First time going here. I know right now they might have a shaky score, but my experience was good. The food was good, the service was good. The fresh cut cries were decent a bit salty imo. (But that's can be fixed if you say less salt.) The burger was nothing special, juicy decent flavor, good bun. The crispy beef however..., I asked the lady taking my order what was good and she said the crispy beef was the most popular. But i was craving a burger so I went burger. Got a little "house sauce" on the side (like Big Mac Sauce) To go i got the crispy beef. She was 100% right. I see why it's popular, juicy, flavorful, decent size, good au just. Just tried Craver's in Lockport for the second time this week--and I'm officially hooked! We originally saw people raving about it on Facebook and had to see what the hype was about. Let me tell you... they were NOT wrong! I had the Gyro Italiano, and WOW. It was loaded with flavor--savory, rich, and super filling. Definitely not your average gyro! My husband ordered one of their crispers, which are like giant egg rolls stuffed with tons of meat and flavor. We couldn't stop talking about how good they were. If you try anything here, make sure you get a crisper! You definitely won't walk away hungry. The onion rings deserve their own shout-out--crispy, golden perfection. Honestly some of the best I've had in years. The fries were solid too, but those rings stole the show. Service was great both times. The first time we walked in, it wasn't crowded and our order was ready quickly. The second time I ordered online (super convenient!) and even got to pick between 10% off or a free hot dog--love little perks like that. And they write positive, uplifting messages on the takeout bags like "stay humble" and "be kind." Such a nice touch! It just made me smile. YUM. All the greatness of a beef sandwich without all that soggy bread. The fries are real potatoes and not frozen like other joints. The staff was super friendly. I came in mid afternoon during the week and it was pretty empty but I can see it filling up during dinner rush. Be patient, they're only a week old and I'm sure working out the kinks. If you don't have time to wait call your order in. If you're an entitled impatient jerk... learn to cook at home and save us all having to deal with your attitude. All-in-all. Had cravers for the first time Saturday and GOOD GOD it was DELICIOUS!!! Garlic parm fries were to die for. And I love good French fries. Fries were the hand cut ones soooo good. Wings delicious, crispy beef so good. Chicken Sammy was mediocre and basic. but everything else was 10/10. Definitely will be going back! Friendly service too- my son got a free lemon ice and he absolutely loved it! Said it was better than ice cream :) looking forward to going back here!!! Great addition to Lockport. read more

Tired the crispy beef. Interesting concept, but seemed like a one & done for me. Basically is a beef chimichanga.. tortilla deep fried but instead of burrito filling, has beef. Onion rings were standard frozen-bulk type of rings. Very dark and crunchy breading. Staff seemed very friendly. The beef was Fantastic! I inquired before ordering that the garlic fries had garlic seasoning and ranch on the side. The young man confirmed. The ranch, infact, comes on the fries. If you're 20 mins away from your destination, I recommend getting the ranch on the side. (Although that is how I ordered it. Good luck to you!) The positive vibes on the bag were- You Rock & You matter. Maybe i had high hopes catching this place from a reel with a recommendation, but I really wasn't feeling it. Yes the beef was good, but there's also good beef closer. I was turned off by the cold feeling from staff. A better writing on the bag could have given kudos where it was lacking. Not only is cravers food amazing but the owner is a truly fabulous human being that is always going out of his way to go above and beyond and help out the people. a place that see's the people as more than dollar signs. Always nice to support a business that isn't all about the bottom line and goes out of their way to recognize the importance of community. Best Gyros I have had anywhere near Lockport, Orland, Crest Hill, Joliet, or pretty much anywhere within more than an hours drive. This is the OG shop that invented the crispy beef and it is absolutely amazing, a definite must try! I am an Italian beef snob and I've got to say that the quality of the Italian beef and au jus they make at cravers was so far above and beyond anything I have tried from any other establishment and it exceeded my expectations to such a level that it blew me away. Da crispy beef was real good and a nice size. The fresh cut fries were among the best I've ever had. Wings weren't bad but nothing to write home about, the mango habenero were lacking in spice for my taste. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but they did their best to keep things moving. Everyone in there was super nice and I'm sure wait times will improve as they get more settled in. Either way, the food was worth the slight wait. Absolutely adored the super hero scene! Staff was incredibly kind and the notes on the bags to go were so cute! They were also very sweet about the fact that my old behind couldn't pronounce 'gyro'.
