Tried this for the second time. I still don't understand the hype and I'm not sure if it was because I hadn't ate all day and was starving but I enjoyed my chicken tenders this time. But they don't stand up to the hype. It was very crowded on Sunday night both inside and the drive thru mostly high school kids. The service seemed nice and attentive. The place inside was a little dirty but nothing crazy. We ordered through the screen and got our order in about 15-20 min so not too bad. The chicken tenders do taste good with quality. They come out warm, soft but still with the crisp. The Cane sauce is good but the chicken tenders honestly don't need it because the chicken is good itself. I had their coleslaw which also taste fresh. Their fries were not as crispy as I'd like them to be but still had enough of the crisp and weren't all soggy. I had a bite of the chicken sandwich and that tasted pretty good but again I don't know if it was because I really hungry. They have a lot of combos to choose from and come off as a little overpriced. I don't mind coming back but really gotta be craving them to spend almost $20 for one meal. read more

The wife wanted to give Cane's another go. Drive-thru on April 11, 2026 Saturday night at 6:30pm. Two Box combos. Simple and straight-forward. I get home, and guess what? No coleslaw in one box. Instead, 2 slices of the soggy bread-like substance, and I got one. How can you screw this up? We came here when they first opened when the line for the drive-thru was wrapped around the block. I really want to love this Raising Cane's in Northridge because the customer service is great! Everyone is genuinely helpful, kind, and patient even when they are slammed. However, the food and drink quality is consistently falling short compared to other locations like Barstow. The biggest issue is the lemonade and iced tea, which always taste watered down. They really need to follow the Barstow location's mix ratio because it's night and day. Additionally, the chicken tenders here have noticeably shrunk in size. Can you say "shrinkflation"?! If you visit during peak hours, definitely be patient as the drive-thru line gets very long. Today, I didn't just receive missing items--they sent me completely different food than what I ordered. Now like many of you have seen for Rasing Canes there has been long lines and a lot of talk. It seems like everyone I know has been and the reviews are mixed . I have been wanting to see what all the hype was about I just wanted to wait for a slow day. I wasn't going to wait forever in line, hell I don't do that for Inn and Out and I love them. I went with the Caniac meal. The chicken is tender and flavorful, the fries are crinkle cut which I have always loved since childhood. The sauce was good but they need to give you more than two for a six piece meal. Now the Cole slaw was good, nothing special and I really loved the Texas toast. I've had a few run ins where the line takes forever even if I only ordered one or two drinks which is annoying, but to be fair, they are very busy. On this occasion I wanted to get just a little something to add to my meal. So all I ordered was some strips. I tried my strips naked on this trip. Since I got them naked (fried without batter) they gave me 6 mini strips rather than the 2 I ordered. They said I got extra due to the size of them. The strips were decent, but I don't know if I'd suggest ordering them this way. They still had enough flavor. But they were tough and a little dry. That's not totally Cane's fault as that's not their main way of serving them. But I feel like they could've been better had they not been cooked so long. read more

OMG it took me literally over 20 minutes to get through the drive through line when there was only 4 cars ahead of me. This is completely unacceptable and not "fast food" at all. I went at around 2:00 am, and I really enjoyed my meal and how well the employees took my order. I have been to this location in the past, and was not too impressed by it, but for once, I thought it finally improved. However, it was when I went to use the bathroom to wash my hands', I could not believe what I saw. The soap dispenser was completely pulled apart, and there were Duracell batteries just lying around on a watery counter that is very unclean. I tried to see if I could at least hover my hand underneath the container to get some soap, but nothing came out. I came very close to vomiting, and I immediately got out of there. I asked one of the employees if they could fix the soap dispenser, or if they at least have hand sanitizer. He replied by saying that they cannot do so, and that they do not have sanitizer at this business, and instead he handed me a sani-wipe. I am just extremely appalled by this. Before I became a nurse, I worked in food service, and before I started handling food, I needed to undergo training for food handling. And even though it is common sense, we are told to wash our hands' after using the toilet, before you come into work, when you are about to leave, etc. Go into any fast food place or restaurant, you will see signs that say in all capital letters: "EMPLOYEES MUST WASH THEIR HANDS." And since it seem's like the employees and I guess even the owner are not educated on best hygiene practices, sani-wipes are meant to clean surfaces and other material items, and when you use sani-wipes, you wear gloves. It is not meant to be used to wash your hands. There is only one specific sani-wipe that is used to wipe the body (specifically for an individual who needs help and assistance when they urinate or defecate on themselves), and that is about it. And no, that was not the sani-wipe that the employee gave to me. What made it worse was that there was someone in one of the bathrooms who was just in there for many hours at a time (probably intoxicated by drugs), and another bathroom was was blocked off. And the one I was in had all sorts of male customers coming in and out of the bathroom I went into, and they seemed to not have the slightest sense of disgust that there was no soap in that particular bathroom. Anyways, if someone get's very sick (or worst case scenario, just dies), from cholera or shigellosis because customers, and employees handling the food did not clean their urine and fecal matter on their hands and arms, all of you who read this review will now know why. And yes, I did in fact submit a complaint to LA County Department of Public Health (as pictured below). I just kind of wish that I took a picture of the bathroom before I rushed out when I became nauseous. read more

From experience, the food is at its best and most consistent when you eat inside. If you go for takeout or drive-thru, be prepared for soggy fries and tiny chicken. Service can also be inconsistent--sometimes they're super friendly, but other times the loud inside environment makes it hard to hear the person at the register. That said, they're very efficient at getting your food out quickly, which is always a plus. Chicken fingers lacked seasoning as well as fries so you need to dip everything in their sauce which seems to be a blend of ketchup mayo mustard and other stuff. Chicken fingers had nice breading and were juicy and very soft. Fries were good, the bred was toasted with some kind of mix of herbs, pretty tasty. The price of 3 fingers combo was just right. I ordered the caniac combo, which comes with a bunch of chicken strips, fries, and a drink. The chicken was juicy and amazing! I liked the canes sauce, it's special and unique. The sauce was a burst of flavor and really added to the overall meal. The sauce had a peppered tomato base taste to it for me. The fries were super hot and fresh, cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Texas toast was ok, nothing special, wish it was a bit more toasted. Restaurant atmosphere is very alive especially during the weekends, the menu is small but the quality and portioning of the food is damn near perfect. You can also customize your order and the kitchen staff do honor it, like butter on both sides or extra crispy chicken cooked to order. The soda machines have the perfect carbonation for whatever soda you like and the staff must be picked by jesus himself because they're all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The only restaurant chain where I've never gotten rude service. The bathrooms are always spotless and the staff are constantly sanitizing the dining area. 10/10 recommended, a very good place to eat and the logo is (personally) a very classic and well designed brand. I've been waiting for the hype to die down at this location as the lines have been super long. Well I went ahead and bit the bullet and waited in a loooong drive thru line. Despite the long line they are efficient and do their best to keep the line moving. I usually get the box combo which is 4 pieces but instead of Cole slaw I do 2 Texas toasts and it also comes with fries. How have I not reviewed this place yet?! I have been here a few times and much less of a line compared to how it was when it first opened. The first time we tried this chain, we loved it so we were very excited for one to open so close to us. They have two drive thru lines but seems like it has condensed into one since it isn't as busy anymore? We always go for the 4 piece I think which comes with fries, coleslaw, a drink and toast. I gotta say, they are almost always out of honey mustard at this location. But their canes sauce is good anyway but love the mix of the two to switch it up. The toast and the coleslaw are my faves! Super creamy coleslaw with soft, buttery bread, dipped in the sauces, perfection. The tenders are really just okay to me. Haven't been inside the actual restaurant since we always do drive thru but it seems to be just as busy in there as it is outside. Parking is also really tight. I actually really like the food here but I have to complain about the soda machine. It's been broken for two weeks now. It has been incredibly annoying not being able to enjoy a nice soda with my meal. The ice machine and soda has been flat.
