You can customize it online by adding toppings, I added all the toppings it comes with (except cheese) in addition to banana peppers, jalapeños, hot pepper relish, mustard, spicy brown mustard, and mayo. I recently came here to pick up my lunch order. The line was to the back wall at their deli counter. I quietly waited my turn to ask for my order as the line was busy and the staff had to take on multiple orders because it looked like everyone in line had one. They moved that line so well and so efficiently and all while smiling and being kind and courteous to each person in line was a very impressive and amazing thing to see, when I had a chance the gentleman up at the cash register quickly stepped aside to retrieve my order and got back into the line seamlessly. The location is so clean, well kept, well stocked... everyone is so efficient, accurately filling orders with a smile & a kind word... their fantastic service & delicious sandwiches is why we downloaded the app! This place is a ripoff joint. A 12 inch veggie sandwich here is a whopping $17.85. At Subway right now it is $8.69 and they have many more vegetables and cheese types to choose from that Jersey Mikes does not even offer. If you don't believe me, go to one of the Subway stores in this neighborhood and compare for yourself. Literally, the prices at Jersey Mike's are double those of Subway and the food is about the same quality when all is said and done. Subway also has significant discounts in their app, and paper coupons. The points they give you on the Jersey Mikes app after purchasing are small. For a 6 inch sandwich, you get 6 points, and you have to get up to about 48 before your first reward is issued. They do have some random days where they do double points or whatever but it's not like you're gonna necessarily be in the market for a sandwich or near one of their locations that day. Stuuupidddd. Needless to say, my Jersey Mike's days, what few there ever were over about 7-8 years, are at an end. Oh, and the guy behind the counter who made the sandwich today was totally apathetic. He put salt and oil on the sandwich which I did not want and he was like "well I already put them." Whatever. Disgusting Behavior; I decided to have a sandwich with my guest and this place was our option. We received tasteless sandwiches, so I walked to the counter and asked for salt. This location can't make the sub in a tub very well. Second time we've ordered this through a delivery app and this is how they make it. This place is a franchise and doesn't believe in customer satisfaction. I ordered a giant Italian with avocado, but when I got home no avocado??!! Well after calling to ask for at least a refund on the avocado extra charge of $3.79 or perhaps a complimentary sub, I was told that they ( Samantha) would talk to the owner to get a resolution. She called me back to tell me she made the sub and they dint use avocado slices but an avocado "spread". I told her I expected slices just like they slice tomatoes, onions, meat, etc. She told me I was not going to get a refund on this spurious spread nor any gratus sub as a courtesy. Steer away from this place. If you want the real Jersey Mikes experience go to a corporate store. The Encino and Grenada Hills stores are not customer friendly and if you are not happy too bad!! Ordered my 2 sandwiches over the phone in rush hour lunch time and got my sandwiches within 10 mins. Now that's fast service. Very clean place and everyone was sharp and friendly. Definitely a great place to go to if you want a heartier sandwich. 7" sandwiches are huge but if you want a longer sandwich you will definitely have enough for leftovers.
