I was downtown for the Saturday Market today... but also planned on stopping by a certain food truck I have been wanting to try. Food truck was supposed to open today at 12:30... but nobody ever showed up. So went down the street to Poppi's! And I am glad I did... greeted when I walked in, and was told to grab any open seat. Server showed up quickly with water (it was hot and sunny outside and I needed it, lol!)... and a menu. I chose to keep it light and simple and ordered the Gyro Pita. It was delicious... and had a fair amount of meat, and the Pita was perfect! Staff was great... and I love the atmosphere too.

The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Please be aware that street parking is required and may involve a fee. The restaurant is somewhat small, so depending on the day and time of your visit, you may experience a wait for a table. Their menu is quite extensive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, including two daily specials and a couple of appetizers to share. We found their mango lassies to be more tart and yogurt-forward than mango-flavored.

Very quaint Middle-eastern/Indian restaurant that's been in downtown Eugene seems like forever. Prices for dinner come to about $25-$40/each so sort of a special dinner place. Flavors are strong, portions are less so. There are better Middle-eastern eateries and also better Indian diners in Eugene/Springfield so Poppi's works for those groups who can't decide or wanna try 2 cuisines. Good service and cozy yet sort of noisy setting make for an enjoyable meal. Truly eclectic in every which way.

I am sad after stopping in. About 26 minutes total is how long I stayed. I am a first timer, was seated politely & ordered quickly. I was excited for the soup which came out flavorless, salt and pepper did nothing. They were happy to take it off the bill, something I really appreciated. (Though it was +$4 with my meal and they had it as a separate item for $7.) My hummus and pita came out-delicious! Glorious. Truly some tasty hummus. The pita was soft and fluffy-it saved the whole mood. My pita was nothing to write home about, bland chicken in my opinion but maybe that's how they're served? Again, I'm a first timer. I decided to give half the pita a go, but gave up after my water glass sat on the corner of the table unfilled while the staff chatted in the back. There were a total of 2 people who needed attention besides myself at the time. I hope they leave happier than I did. I took my remaining food to hopefully feed a person outside. Lesson learned. 2 stars for the hummus.

Fresh Greek food, well prepared. I had the salad with Gyro meat added a Julie had a Gyro. So full! Servers and the space are awesome! Love this place!

Marvelous dinning at Poppi's new 5th St Market location. Sunday is "Greek Menu Nite" - chock full of Greek culinary classics & specialties. TOTAL YUMM!!!!! Reservations a must if you go on Sunday! Ambiance- crisp, unpretentious decor; lots of tables, and small bar with seating. Utterly delicious food- be prepared to wait if restaurant is swamped. Worth it!

From seeing Yelp reviews, my daughter chose this restaurant for my bday dinner. All in all a good experience. Our server was sweet. The service however was slow. I absolutely loved the spanakopita and the hummus. The lavender lemon drop was delicious however extremely tiny- consumed in only 3 sips. The potatoes in tomato sauce were quite unremarkable. It was an eclectic yet noisy interior. If in town again I'd stop by for the spanakopita.

Super unprofessional staff , horrible food quality. The servers are teenagers without knowledge of how to give a proper service to the costumers. I hate to say this but I felt racism in their actions. Please avoid Poppi's Anatolia. Not recommended this place.

So warm and inviting on a cold winter's day.

First of all, we are trying to eat clean these days, and chose Poppi's Anatolia in hopes of a good protein with vegetables. The roast chicken was absolutely delicious!!! So was the Mediterranean salad. We didn't have anything else, but if you are looking for warm and flavorful cooking that makes you feel like you are sitting right in the middle of a Greek mama's kitchen, this is the one!

The food was tasty, as always. The music was a bit too loud but they turned it down when asked.

I've never had any mistakes or a bad experience in general with this place. The food itself is really solid. I usually get the medi fries with extra meat and pita and that really hits the spot. Half the time I have leftovers for the next day, making the low cost even more worth it. The meat is well-cooked and isn't too salty or tough. The restaurant itself is small with limited seating, so I always order to-go and eat at home. There is a decent sized parking lot that is shared with the corner store next door. The people working are friendly and get right to work once an order is placed. I haven't used the bathrooms so not sure what their state is, but if they're anything like the rest of the place they're probably pretty average. They clean daily, but it could use a good deep clean. I've always been pleased with the food here and will keep coming back unless that ever changes.

I ordered a falafel salad and garlic fries. The fries were the bomb! Crispy, hot, and flavorful- they didn't make it home in my to go order. Can't wait to go back!

It was only a single person working, so keep that in mind. They were also out of fried things since their fryer wasn't working. Normally I wouldn't mind but if the cost is $13 for a lamb gyro and fries I would expect a discount for just the gyro or at least being able to pick more than 3 veggies without an added cost. The rating doesn't reflect the price and my thoughts on if there should have been a different cost for just the gyro itself. Ended up getting a lamb gyro. For the gyros they come with 3 veggies and a sauce. Any additional veggies or sauce is an added cost. Of note, they also do offer feta and olives but those are also for an additional cost but more ($1.50 each). The workers handle the veggies so you let them know what you want. Overall, there was plenty of filling in the gyros and definitely a messy meal. It wasn't the best gyro I ever had, and didn't taste super authentic. The meat was on the saltier side, and I was expecting some more flavor. I'll probably be trying out some other places in the area before coming back.
