I want to say that it's location is the worst Popeyes I've been to. No wonder this location has a 2 star rating, it should have a 0 in my opinion. Not only did they mess up the order. They did not believe they did and opened all the boxes and moved the items. They noticed they did mess up and said they would make the missing item in my case I was missing a whole tender order. They took forever to get me the missing item. Not only did they take long and my food was already cold. But they gave me the items all separate and not how they where supposed to come. The worst part is that at the time I get home to eat. The order they missed was rushed and not even cooked well. I ended up throwing away the tenders as they were all undercooked. The worst thing is if I would have eaten them I would have gotten sick for under cooked chicken. As the rest of the reviews on here are true and so is mine. The lady taking my order read me my total after every order i gave like she was rushing me out, then it has a big sign saying ebt accepted and my card got declined. I payed with the very little money I had and got my drink. The soda machine was all scratched up and the labels were nearly gone. The fanta had no syrup in it and it was soda water. I get home and eat my food. The chicken sandwich was good, but the fries had no flavor. The mashed potatoes tasted like prison food and when I look back at the fries there is a BUG in it. Popeyes is located in an assuming strip mall area. It doesn't look like much, and it sure doesn't taste like much. I ordered the famous chicken sandwich, spicy. It was tasteless, dry. The only chicken sandwich I have ever had that was worse than this one was Chick-Fil-A. Over cooked, lacking in flavor, it was a rubbery texture and was hard to chew. It was extremely salty and hard to digest. I had the red beans and rice and recommend this side dish. I had a very dry discursive. It tasted like it had cooked by fish. Every now and then, I have a craving for their spicy, moist chicken strips with sweet mustard sauce, a warm biscuit with honey and butter, and their sweet tea... especially that "dirty rice" now known as Cajun rice. With a choice between KFC, Church's, or Popeye's, Popeye's is so many levels better than the other fast food fried chicken spots. One of the very few chain fast food restaurants that I actually crave every now and then. I think people are ashamed of declaring their love for this fried chicken joint because of the current Yelp star rating. It's definitely not In-N-Out with their consistently high Yelp ratings. Ask for your fav sauce when you order, it won't be in your bag with your food... ask politely again for that missing sauce, they will hand you ONE... You can spend $40+ to order food for your whole family, and they will likely give you TWO of your favorite sauces, but likely only after you end up asking for it a couple of times... And that's just the food! The staff ... The staff at this location are some of THE MOST RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL people I have ever come across in a restaurant service environment!!! My wife and I have encountered a cashier, literally chewing a sauce packet -- in her mouth,, while attempting to speak to us and take our order... I can't make this stuff up!! We have NEVER met a single staff member that has any hint of good customer service skills at this location! They talk amongst each other, ignoring customers rather than to greet or welcome customers... You won't even catch a smile from anyone in this location, let alone a "Thank you"... I can't fathom that this would be a corporate run Popeyes, but more likely a chain owned location from owners that obviously don't care about their business or the reputation of the brand that they are tarnishing... The absolute best summary of this Popeyes location is this: This location is utter trash and they don't deserve a dime of any patron's hard-earned money. My advice: Try literally ANY other Popeyes location if you are looking for some Popeyes to satisfy your cravings... The chicken sandwich didn't disappoint, I was pleasantly surprised! From pictures on twitter I expected it to be dry and flavorless, but it comes with sauce and pickles plus i got a side of mashed potatoes to spread on the sandwich and it was SO GOOD! We waited maybe 15 minutes because we came around 11am, but wait times get a lot longer towards the night, but I understand. Imagine working somewhere and overnight a new menu item blows up online and now the service workers have to work 10x as hard and deal with frustrating customers that don't understand working in food service. I will never order on line to be picked up from this location again. Yesterday, 09/25/21, I placed an order for a chicken sandwich, fish sandwich, 2 sides and 2 pies - 1 apple & 1 blackberry cheese. Because I needed these orders separated, when I got there I asked for another bag. When I started to open the bag, one girl just stood there, not trying to help me open it even though I made mentioned that it was tied so tightly! I finally got it open and discovered a pie was missing. Well, she had a pie in hand to give me, without questioning or looking in the bag to see if I was telling the truth. And when I said I ordered a blackberry cheese, she then tells me they didn't have any because they didn't deliver them today. Now if I hadn't unpacked the bag I would have never been told. I also, thought it odd that both women kept watching me as I repacked the bags. I asked for honey and one gave me so many packets!!! Well, when I reached my destination I realized why they kept looking at me!!! A fish sandwich costs More then a chicken, and they CHEATED me by giving me TWO CHICKEN SANDWICHES!!!!
