2 cars. From the 6:49p receipt, I paid for my meal at 7:09pm (20 minutes), then waited at the pickup window for another 4 minutes. During this wait time for my food to actually be given to me, I initiated a phone call to the store since the receipt said "For questions or concerns, please contact the manager on duty" ... I am still on that phone call as I type this, waiting for the manager to pick up my call. It is 7:23pm and I've been on this call for 15 minutes now. This is absolutely embarrassing service. I have had poor service times (and incorrect orders) from this location in the past, but no longer. After talking with my wife once I arrived home, we both agreed that Popeyes just does not care about customer service. read more

Slurring your words together as though you're drunk is probably going to turn your customers away. They staff is friendly, and everything on the menu is hot and tasty. No cold food or surly staff.
