I see they are seasonal. May I ask if they continue on you menu permanently? Thank you. I always ask myself how anyone can complain about your employees and managers at the Haight Ave store. They are always pleasant and ready to assist. Your manager is there to assist if they hear a customer that sounds upset. Maybe some customers want something extra or free or wany you to move faster. I can honestly say, your managers value customer satisfaction. If there are complaints your managers remain humble and kind when explaining why? I personally asked for something extra, my extra crispy spicy chicken breast lol I have to accept "no" because its their descision. This was the worst Popeyes experience ever. I'm not looking for a 5 star experience, but this spot was worse than any Popeyes I've been to. And I've been to Popeyes in the worst neighborhoods of NYC. You must enter the drive thru with caution. The over filled trash bins and litter throughout the parking lot are a feeding ground for these large ravens. The menu board is not only missing pricing, this location is missing items being promoted and Popeyes staples as well. They are promoting the "Surf & Turf". After ordering it, the cashier informs me that they are out of shrimp. It's only 3pm. By his laughter, it was obvious that he found it amusing that they were already out of the promotional item. Well, I guess these things happen. So I order my normal 3 piece chicken combo. The cashier asked me numerous times what my side order. He then says, "Oh, I already hit that button." When asked what drink, I ordered a Diet Coke. The cashier laughs and says that they don't have any Diet Coke either. He then begins to laugh again. At this point, I canceled my order. Again, I have been to several Popeyes locations throughout the country. This was the worst experience at any of them. Fix your menu board and include the pricing. The absolute worst location. Tonight this establishment proved exactly how incompetent and unprofessional they truly are. I ordered (1) Spicy chicken sandwich combo with a large frozen strawberry lemonade ($16.99) (2) 3pc classic chicken tender combos both with cokes. A side of fries and a regular drink. Order was repeated back to me just like that. I get to the window just for them to tell me I only ordered 1 spicy chicken sandwich combo and 1. 3pc tender combo and only 3 drinks. With the receipt to reflect that order! BUT CHARGED MY CARD $41!!!!! THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME (after I told them they scammed me out of my money) THEY CANNOT DO A REFUND BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE A MANAGER AND ARGUED WITH ME THAT THEY GAVE ME WHAT IS ON THE RECEIPT!! One of the male workers really said "ma'am is the receipt lying or am I lying" and I replied "BOTH!" Being that this is the only location local to my town, I am forced to go here when I want Popeyes. However, once the Wappingers location is built, I will no longer be frequenting this location. I normally go through the drive thru since I do not live in the area. Employees have been rude to me in the past. The food is good, I can't say anything about that. The major problem that this location has is that they're constantly out of everything. Whenever I go to Popeyes, I have a certain food item in mind that I want. I get there and they don't have it, so then I choose something else that I want. They also don't have that. Therefore, I am limited to what I could choose and I have also wasted a trip there. Things also get left out of my order, which is also disappointing. I hope that this location improves, otherwise they aren't going to be there much longer. read more

I waited to have lunch here today a bit later than the noontime rush - I'd driven past this Popeye's during rush hour a while back, and the drive-thru line was backed up into the left lane of 44/55 arterial traffic eastbound, and it was backed up from the other entrance from Main Street too. Even after 1pm on a weekday, the drive-through was still busy. The food is good - it's Popeye's (if you like it then you know), though it does feel like with your combos you get a little less for a little more these days (a 3-piece white meat combo has 2 wings; didn't it used to include 1 thigh and 1 wing?). The cole slaw is a bit creamier with larger chunks of cabbage (sounds cost-cutting to me). But these are issues at the corporate level, not this specific business. What they need to do is get a little better organized. I could not believe the number of people working (perhaps some people in training), and it looked like they needed as much traffic direction behind the counter as on 44/55. Evidently you are supposed to order on the left and pick up on the right, but there are no signs saying so, and the cluster of poles that would normally be set up to direct a flow of customers were just that - clustered - in the middle. So you have a lot of people mixed together in the same line trying to order or pick up. I ordered at the exact same time as another friend, who was ordering from the other register - my meal came out quite a bit later. But I will say this - as soon as there were no customers at the counter, EVERYONE here pitched in to tidy up, by straightening, washing, sweeping, restocking - whatever needed to be done. So... they've got a bit of work to do here, but this is STILL much better than no Popeye's in the area! read more

Staff managed to botch an order of two things. Got our sides wrong, added drinks and sides we didn't ask for, and then charged $31 for a meal that should have come to $20. When asked to see the receipt they declared the machine was conveniently broken. Upsized drinks to large without telling us because "we're out of all the other cups"(?). I have mixed feelings about this location ... the food was okay but the business etiquette left much to be desired. The first time I arrived the line was incredibly long due to everyone wanting a chicken sandwich and because the parking situation is not great it made it challenging to be in the drive thru safely, so we left. On another occasion (trying to get the chicken sandwich) we decided to stop by it was about 6pm I think and when we pulled up there was a lady outside yelling to the cars that they ran out of chicken, it was closed and all the chicken left was frozen. Very interesting. So again we left lol. On another occasion (we are the persistent of sorts) we decided to try again. This time there was no line (the hype for the sandwich has died down) and we were able to place our order with a nice lady assisting and enjoyed our sandwich. I thought it was good my only complaint was that it was not super hot. I like mine to feel very fresh like it just came out of the fryer but I think mine had been sitting for a bit. Honestly I'm not sure what everyone's beef is with this place. My boyfriend and I went here last night - a Saturday - at 11pm (because everywhere else was closed or closing soon - so already they're good for that) and we had a great experience. We ordered through the drive-thru and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more polite! They (very politely) let us know that they were out of chicken sandwiches, so we got the 5 piece chicken wings instead with Cajun fries. Not a big deal - it was near closing time so it made sense that they would be out of some things. I refuse to take off a star just because they didn't have what I wanted....because it's 11:00 on a Saturday night and I'm getting fast food....I'm not gonna complain, I'm just happy to eat LOL. The chicken was cooked perfectly and super delicious. The fries were the bomb. And the biscuit was flakey and - most importantly - NOT DRY! Good stuff. Will definitely be back! read more

I'd skip this Popeyes location. Other Popeyes locations are much better and provide much better customer service. Nobody is perfect. And we always go out of our way to support local business. But we seem to consistently have multiple issues with this particular Popeyes. Last night we ordered from the app. We tend to do this because they are oft times slow, due to understaffing I believe. So we often flex to using the app. When our son showed up to pick up the order, they told him they had given our order to someone else. When our son showed them the receipt on the phone and they realized they made a mistake, the manager said "What am I supposed to do; check everyone's receipt when they pick it up their order?!". He said; "Yes." My son then showed them the actual confirmation email for the order. Even with that proof, the manager said he would have to pay again for another order. After about 20 minutes of saying my son's receipt was a fake and refusing to make good on the order, they realized how crazy the question was that the manager asked and finally decided to give us our order.....and just like many other times, it was wrong. read more

Excellent food and excellent service. We ordered $90 dollars worth of food for office lunch party. I called ahead, pre-ordered and pre-paid in person. I Picked up next day - lunch was ready for pick up as planned. I called and spoke to lead person in charge and confirmed. Great service by all, especially Mylan and Melvin.
