Went to 82nd & University location. Dine area was dirty. Tables not cleaned. Person taking order was not knowledgeable on how to use cash register. Manager seemed to be doing most of the work. Not recommend this location!!! read more

I used to go to the one on Milwaukee just north of 82nd. Today was the worst. You can finally walk in instead of drive through only. The young girl taking orders was not friendly. I had ordered fries with one of the orders. She couldn't fit them in the box and decided twice to stuff them in the box with her bare hands. After the second time, I told her she shouldn't be touching the food with her bare hands. Oh, she was angry then. She washed her hands and put in one glove, now instead of a box of fries I got a half filled small paper sleeve, about a third of what she started with. She never apologized, nothing. She pointed over to the drink machine and said goodbye. I told her I didn't say it to make her mad. She completely ignored me. That was the last time we will go there. Floor is wet and nasty and dirty. Restroom is NASTY. The three employees main mode of communication is SCREAMING. They were out of sweet tea because none of the employees would make any. Two of the drink flavors in the soda machine were out. A lady went through the drive through had an order that was incomplete. She parked and walked in and told the employees she was missing items, and the response she got was basically,"Oh well." No attempt was made to complete her order or refund her. I love the chicken, sometimes the chicken is too spicy for my stomach so I get the regular chicken and it usually has a little seasoning on it but not to the extent as the spicy. I Love The Chicken and everything except the Mud Bugs. I bought an order of Mud Bugs from North University Ave. location and they made me sick, so I do not buy the Mud Bugs when they have them. This was just disappointing. In southwest Louisiana, Popeyes is always delicious. So I thought I'd come get some Popeyes here to try to have a taste of nostalgia from my hometown but this was just bad. The food seems to have been cooked in old grease and it just wasn't good. The drive thru is extremely slow. There was sufficient staff to wait on customers that were there. I spent over 30 minutes in line to get my food. Only 4 cars ahead of me. They never acknowledged the delay, nor apologize. Still great food. read more

Terrible service and the manager called the police because I called the district manager on her she wouldn't give us a refund that the district manager had okayed. We never did get our refund. The police show up at our home we explain our part and text to the District manager pictures we took at the restaurant of our food and our meal ticket it was ridiculous never be back read more

Went through the drive through. Was told there would be a 10 minute wait. Said it was fine. 15 minutes go by, so I go in. Nobody has a clue. Girl working at the window and one guy in the kitchen is all I see, so I think maybe they're short-staffed. Lady comes out to work the counter and asks window girl where my order is... it's been ready and she's moved on to other orders. Not to mention the line of frustrated people inside. Just went there today order shrimp box for 5$ the man assured me it was FULL of shrimp I get home to find out there was 9 pieces of shrimp (popcorn shrimp) I bought the two box of shrimp and large fries and the only box that was full was the fries. read more

If I could give anything less than 1 Star I would. All because of a rude Manager named Jasmine. After placing an online order with directions to go inside store and go to counter with order number, we did just that. We were greeted with "you're not supposed to be in here, get out". We stated what our directions said and asked if we should go through the drive thru. They said yes so we did. When we got to the order board we told them we were the online order and tried to explain what happened. The order rep yelled at us to wait a minute, literally yelled at us, then came back and told us they didn't have the order yet, even though it had been 20 minutes, and they hoped it would be online by the time we got to the pick up window. It wasn't and we were asked to pull in a parking space and wait. We didn't want to and asked them to check the order as we had the confirmation and order number. The manager told us they didn't have any control over the online orders and we would leave her drive thru right now. We pulled out, in a parking slot and proceeded to cancel our order with customer service. Afterwards we drove over to the Popeye's a couple miles away and went thru the drive thru. We were greeted with hello ma'am and sent off with have a nice evening. What a difference a kind word makes. Please support the Popeyes on Milwaukee. Stay away from the one on Slide. Store hours are horrible. The posted sign says lobby is open until 9:30 but the doors were locked before at 8:50

This location has a consistent problem filling an order as placed. One thing that makes me see RED is they want to charge .50 cents for more than 2 condiments! Their strips have become thinner chicken much unlike in the past when their strips were much thicker. Their white meat is very good along with their beans rice. The corn is just so-so. read more
