Late review but I came here with my younger brother a couple months ago and we ordered one of their special meals for a movie they were collabing with. Each and every time we've gone here we wait 20 to 30 minutes. Sometimes an items missing. The lobby wasnt busy and neither was their drive through. The longest was during said movie collab and we waited an hour and a half maybe two. Abysmal wait times. read more

How irritating got home to delta and realized they only put 6 biscuits that I paid for and not the 8 that's included in the family meal after paying 60$ you would think they put everything in the bag called about 6 times and they don't pick the phone up. Why do I keep coming to this place? I don't know, but it SUCKS! The chicken is ALWAYS DRY!!

When I dine at a hamburger dinner at the edge of a small town with only two traffic lights... Yes, I expect their burgers to be the top choice on the menu. When I dined at Popeyes earlier tonight I wanted a simplistic Kid's Meal for under $6.00 to make my caloric intake would allow some movie popcorn 30 minutes after dinner. My meal was in many parts: A. presentation B. time ordered to on the table C. warmth of food D. smells of the meal E. accessories (dipping & fry sauce, catsup, mustard) F. a free straw with my drink G. ability to refill my drinks as I choose (with lots, and lots of ice) H. taste of the chicken tenders (crispy, yet not dry, moist, but not damp) I. French fries (served hot, crispy, yet not singed, tender, but not raw) J. clean tables K. clean restrooms L. pleasant aromas throughout the dining experience M. a greeting when I entered the Louisiana copy-cat dwelling N. a side of extra pickles with no additional fees O. napkins without asking the clerk Yes, that is a far cry from what I normally expect from McDonald's, Taco Bell, or even Costa Vida. And yet in the November days of 2024, my money is forced to be stretched further than just 11 months ago. Sure, a new President Trump was re-elected into the United States government for a second term in 2016. Overall though, yes, only three stars tonight for the chicken was server hot, too hot to eat for about two or four minutes after they brought it to our table. My son was pleased with his spicey chicken sandwich, large soda, and medium French fries. He was not disappointed at all that Popeyes in Utah still has yet to serve Fry Sauce. Minutes after the chicken tenders arrived, oh yeah, they looked off. A little too white and not the sought-after golden brown. I waited another 59 seconds and the hot, crispy texture burned an extra ten degrees Fahrenheit and then it reached my taste buds, ugh, and quasi... yuck! The breading was soggy and I've made these same mistakes inside my very own kitchen more than thrice. The movie, CONCLAVE, was going to begin in less than 19 minutes with a six-minute drive from the restaurant door to the pop-corn line. As much as the critic inside my culinary soul craved a confrontation I dreamed of a "comp" meal, and one of those scripted lines, "Oh, I am so sorry, sir. We want our chicken served perfectly and never soggy. I'll fry up a fresh batch A.S.A.P. And would you like a free dessert to spike your glucose while you wait for our cook to spit in the batter?" (Yeah, I went too far). For the customer service, tonight was a solid 8.7 even though they were short-staffed. Not their fault, coworkers get sick. I know for the past 12 hours my stomach has been doing cartwheels and my brain has been playing racketball at the top of every hour. Will I return later in 2024 to see if the chicken tender Kid's Meal is indeed valued at $5.98? Since this place has opened I've only gotten food there once. I've tried multiple times with a gift card I was given but for some reason they can't figure out how to accept gift cards. First time I tried, they said they don't accept them. I contacted corporate and they said that I should be able to use it on the app. That didn't work either I kept getting an error saying the card details are not correct. After a couple of months exchanging emails with corporate they put the balance back onto my plastic card. I called this Popeyes to ask if they're accepting gift cards and the guy on the phone said yes. So we went there, ordered our food, and when I pulled out the gift card, the cashier said their card machine isn't working for gift cards. I can't believe that in 2023 a technical issue like this is even an issue. I love the chicken at Popeyes but there's plenty of other chicken restaurants in the area that offer chicken just as good without the headache. The comical part is that there was a sign on the wall with the store owner/manager's number saying to reach out to him by text if you're not satisfied and he'll do his best to make it right. I've been there twice. First a few months ago. I went there late in the evening and they were closing almost an hour early. They begrudgingly gave me some food however, it was so tough it was like jerky. Today I thought I would give them one more chance thinking that maybe it was just a fluke. I came right about lunchtime when food should be fresh. My chicken was tender however, it was cold, and it tasted terrible. It tasted as if they have never changed their oil. About 20 minutes after I ate one of the chicken tenders I just felt sick to my stomach. Not food poisoning sick but the kind where you know you're just a really bad food. I like Popeyes and was really excited that Spanish Fork was getting one, but I have been pretty disappointed in this location. They're often out of something I've ordered. They often get the order wrong. Tonight I used the app to order ahead. It wasn't a huge order, but large enough that I thought I was being considerate by ordering over an hour before the pickup time I selected. When I arrived at the time I selected, they hadn't even started to make it. What was the point of ordering AND PAYING ahead of time if you're going to make the customer sit there and wait for 20 minutes anyway? It only gets the second star because the chicken is good, but I will likely choose to go elsewhere from now on. I've just been disappointed by this place too many times. read more

Can here for dinner on a Sunday night. Ate inside which was nice. No one else was there. They were super quick to help us and our food came out fast. The original order of hot wings we ordered wasn't very good. All the chicken pieces were supper small and it was drenched in sauce. I love the apple pie at Popeyes. Other than that my experience is consistently terrible when I order from the Spanish Fork Utah Popeyes. Tonight was a monumental hassle. I ordered online for in-store pickup. When I arrived I was told the apple pies would need to be cooked and it would be about 10 minutes. So I waited. After twenty minutes I was told the apple pies were never actually started and I would have to wait another ten minutes. When I finally got my order I checked that there were actually pies in the bag, then traveled home. When I got home I found they had put regular biscuits instead of strawberry biscuits. They would not answer their phone, so I had to travel all the way back to get the correct item. I wouldn't complain if this were the only bad experience I've had here, but I rarely have a good experience. I wish I could get the apple pies somewhere else. My recommendation? Don't go here unless you really like something that you only can get here. Then prepare to suffer. read more

The three times I have been to this location in Spanish Fork, I've encountered the same issues. Not only are the employees rude and dismissive, but the meals are always missing food items. Also, when biscuits are part of the meal, no butter nor honey packets are given. I then go to the counter to ask for some, I'm met with attitude and treated as if I'm lying and simply want extra of those. Ridiculous. So uncomfortable and unnecessary. Being from Texas, I was super excited when I learned there was a a Popeyes near provo, and I had been going here for a while without issue, but the past couple of times we've ordered door dash, we have become extremely Ill. I was not even going to write a review, but After 6 hours of horrible diarrhea and stomach pain, I feel it is necessary to offer my warnings. I can now understand why this location has such a low review score. This place is slow slow slow. They're slow at taking orders and even slower at getting food out. It's poorly run and very inneficient. We waited over a half hour from ordering until order up. My husband and I really enjoy this place, the food has always been really good but we've gotten it like 5 times over the last couple months through door dash and every single time without fail we don't receive one or two items that we've ordered, sometimes I'm not in the mood for it but my husband wants it so I'll get a Mac n cheese and a frozen strawberry lemonade since those are my two favorite things from there, the last two times they didn't give us the mac n cheese and the last 3 times they either didn't give us the frozen strawberry lemonade or they just gave us a regular lemonade which is my least fav so I haven't really been able to eat much of anything since half of my order is wrong or we just don't get at all, it's super disappointing cause we really love this place and the food has always been good (when we've received it) but it's not that hard to be diligent when reading an order, maybe once in a while I understand things get mixed up or forgotten but almost every single time is a little excessive to the point that we don't even want to waste our time or money anymore. read more
