It took about half an hour to get our food. We enjoyed watching Deal or No Deal on the TV while we waited lol. The guys working were really friendly, brought our food to us and even asked us how we liked the food. I would probably only order takeout from here in the future because they had those orders ready on time. I ordered the 6 piece boneless wing combo, which comes with fries and (possibly?) a drink. I did not realize that I could only choose one or the other for the combo: a drink or side of sauce. While ordering on the kiosk, I selected cheese sauce and it replaced my drink because they were under the same category of options, which I didn't even notice. Although I felt like it was my fault for not double-checking, I still don't think a tiny container of sauce is a fair drink substitute... oh well. Another thing to note is that online when placing an order/viewing the menu, it says the combo comes with a 20oz bottle of soda even though they only had 12oz cans in stock. I think these discrepancies could easily be fixed, and might prevent some confusion/disappointment among future customers. I appreciate that they gave me two extra wings because the boneless are somewhat tiny. For my sauce on the wings, I chose to try the Buldak-Gochujang and it was a little sweet with a hint of spice. The plain fries were just okay. They offer a bunch of different topping options for the fries, which I might be interested in trying next time.

The staff member was having a difficult time understanding me but we got my order in and everything seemed clear! When we went to pick up our food, we noticed the inside wasn't super clean and they had fans on in both eating areas. The woman at the register helped a couple of others before calling me up so I could pay for our order. There was no confirmation of items just my name. When our food was ready, they were missing the small french fry. She immediately got defensive saying she didn't charge me for it and I could pay still. Another staff from the back came out and also chimed in. I was happy to pay for the fry but everything is made to order so we had to wait a bit. The food here is very good. The wings weren't as crispy as normal but that could have been from the wait. Overall, there could be some service improvements made and better communication among staff.

I thought both flavors were pretty good - Honey Thai Chili and Soy Garlic. There was extra sauce in the recess of the container for each flavor that I used a spoon to pour over the chicken which was necessary, especially for the Soy Garlic since the pieces were on the dry side otherwise. We decided to take advantage of the 60 cent boneless wing special as well as try their famous Nectar of the Gods burger. The 18 piece wing (half hot honey, half sweet habanero) wasn't too spicy but always had a good amount of breading, is crisp, and sauced well. The Nectar of the Gods burger had a lightly grilled bun, juicy burger, and i loved the melty cheese/sauce pairing! The fries also have a light peppering which I love. Happy Bites continues to be a consistent go-to for me and my family in the south burbs. I crave it when I visit, travels well to carry out, and portions are a good size to share. The weekly specials are great to take advantage of to keep costs reasonable!
